Can the world achieve “herd immunity” with respect to COVID-19? Anthony Fauci has said that 80% of the population needs to be vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity. My view is that using vaccines is unlikely to achieve this result, something I discussed in my August 2020 post, We Need to Change Our COVID-19 Strategy. Now, the news arm of the prestigious journal Nature has published a similar view: Five reasons why COVID herd immunity is probably impossible.
In this post, I explain why, in my view, COVID-19 seems likely to become endemic, like the flu. The vaccines won’t be enough to make it go away completely. I will also look at the issue of how we should respond to the cases of COVID-19 that we will almost certainly experience in the future.
To a significant extent, what we can and should do in the future is an energy issue. If we plan to transition to a green energy future, or if we simply plan to reduce usage of fossil fuels in future years, we probably need to scale back our plans for vaccines. In fact, any treatment that would be given in today’s emergency rooms is likely to become less and less possible as energy supplies deplete.
We will need to focus more on what our bodies can do for us, and what we can do to assist them in this effort. We also need to think about what simple changes to our environment (such as windows that open) can do for the prevention of both COVID-19 and the many other communicable diseases that we can expect to encounter in the future. The big issue will be changing expectations.
[1] Why herd immunity is unlikely
[1.1] Viruses don’t pay any attention to the geography of humans. As long as there are active cases anywhere, they will tend to spread to other countries.
Over the past year, we have seen how ineffective cutting off travel between countries is in stopping the path of the virus. Even New Zealand, far out in the Pacific Ocean, has been battling this issue. The country has found that occasional cases slip through, even with a required two-week stay in managed isolation after arrival.
Furthermore, there are hidden costs with staying this removed from the rest of the world; New Zealand’s only oil refinery has been losing money, given its low use of oil. This refinery has laid off about a quarter of its staff and is considering the option of quitting refining in 2022. New Zealand would then need to import a full range of refined products if it wants to continue having industry. Perhaps being too cut off from the rest of the world is a problem, rather than a solution.
[1.2] The cost of vaccines is high, especially for poor countries.
We can get a rough idea of the cost involved by looking at a news article about Israel’s dispute with Pfizer regarding its vaccine purchases. We can also see what goes wrong politically.
Israel recently made news for failing to pay Pfizer for the last 2.5 million vaccine doses that it purchased from the company. Pfizer retaliated by cutting off future vaccine shipments to Israel. The article linked above doesn’t tell us exactly how much Israel paid for Pfizer’s vaccine, but a calculation based on information in the article seems to indicate that future doses from a mixture of vendors would cost about $35 per dose, on average. We also know that US Medicare is paying $40 per dose for administering each dose of the vaccine. Putting these two amounts together, we can estimate that the purchase and administration of a single dose of COVID-19 vaccine costs about $75. Thus, a two-dose series costs about $150, with the high-tech vaccines Israel is now using (Pfizer, Moderna, and AstraZeneca).
We also know that Israel was planning to administer two doses per person, every six months, based on an early review of how well immunity was holding up for the vaccines. If it is really necessary to repeat the two-dose regimen every six months, then the annual per-person cost of the vaccine would be approximately 2 times $150, or $300 per person. Benjamin Netanyahu favors buying all of these doses, quite possibly because it might make him popular with voters. Netanyahu’s opposition does not, which seems to be why payment has not been forthcoming.
A cost of $300 per person would amount to 0.7% of Israel’s 2019 GDP, which is theoretically feasible. But for poorer countries, the relative cost would be much higher. For South Africa, it would amount to 5% of 2019 GDP. For Yemen, it would come to 40% of 2019 GDP. (These are my calculations, using World Bank GDP in current US$.) For countries with severe financial problems, any payment for vaccines would almost certainly be a problem.
There are less expensive vaccines being made, but their percentages of efficacy in fighting the virus that causes COVID-19 seem to be lower. Thus, it would be even more difficult to greatly reduce the number of cases down to the point where the disease would simply disappear for lack of an adequate number of victims to infect, using these vaccines.
[1.3] The fact that the disease can infect animals further adds to the problem of getting rid of the disease completely.
The disease supposedly jumped from an animal to humans to begin with. We know that the virus that causes COVID-19 can infect animals of many types, including ferrets and cats. While the disease jumping from animals to humans is supposedly unusual, we know that the disease spreads easily among humans with inadequate immunity. Having a reservoir of disease among animals raises the likelihood of this happening again. Having a reservoir of vulnerable people (not immune and in poor health) also increases such a risk.
[1.4] Microbes of all types mutate frequently. We are fighting a losing battle to stay even with them. This is especially a problem for narrowly targeted vaccines.
We know that whenever we try to reduce the population of microbes, scientists can find solutions that work for a while, but eventually we start losing the battle. Scientists can develop antibiotics against bacteria, but eventually some bacteria will evolve in a way that allows them to resist the effects of the antibiotic. In fact, antibiotic resistance is becoming a greater and greater problem. Similarly, scientists can develop weed killers, but weeds soon develop resistance to whatever we develop. The situation seems to be similar with vaccines, unfortunately.
In this case, scientists have developed vaccines that target the RNA of the spike protein of the virus that causes COVID-19. In some sense, this approach is very precise, leading to a high proportion of COVID-19 cases being stopped. The drawback is that it is very easy for small mutations in the spike protein to make the vaccine not work well. We end up needing to obtain booster shots of slightly revised versions of the vaccine quite often, perhaps every six months. If booster shots are not given, the vaccine is likely to become less effective against the new mutations that arise.
One danger is that manufacturers cannot keep up with all of changes needed to match the new mutations. Another is that the cost of trying to keep up with this whole process will become prohibitive. The medical care system may be forced to give the vaccine process up, leaving citizens worse off than they might have been if we hadn’t “flattened the curve” and kept the virus around for an extended period of time, allowing all of these mutations.
[1.5] There are very real reasons for people’s reluctance to accept the vaccine, when it is offered to them. Because of this, it is difficult to get very close to 100% acceptance (or even 80% acceptance) of the vaccines.
There seem to be any number of reasons why people are reluctant to get the new vaccine. Some are afraid of the pain involved with the shot. Others are afraid that they will be somewhat ill afterward, causing them to miss work. If employees are paid on an hourly basis and they barely have enough income as it is, this, by itself, could be a reason for avoiding the shot. Financial incentives might help with these issues.
Others who are reluctant have followed the situation more closely. They realize that important steps in the normal vaccine approval process have been skipped, making it difficult to identify adverse effects that occur fairly infrequently. Even worse, it becomes impossible to discover problems that take many months or years to become evident. Over 100 doctors and scientists from 25 countries have signed a letter saying that offering vaccines that are as radically different from what has been used in the past, without more testing, is unethical.
One concern is the likelihood of blood clots in the immediate period after the vaccine is received. Blood clots have also been observed with the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, and may be a concern with other vaccines, as well. There seem to be several related conditions, including sudden blindness, heart attacks, and sudden deaths of elderly people in nursing homes. These issues seem to be fairly rare, but people worry about them without adequate data on their frequency. If the issue is blood clots, it would seem as if simple adjustments such as taking low-dose aspirin for the time period of risk might be a partial solution.
We know that in some cases, vaccines can inadvertently make later exposure to somewhat different versions of the virus worse, rather than stopping these infections. The virus that causes the illness SARS is very similar to the virus that causes COVID-19. When an attempt was made at a vaccine for SARS in 2012, a study on mice showed that exposure at a later date to a slightly different virus led to blood clots forming in the lungs. We already know that blood clots can be an issue for COVID-19 vaccines. Will COVID-19 vaccine recipients who are later exposed to mutations have an adverse reaction such as blood clots in the lungs? We don’t know. There have been no animal studies with respect to the vaccines for COVID-19.
Another risk of COVID-19 vaccinations would seem to be auto-immune problems, especially in people who are already predisposed to such issues. Not much research has been done yet to clarify this issue.
A related issue is allergic reactions to vaccines, including anaphylaxis. The possibility of allergic reactions is one reason vaccine recipients are asked to stay for 15 minutes after receiving their immunizations. Even with precautions, some deaths are occurring because severe allergic reactions can take up to 150 minutes to become apparent. It is impractical to keep vaccine recipients this long.
The very long-term effects of both the COVID-19 illness and vaccines to prevent the COVID-19 illness are unknown. The Alzheimer’s Association recommends studies to see whether people who contract COVID-19 have a long-term increase in dementia-type illnesses. In theory, the vaccines could also lead to similar issues because of prion-like structures that are formed, both with the vaccine and the disease. Without long-term studies, we don’t know whether either of these concerns is valid. If dementia is an issue, will repeated vaccinations raise the long-term risk of dementia? We don’t know. If the disease itself and vaccines can both lead to dementia, is there an optimal strategy?
Without a better understanding of what the risks are, it is hard to convince young people, especially, to take the vaccine. Their chances of a severe outcome from the disease are low to begin with. What is the point of taking a vaccine that may raise their risk of serious injury or death? The vaccine may be appropriate for people aged 80 and over, but is the risk really necessary for young people? Without better data, it is hard to know for certain.
[2] Why a change away from dependence on vaccines is needed
The Nature article referred to earlier says in its concluding paragraph, “It’s time for realistic expectations. . . we need to think of how we can live with the virus.”
Also, as I mentioned in the introduction, we are reaching energy limits. Even if in theory we could vaccinate everyone on the planet twice a year for COVID-19, we do not have the resources to do this. In some ways, the problem looks like a cost problem (poor countries especially cannot afford to buy high-priced vaccines), but it is just as much a resource problem. We cannot devote enough resources to this project without taking them away from other necessary projects. The vaccines are very much a product of today’s fossil fuel economy. We can’t expect to make vaccines with intermittent electricity.
Because of limited resources, we may encounter something similar to the “empty shelf” problem in the grocery stores. We may find that only limited doses of vaccine are available because too many doses were accidentally ruined in production. Or, not enough of the right reagents were available. Or, more doses are needed in the country where the vaccine is manufactured, leaving less for use elsewhere. Or, there is a war in a country integral to vaccine supply lines, interfering with production.
In fact, obtaining promised supplies of vaccines is already a problem. Trying to scale up production at the same time that resources in general are squeezed is likely to make this type of problem increase.
[3] Learning to live with COVID-19 and diminishing resources per capita
If we can’t really fix the COVID-19 problem with endless vaccines for everyone, we need to look at other options.
[3.1] Strengthening our own immune systems
Our bodies come with built-in immune systems. It is the action of the immune system that tends to lead to a low incidence of and low severity of COVID-19 in some people, compared to others. Some of the things that seem to be helpful include the following:
- Being young
- Getting plenty of sleep at night
- Not being overweight. Proper exercise and diet are helpful in this regard.
- Maintaining a healthy microbiome. Our bodies need good microbes to help fight the “bad” microbes. Antibiotics, excessive antibacterial cleaners and a lack of exposure to “good” bacteria could be problems. Staying away from everyone and wearing masks, indefinitely, is not necessarily helpful.
- Getting adequate vitamin D through sun exposure, eating of foods that are high in vitamin D and/or supplementation. Dark skinned people living away from the equator are especially at risk for inadequate vitamin D.
- Getting adequate vitamin C from fruits and vegetables and perhaps supplementation.
Researchers need to be actively looking into optimal strategies to advise citizens. Schools might start teaching about these issues in health classes.
[3.2] Changing our customs and infrastructure to try to reduce the problem of communicable diseases in general, not just for COVID-19.
Customs for greetings among people vary greatly around the world. Some people use hugs and handshakes, others greet with bows. We may need to adopt more distant physical greetings, simply to help reduce the transmission of disease. Of course, hugging at home is still fine.
In the last 100 years, the emphasis increasingly has been on building tighter, more energy-efficient buildings. This is good from a point of saving energy, but it doesn’t work in a world with many communicable diseases. We need to move toward much more ventilation, often based on open windows. Because of energy constraints, we likely cannot expect to keep heating and cooling our buildings as much in the future. We will need to dress more for outdoor temperatures, indoors.
Some leaders have suggested rapid electric rail is the way of the future, but rail transport also needs to be well ventilated. It is also likely that we will be dealing with more intermittency of electricity supply in the future. We need to plan as if we are dealing with an electricity constrained future, as much as an oil and vaccine constrained future.
[3.3] Finding low energy ways to deal with the likely COVID-19 cases that do occur.
The approach in the “rich world” to date in looking for ways to deal with COVID-19 has been to look for new, high technology drugs and vaccines that might have a two-fold benefit (a) help sick people and (b) help the pharmaceutical industry. What we really need are technologies that are low cost and can be used at home. Repurposed old drugs, such as steroids, are ideal, especially if they can be made locally without dependence on international supply lines.
If COVID-19 doesn’t really disappear, we can expect recurring instances of having inadequate medical facilities to treat all of the patients in a given area. Countries need to plan strategies for dealing with this likely long-term problem. Should there be an upper age limit on patients using these facilities, for example, especially when demand is high? Or can the richest citizens have the ability to buy services, when others cannot? Should there be a lottery for beds? Ordering everyone to remain at home is sort of a temporary solution, but it is very damaging to the economy as a whole.
[3.4] Finding leadership that can think in a direction other than “more technology will save us.” Unfortunately, this is pretty much impossible.
Back in 1979, Jimmy Carter tried to change the direction of the US economy when he gave his famous Sweater Speech. In this speech, he told people that they needed to adjust their thermostats and drive their vehicles less because there was an energy crisis. We all know that Jimmy Carter was not reelected after this speech. Instead, Ronald Reagan was elected. He cut taxes and raised debt levels, temporarily delaying our need to deal with our energy problem.
When Anthony Fauci took on the COVID-19 issue, he led us in the direction of spending more money on vaccines and pharmaceuticals. His own financial interests and his work interests were in the direction of helping the vaccine and pharmaceutical interests. He certainly didn’t stop to think, “This is not a battle that we can win. There are too many instances of transmission of the virus by people who have no symptoms. Our track record at wiping out diseases with vaccines has been pretty dismal in the past. Stopping COVID-19 in one part of the world won’t stop the long-term problem.”
I expect that President Biden will continue on his current path until the economy “runs off the cliff.” I wrote in my recent post, Headed for a Collapsing Debt Bubble, that the economy was reaching a point where a major discontinuity would occur. Interest rates are about as low as they can go, and debt levels are reaching an upper bound.
Ronald Reagan’s administration started to decrease interest rates shortly after he took office in 1981. This drop in interest rates has hidden rapidly rising debt and energy problems for many years. We are now running out of room on both energy and debt. When the world’s debt bubble collapses, our ability to fight COVID-19 with vaccines will likely go downhill quickly. We will then need to find new strategies. Unfortunately, considering new strategies in advance is almost impossible.
[4] Conclusion
While it is possible to see what change in direction seems to be needed with respect to COVID-19 and infectious diseases in general, it is not something that those in leadership positions will be able to implement. Instead, we will likely “go off the cliff” at full speed. Changing expectations in advance is almost impossible.
At most, a few interested people can try to explain to their fellow citizens what is happening. Perhaps, in our own little spheres of influence, we can make some small changes in the right direction, starting with strengthening our own immune systems.

UK Govt: Vax Blood Clot Victims Must Prove They Are 60 Per Cent Disabled to Get Compensation
Boris Johnson’s government is insisting that people harmed by vaccine side-effects must prove they are at least 60 per cent disabled in order to receive compensation, capped at £120,000, according to reports.
168 people were believed to have suffered blood clots following vaccination as of last week, according to a report by Britain’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), with 32 of those afflicted dying.
So far, 43 applications for compensation have been made under an official damages scheme for people harmed by government-approved vaccinations — which also covers more established vaccines for diseases such as tuberculosis — according to figures disclosed to the Telegraph, but as of the time of publication no payments have been issued, and the government is insisting that applicants “will need to prove, on the balance of probabilities, that the vaccination caused [a] disability and be assessed as being 60 per cent disabled” before they are compensated.
The harsh stance has caused disquiet among backbenchers from Boris Johnson’s own party, with Sir Christopher Chope MP, for example, stating his belief that “The Government has a moral duty to compensate people who have suffered as a result of doing the right thing by the Government of being vaccinated.”
“They were being vaccinated for the public good — it is not as though they are jay-walking across the street at their own risk,” he pointed out.
“The Government needs to look at these cases and reduce the threshold. If it is left as it is it is going to bar a lot of deserving people from any compensation.”
https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/04/25/uk-govt-vax-blood-clot-victims-must-prove-60-per-cent-disability-get-compensation/
The Government is not being very generous. Of course, the government has limited resources to deal with all of its problems.
There have been cases in the UK of people dying of cancer being refused help as they were deemed ‘fit to work’, so this is not surprising.
More like health care of slaves than health care of citizens.
Decline, Baby, Decline!
US horizontal, tight oil production, including condensate, appears to have peaked in November of 2019 at 8.47 MM BOPD. Circumstances, some extenuating, others self-induced, caused the shale oil sector to fall off the drilling hamster wheel in 2020 and by January of 2021 tight oil production had fallen to 6.742 MM BOPD.
We lost 1.7 MM BOPD in just 14 months. If you had been standing behind that rate of decline you would have gotten sucked plum off your feet.
Over 60% of America’s 6.742 MM BOPD of horizontal, tight oil production is now less than two years old. Based on known first year decline rates, that 4.0 MM BOPD will be down to 2.2 MM BOPD this time next year.
You need to let all that sink in a minute; the decline rate of this shale oil stuff is terrifying.
The ‘growth-over-profit’ business model of the US tight oil sector did a masterful job of covering up, of hiding just how steep shale decline really is. DUC’s and junk bonds issued since October of 2020, the last hoorah for the shale sector now completely unable to raise outside capital, have caused pundits, once again, to focus on growth, not decline. A jump in rig HZ counts and analysts around the world go nuts speculating about a new “era” for shale oil.

This seems to be an excellent article. I expect that the way information is reported leads to some understatement of the most recent oil extraction amounts. This will tend to bias the 2020 indications to look worse than they really are, but I expect that they are not good at all, which is what the report says.
And then … Covid hit… and it’s been lie after lie after lie….
And now … 8B people need to get vaccinated … with an experiment …. for what would be for most nothing more than a bad cold….
THINK… about … THAT.
‘Christians and the Vaccine’ project: Combating ethical qualms of evangelical communities
The thrust of a new campaign to persuade mostly white born-again and evangelical Christians who have been unwilling to get Covid-19 vaccinations is a variation on the Golden Rule — do it for others if you won’t do it for yourself.
And the main driver behind the Christians and the Vaccine project backs up his contention that that is what Jesus would do by both citing the Bible and tapping the expertise of secular public health experts like Dr. Francis Collins, who heads the National Institutes of Health.
“It is necessary for others in the world that we Christians take the vaccine,” Curtis Chang, a theologian and founder of the Redeeming Babel site, wrote in one section. Christians and the Vaccine is a project of Redeeming Babel. “Given our numbers in the U.S. and in many parts of the world, what Christians decide will determine whether the world achieves herd immunity and whether the vaccine succeeds in bringing the pandemic to an end.”
If Christians say no to the shots and continue to insist it’s their right to do so, “then this will allow the virus to still circulate and replicate in the world.”
“Your opportunity is to take the vaccine not as something necessary for yourself, but as necessary for others, for the world,” Chang wrote.
Eboo Patel, founder of Interfaith Youth Core, or IFYC, agreed that getting evangelicals vaccinated is necessary to end the pandemic.
“Religious engagement could be the key to herd immunity,” Patel said.
The message isn’t yet resonating with born-again or evangelical Christians, which is how about a quarter of Americans identify their faith, according to recent polls by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
Especially white born-again and evangelical Christians, most of whom are Republicans and strong supporters of former President Donald Trump, who has been widely criticized for spreading misinformation about Covid-19.
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/divine-intervention-pastors-tapped-help-get-skeptical-churchgoers-vaccinated-n1264646
Perhaps it is for the best that these folks have ethical qualms. Common sense qualms might be a related issue.
They should appeal to the sentiment and conscience of Christians: “sacrifice yourself for your brothers of faith, just as Jesus died for you! Behave like a Christian!”
An alternative approach could be public humiliation: “Are you afraid of needles, you chicken little coward?” (This would be most effective said by some tiny Hollywood actress with a sneer, Frances Mcdormand, maybe.)
https://i.ibb.co/ccZBdnb/covid-vaccine.jpg
From lectures of Bossche and from the Pathogen Evolution in the Vaccinated World lecture, the theory of SARS-CoV-2 evolution into more virulent and immune escaping variants is plausible and probable.
We are vaccinating in the middle of the pandemic with non-sterilizing vaccines. Vaccines are deployed in a chaotic manner, target only a narrow target in spike protein (of now obsolete Wuhan wild strain), many parts of the globe are without vaccination at all, many segments of populations within countries are not and will not be vaccinated from many reasons. Vaccines have only limited efficacy declining in time and they don´t prevent transmission or even full blown disease in some cases even now.
This is a perfect recipe for breeding new escape and resistant variants – probably both at once, as is already evident in India or Brazil. The result will be more virulent strains, evading vaccines and infecting and hitting younger and younger subjects who would be protected by they innate immunity during a natural pandemic. Vaccinated will function as shedders of more virulent variants.
This is a recipe for disaster – especially once there won´t be enough resources for continuous vaccination or if it fails completely. Non-vaccinated and vulnerable vaccinated will be hit hard and the rest will follow sooner or later. The only solution will be a sterilizing vaccine or a very effective cure.
You may be correct. You say,
“Non-vaccinated and vulnerable vaccinated will be hit hard and the rest will follow sooner or later.”
This is a big issue, especially if the vaccine itself is a problem over a longer period of time. We could, in theory, end up with a “can’t win” situation with respect to vaccination.
Perhaps epidemiologist at the beginning should have simply said, “We recommend doing the best we can in finding suitable treatments. We will not head in the direction of a vaccine. The treatments will likely be a portfolio of treatments, aimed to some extent at the symptoms of the particular patient. They will need to be inexpensive, so that people can afford them.
But that is not the plan. The plan is to kill everyone. And to do it by using ‘vaccines’ to create deadly variants. The only way you can convince cattle to take a vaccine that most have no need for … is to frighten them. Fear overrides common sense.
Pictures of people dropping dead in the streets… actors in hospitals in Wuhan screaming ‘I can’t take it anymore’…. heaps of coffins…. (empty) field hospitals… and so on….
Treating Covid with a common drug does not inspire fear.
The MSM is simply loving the Indian crisis and the pics of massed Indians going up in ritual smoke, chaos, etc : but do we have a reasonable fatality rate for this supposedly awfully dangerous variant?
Lots of emotion, as always, but we need facts.
But the Hindus get reincarnated, you know. The Muslims don’t. I like it that way.
This might be of interest.

Perspective indeed. Thanks for that India chart.
I don’t know whether this Twitter chart will show or not:

India seems to be experiencing the same phenomenon that many other places have: A spike on new COVID-19 cases seems to take place at the same time as the spike in vaccinations.
Mongolia is interesting on that subject Gail, although we are only talking about small numbers.
Vaccination started around the 23rd February 2021.
It might be just another coincidence, but as you almost say, it’s the same phenomenon everywhere(maybe(think Inproportion2 covers most if you scroll through)).
@hillcountry, it’s nicely put together visually.
How’s the search on real treatments going?
The prevention side seems to have failed and will possibly prove far more deadly than its supposed adversary.
Still looking into it. Here’s an interesting one published in December, 2020.
COVID-19: The Ivermectin African Enigma
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7968425/
“Overall, the reasons are not clear, yet present data suggests that a mass public health preventive campaign against COVID-19 may have taken place, inadvertently, in some African countries with massive community ivermectin use”.
But that hypothesis would instantly remove the need for experimental treatments, wouldn’t it?
I’m now thinking back to the so obvious and blatant(now retracted) Lancet article at the start of this farce about HCQ.
We all knew it was coming but I’m personally disappointed with the complete apathy I see all around.
How is it possible to teach such a disconnection to so many without question?
Thanks.
Simplest interpretation is the vaccinations cause the deaths.
Not much coverage of this in the MSM….

It’s too late baby, it’s too late…
There are over 1 Billion Trojan Horses stampeding around the world now….
Let the Cull begin!
Judging by the UK MSM, that by all accounts enormous march in London simply didn’t happen. Just erased – pure Soviet-style!
Media refused to cover protest march in London. 100 of thousands of people marching through London on April 24.
Yesterday was the March for Freedom in central London, following on from the one last month in London and Manchester. As a trade unionist and socialist I have been on many demonstrations in my time but this was the largest I’ve ever seen or participated in, with estimates of around 500,000 seeming very credible. London was completely brought to a standstill.
Naturally the lamestream media mostly failed to cover this huge demonstration, and when they did it was denounced as a rally of a few thousand covidiots and Q-Anon conspiracy theorists.

A number of U.S. states recently warned that they were running out of people willing to take a Covid vaccine. New reports suggest that a fairly significant proportion of Americans who have received their first dose of a vaccine are unwilling – or believe there is no need – to take a second. Reasons include a fear of the side effects and the belief that one dose offers enough protection against Covid.

Very helpful in breeding D-Covid.
Comentary on the near miss of the Israeli dimona facility.
Thefacility that is estimated to turn out 30 or so nuclear weapons a year.
That was from the defected dimona worker.
No one knows how many nuclear weaponsIsrael has.
Because they are not signatory to the nuclear non proliferation act.
The 1973 US army report estimated it at about 1000 nukes.
Putting israel right about third place in nuclear capabilites.
Or UK could take 3rd…
Israel is not going anywhere.
They will not ever be overrun regardless of troop numbers.
Not just nukes but delivery capability.
Of course Israel is a small bit of land a nuclear strike would be devastating.
If Iran was ever to attack Israel with a nuclear weapon.
Israel would turn western iran into glass.
They cant hit eastern iran and return even with in flight refuels.
Some one else would have to do that.
Or israel fly one ways.

Fast Eddy has no problem with Fake Moon Landings but for some reason believes Nuke Bombs are real. There is no evidence they work. Nagasaki and Hiroshima were fire bombed like Tokyo.
Even Cerberus can’t ‘go there’.
Can I ask if there is anything that you DON’T think it’s conspiracy?
I am not snarky. In the last year, I switched from accepting the Moon Landing as fact to becoming shocked on what a ridiculous hoax it is (after all NASA practically admits they have not done it).
Same with IX/XI – but here I have not read that much so I need more time to digest it.
That being said, I don’t think EVERYTHING is a lie – after all that would be too easy. I have to read about every question and then try to make up my mind. Of course some conspiracies don’t matter to me so I won’t waste my time.
That being said, nuclear energy seem to exist. I even dealt with it in college on a small level. So it doesn’t seem far fetched to believe that we can use it, just like we can use fossil fuels. So I won’t spend my time on it.
But people that automatically believe the opposite of the mainstream seem as deluded as people that believe everything without question. The opposite of a bad idea is usually another bad idea.
So how do you decide?
Thanks!
Nuclear energy for power use and nuclear energy for Armageddon-style earth destruction may be two very different things. But what do I know? I’m not an “expert” with a scientific background.
I lean towards the nuclear weapons scare as being another method of controlling the masses. They’ve been swinging that sword of Damocles over our heads for decades now:
“Russia could blow us up! North Korea could blow us up! Iran is secretly building a nuclear weapon!” etc.
Just say no to state-sponsored fear. “They” say nuclear weapons exist? “They” need to prove it.
“But, but, Azure… they did prove it! The Bikini Atoll tests, the Trinity tests, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, etc!”
For an interesting perspective on the nuclear weapons scare, I suggest you read the following articles:
“The Bikini Atoll Nuclear Tests were Faked”
http://mileswmathis.com/bikini.pdf
“The Nuclear Hoax”
http://mileswmathis.com/trinity.pdf
“So What is Really Going on behind the nuclear programs?”
http://mileswmathis.com/caes.pdf
“The National Reconnaissance Office”
http://mileswmathis.com/NRO2.pdf
Thanks for this Azure. I will read through them as time permits.
That being said, I have to say this is low priority for me. I already know that big conspiracies happen and are used to control the world. Would this change my life if it is real/fake? I don’t see how.
This goes back to my question above. I have too little time to determine the truth values of everything I read online. So in the end I apply a simple filter of : would this change my life?
Thanks!
Of course there are plenty of ridiculous assertions regarding conspiracies. I suspect many of those are planted by the PT Team … so that they can lump all conspiracies into one basket….. and say — look how ridiculous these people are
They could be real …. but then they could be fake…. I lean towards real — if you have evidence that they are fake then please do post it ….
I have been known to change my mind.
I am afraid that with all of our energy problems, we are headed for more Middle Eastern conflicts. If Syria can really hit a site near Israel’s nuclear facilities, this makes for a type of conflict that most people have overlooked.

New proposal to lower Medicare age to 50 could be a lifeline to millions
A group of 21 Democratic senators have reintroduced legislation in Congress to lower the qualifying age for Medicare from 65 to 50.
“When it comes to providing affordable health care for every American, there is more we must do right now to change the status quo, improve our health care system and lower costs,” said Sen. Tammy Baldwin, a Democrat from Wisconsin and one of the cosponsors of the bill.
Baldwin added that this legislation would give millions of Americans an option to “get the health care coverage they need at a price they can afford.”
Here’s what you need to know about the proposed reform and how to find affordable health coverage even if you’re nowhere close to age 50
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/proposal-lower-medicare-age-50-130000091.html
But the idea faces detractors in Congress.
And not just from Republicans — more conservative members of the Democratic party are likely to push back on any changes to the state-sponsored health system.
In response to Biden’s comparatively modest proposed changes, hospital communities argued that expanded health care could encourage more people to retire younger, which would negatively impact the workforce. They’re also concerned it would reduce the amount health care providers receive in reimbursements.
There is no free lunch…
Medicare for the elderly tends to lead to a lot of basically unneeded procedures, I expect. This is especially the case when physicians are reimbursed based on the number of procedures they do, since physicians are interested in maximizing their own income. I imagine lowering the age to age 50 will add to total procedures done for the 50+ age group.
We are already spending a huge share of GDP on healthcare. It would be strange to take an action which might push this percentage higher.
The banks are energy distributors.
They can distribute things that will have no value.
The creation of money is the dilution of the resources, if excessive.
some people have said that banks will not be the biggest future problem, because they “distribute” money, and unlimited digital money can be created on CB computers.
unlike real resources, which mainly come out of the earth.
it is probable that sometime in this decade, they will create too much money even as real resources are decreasing, and high inflation will dilute the amount of real resources that the average person can afford.
Lebanon and Syria and Venezuela were all somewhat prosperous 10 years ago.
high inflation seems to be the sign of imminent collapse.
And what if the money lose its value together with the assets it represents?
Isn’t it odd how Covid cases in India began a steep increase at the same time vaccinations began a steep increase. While the MSM invents a whole host of other reasons, they ignore the elephant in the room.

New federal regulations could spur cryptocurrency crash
Ask Wall Street’s C-suite types about cryptocurrencies, and they all admit they’re getting into them one way or another. But keep asking questions, and they’ll tell you something else, too: the market is ripe for a crash.
The crypto crash, according to top executives I’ve recently spoken with, could be happening right now with the recent slide in prices. Or it might occur next month or later this year.
Either way, the catalyst will be something the $2 trillion market for digital currency has thus far avoided: Serious regulation that will quash exuberance over crypto. Of course, many true believers in the digital space will scoff at anything traditional Wall Street says. The movement was created in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis as an alternative to the then-faltering Wall Street banking system.
Bankers like JPMorgan Chase’s Jamie Dimon were skeptical before embracing crypto and the decentralized blockchain technology it uses to verify transactions. With some fits and starts along the way, Bitcoin, the most popular cryptocurrency, rose to nearly $65,000 early this month, spurred both by speculation and investors looking for an alternative currency because pandemic money printing was debasing the dollar. Nothing, it appeared, could stop it from topping $100,000 before year’s end.
Then came rumors that crypto-hating Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen was about to go on a holy war against digital currency, causing a flash crash last weekend. And late this past week, on top of reports that President Biden is looking to hike capital-gains taxes for the rich, there were rumors that Yellen wants a jaw-dropping 80 percent tax rate for crypto. That helped send Bitcoin tumbling near the $49,000 mark on Friday.

Another key part – again agreeing with Bossche… the vaccines are creating more deadly versions of Covid….
https://youtu.be/ZJ0MYmKY8_U?t=8118
From, “COVID-19: Bill Gates hopeful world ‘completely back to normal’ by end of 2022 – and vaccine sharing to ramp up“:
“Pressed over whether he was still confident that the world would be ‘completely back to normal’ by the end of 2022, Mr Gates said: ‘Yes, I am.’”
– If we were in the middle of a genuine pandemic, would any virologist be this confident? Would any epidemiologist be this confident? How about any politicians? Boris Johnson? Joe Biden?
Gates: “There are still some questions about how broadly the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will get used, if that’s accepted it would be very beneficial but some of the rich countries including the US and the UK, even this summer will get to high vaccination levels and that’ll free up so that we’re getting vaccines out to the entire world in late 2021 and through 2022 and so, we won’t have eradicated this disease but we’ll be able to bring it down to very small numbers by the end of 2022.”
– Why is Sky News interviewing Bill Gates on the status of the “pandemic?” Why was Bill Gates interviewed at any time during the “pandemic” by any news outlet? He is a billionaire philanthropist with no medical background whatsoever. Yet, he sure seems to know a lot about the the trajectory of the “pandemic.”
Mr Gates said: “Because we didn’t practice, it’s clear that understanding variants and understanding how quickly you can do the regulatory stuff, when this comes up again, we could be a lot smarter.”
– That’s a fucking laugh. He helped fund and host a major practice event!
Event 201 Website:
“The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.”
Gates: “People didn’t invest enough in this risk… so I hope we keep in mind that we do need to invest and be ready for the next pandemic.”
– In other words, he’ll be wanting to extract more money from the various government treasuries of the world next time and, oh yes, you can be sure there will be another “pandemic” in the future.
Gates: “I’m worried that we’ll forget about it. The Ebola epidemic was the time I thought people would be interested and I was out talking about what we needed to do.
But he went on: “I do think because trillions were lost, that this generation will remember this.”
– Why does it sound as though no one in interested in what Gates has to say? He’s out “talking about what we need to do” and yet, for some reason, his message isn’t being taken to heart. He knows what needs to be done but it isn’t being done. Has the entire world gone mad? Is Gates the only person in the world who understands what is at stake? Or is it rather that his message is built on a foundation of lies and not enough people in power have been taking it seriously?
Thankfully, due to the trillions lost, this generation will remember this experience. They’ve been traumatized, impoverished and scarred by this experience, narrated by Gates, and will surely be more apt to listen to him going forward.

The good news is, folks, that the scamdemic will be winding down in the West in 2022. If we’re lucky, the flimsy rationale for lockdowns, mask wearing, social distancing, and “vaccines” will finally erode away. If the above comes to pass, I wonder how the early “vaccinated” will feel? Those eager and excited souls who rushed out to receive the experimental jab at their earliest opportunity? Will they have wished that they had waited instead? Will their “vaccination” seem sensible to them in late 2022 and beyond?
I just had a tradie here… he believes Covid is a total stitch up (he also believes this is going to end with the Second Coming … as I said I don’t rule that out…)
He had an interesting tale … his daughter is 12 and had to order 3 books from her book club…. she could only decide on 2 … so he ordered the third for himself…
The story involved a pandemic … and it centred on a group of deviant children who refused the vaccine… they were locked out of society and could only roam free in the ‘northern territory’ a sparsely populated region … they were hunted by the vaxxed…
Punchline — the book was written and he read it …. PRE- Covid.
Slightly odd…. maybe it was written by the same character who invented the Leak out of Canada.
I’m not surprised. To add to the known books that reference coronavirus prior to the scamdemic, take a look at this one:
“Asterix and the Chariot Race (French: Astérix et la Transitalique, ‘Asterix and the Trans-Italic’) is the 37th book in the Asterix series, and the third to be written by Jean-Yves Ferri and illustrated by Didier Conrad. The book was released worldwide in more than 20 languages on 19 October 2017 with an initial print run of 5 million copies.”
“The book received renewed media attention in 2020 amid the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (COVID-19) pandemic because the charioteer favored to win the race goes by the name Coronavirus.”

Wow – he is also calling this a biological weapon — in alignment with Bossche…
Dr. Richard M. Fleming is a Nuclear and Preventive Cardiologist, born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, USA. He attended the University of Northern Iowa and has degrees in Physics, Biology, Psychology and Chemistry. He attended the University of Iowa College of Medicine, Creighton University and the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. In addition to training in Cardiology he has special Certifications in Positron Emission Tomography. He was Board Certified in Internal Medicine in 1990 and Nuclear Cardiology in 1996.
He developed both the Unified Theory of Vascular Disease establishing “Inflammation” as the cause of coronary and peripheral vascular disease and the Quadratic Blood Flow Equation for Coronary Flow Reserve in the early to mid-1990s. He has published more than 50 papers in peer review medical journals, over 50 presentations at scientific conferences throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia, has authored 8 chapters in Medical Textbooks and written 3 independent books on Health Care.
He has served as Faculty and a Professor at various Universities and in 2003 received a Physician of the Year award. His current work on SPECT Cardiac imaging promotes the detection of Vulnerable Inflammatory Plaques (VIPs) through reductions in radiation dosage by using principles similar to the detection of black holes and dark matter.

He doesn’t mince words. He clearly states that those responsible for universal vaccination policy should be brought to court for violation of the Nuremberg code. A brave man, that’s for sure
If it shows up, please see my reply to FE on this subject.
We are all trying to figure out what is really going on which seems to be chaos. Everyone is fighting for a headline, once one has a headline if it should prove to be incorrect, defending that headline becomes the order of the day.
A best guess at present is humans have been around for a long time, they will continue to defy all efforts to end that reign, we are tough, we adapt very quickly – seems the old phrase, “the quick and the dead.”
Dennis L.
I also saw this criminal record on google, but I confess it didn’t even cross my mind that it could be the same person. Anyway, the fact that he was convicted in court tells us nothing about his medical or scientific skills, it just tells us that his honesty is, or was once, sub-optimal.
I only heard a small part of his two-and-a-half-hour video, and his hour-long conversation with Dr. Tenpenny. I confess didn’t like seeing him dismiss dr. Tom Cowan and dr. A. Kaufmann, calling them ignorants in a science of such flimsy foundations as virology, Otherwise he sounded to me like a knowledgeable person. (But truth be told, for an ignorant in microbiology like me, even a duck with a stethoscope around its neck may sound knowledgeable!)
Of all species that have existed on Earth, 99.9 percent are now extinct.
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/evolution/extinction/massext/statement_03.html
Given humans are actually the stoooopidest species to ever exist (before you get all uppity in FE…. name a species that uses a finite resource to stop die-back causing massive overshoot…)… we are the best candidate to go extinct… and we have not been around very long at all.
Ah, maybe a bit of research on Fleming’s background.
“United States Attorney Joe W. Stecher and the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the Federal Bureau of Investigation announce the following information for the attention of the media:
Event Triggering this Release: Dr. Richard M. Fleming was sentenced today in Lincoln, Nebraska, by the Honorable Richard G. Kopf to five years probation with six months home detention, including electronic monitoring, and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $107,244.24 for the felony offenses of health care fraud and mail fraud. Fleming pled guilty to those charges on April 23, 2009. Fleming lived in Papillion, Nebraska, at the time of the crimes, and now lives in Reno, Nevada. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in Missouri and Iowa, and as a part of his plea agreement in the case he agreed to a lifetime exclusion from participation in any federally-funded health care benefit program.”

So, FE, reply? Wow!
Dennis L.
Nice find there, Dennis. I wondered if he had some sort of leash. I went over to PubMed after listening to the first half-hour of his credits. Not one paper. Hmmmm. Somebody wants us spending 2-1/2 hours listening to this stuff about vaccines, versus what might we be spending our time doing? SOP for these kinds of distractions it seems.
Not a good sign. Even I have academic papers to my credit, and I have not been aiming in that direction.
He does sound very convincing, even more than the various ladies who have been researching the subject for a long time.
He’s no dummy… and is there anything he states in the interview that anyone disagrees with?
And if so on what basis?
I attended the University of Iowa College of Medicine graduating with High Honors including research on sodium (salt) and hypertension in patients, as 1 of 17 Honors students in Internal Medicine out of a class of 176. I have been blessed to be trained by some of the best physician-scientists in the world.
Following medical college, I completed my Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, and Cardiology Fellowship where I began publishing several research papers on QCA, diets and heart disease and trained in Nuclear Cardiology including both SPECT & PET imaging. I am one of three “certified” from the University in PET imaging following a one-year course of study on anti-matter PET cameras and instrumentation.
Following my post doc training I continued my investigation into the cause of heart disease and developed the Theory of Inflammation and Cardiovascular Disease in 1994, the theory that not only explains Heart Disease, but also explains Cancer and SARS-CoV-2; aka CoVid-19.
Most recently I obtained my law degree receiving the class award for Memorandum of Law. I have used this degree to assist in several Federal case filings including Civil Rights litigation and patent development. Prior to receiving my JD I attempted to address some of the problems with Big Pharma – an area of my life where I have met with my greatest failures, but which I continue to fight in an effort to expose what I consider to be moral wrongs. More on that in upcoming books!
Following 20 years of research I finally patented the Fleming Method for Tissue and Vascular Differentiation and Metabolism, which is the only non-invasive method available to quantitatively measure changes happening inside the body; changes that occur with heart disease, cancer, and CoVid-19.
As of 2020 I have been blessed to have been given the opportunity to conduct research for 52-years. Something I will continue to do and share with the scientific community and public.
I searched on PubMed and I found 20 papers, quite a few of them in areas Fleming would have written about. Nuclear imaging related to cardiac issues.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/?term=RIchard%20M.%20Fleming
How did you do your search? When I click through to these papers, the full name is Richard M. Fleming.
He seems to have worked in the cities of North Bellevue, Omaha, and Papillon, all in Nebraska, early in his career. More recently he works in California.
I wonder if the person with a criminal record is someone who happens to have the same name as Fleming. It wouldn’t make sense for the Richard M. Fleming we are acquainted with to be licensed in Missouri and Iowa.
I did find some articles with photos, and it does look like it is indeed the correct Richard M. Fleming.

I know that there are some doctors who do a strange combination of things. For example, my father knew one doctor in the area who drove at far above the speed limit in a fancy car as he commuted between places he saw patients. I think he also had some drug/alcohol issues.
Some doctors seem to think that they can do almost anything and get away with it.
Dr Fleming also writes a lot of books for sale on Amazon for $5.95 or $9.99 (Kindle versions).
https://www.amazon.com/Dr.-Richard-M.-Fleming/e/B08NGY2YZK%3Fref=dbs_a_mng_rwt_scns_share
I know a dapper doctor who was/is an alcoholic who lost his license because he was operating on people while intoxicated and when he saw patients… apparently some of them complained. I think he was also making inappropriate moves on the attractive female patients.
A friend met up with another medic – consultant level – to buy some antique books from him: half were on medical science, valuable classics.
But the other half were on satanism and black magic.
‘One of my interests’ he said, when surprise was politely expressed……
oops – I put “Dr.” in front of Richard M Fleming
There’s a little more to it than that. It would be interesting to hear more of Fleming’s side of the story.
https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2018/09/28/2018-21210/richard-m-fleming-denial-of-hearing-final-debarment-order
Reading between the lines, it seems that Fleming claims that he used “safer procedures” than the ones he billed for.
“Fleming timely responded to the proposal to debar and requested a hearing. Fleming’s response included multiple documents in which he raises variations of two central arguments, namely that: (1) His guilty plea “does not state a crime” and (2) he is “actually innocent.” Fleming contends that his guilty plea was a “holographic plea” to protect his children.”
I’d already seen that… and when I did … unlike you … I asked myself … if Gail had been convicted of a crime at some point in her life… would I dismiss OFW as a heap of rubbish?
Of course not. Only a f789ing MOREon would.
And only a f789ing MOREon would dismiss Fleming — particularly if one had read Bossche and Bridle — who’s views align with Fleming.
Oh I heard Bridle has a DUI and Geert frequents gay bath houses and engages in orgies with 18 yr old boys… should their views be dismissed?
And people wonder why I run the bus over MOREons on a regular basis… (then back over them just to make sure)
Good from this point

The importance of blocking the nuclear import of viral proteins emerged when it was later shown that IVM also prevented replication of HIV (36). As such, it surfaced as a possible repurposed drug, capable of preventing viral cargo from interacting with IMPα/β for nuclear import, with the potential to result in viral ‘death’ (21, 36).
Soon after, the effect of IVM against the nuclear import of viral proteins was further validated. For example, IVM prevented nuclear translocation of nsp5 in Dengue virus, West Nile virus, and influenza and inhibited transport of large tumor antigen (T-ag) in simian virus (25, 37, 38). The Wagstaff et al., 2011 and 2012 studies were pivotal in providing much of the initial rationale for the recent consideration of IVM as a SARS-CoV-2 antiviral agent. In fact, it was the same researchers who nine years later, in 2020, demonstrated that IVM inhibits SARS-CoV-2 in vitro replication (8)
Health Ranger posts new microscopy photos of covid swabs, covid masks and mysterious red and blue fibers
(Natural News) What follows is a series of microscopy photos of covid swabs (a synthetic swab, then a cotton swab), a covid mask and some zoomed-in photos of mysterious red and blue fibers found in the masks.
The magnification range for these photos is 50X to 200X. Most were taken with white light, but several (as indicated) were taken with UV light.
The images shown here are 600 pixels wide. We have higher resolution images available to researchers and indy media journalists; contact us for those hi-res images.
More microscopy investigations are under way, and new images will be posted as they are finalized.

What Cannot Continue Will Stop – 3 Moments in Time:
2007 – I can recall the price of oil ripping through $147… and seeing information on liar loans and all that jazz…. and buying gold in anticipation of total mayhem in the global economy…
2019 – I can recall German industrial numbers plunging… auto sales particularly in China … marching downwards every month for nearly a year… I could sense something big was imminent .. and I accelerated the bucket listing….
Present — this Covid Lie must be resolved fairly soon — protests are starting to gain steam… and there are many countries that are on the cusp of economic implosion … whatever the agenda is with Covid … the end game must be imminent … otherwise we collapse into total mayhem…
For the third time in nearly 15 years… I find myself thinking of Herbert Stein…
“Stein propounded Stein’s Law, which he expressed in 1986 as, ‘If something cannot go on forever, it will stop’.”
the above comment suggests a clear lack of self-awareness of a continuous misinterpretation of reality since 2007 (actually 2008).
meanwhile world population continues to increase by about 200,000 per day.
oh look, 2022 is just around the corner.
We are getting closer to 2024 which if I remember was in one of your BAU thought lines David. Hopefully the wheels stay on though it does mean we are steamrolling the environment with them. Oh well……..
2025 bAU would be amazing! 😉
Lets hope so …..I don’t know about $200 plywood, studs at $20 a piece..gallon of milk at $10 oil at $90 etc…because that is where we are going with BAU….OH yeah! I forgot starter homes at 1 million!! Yep 2025 …..bring it on!
Shurley you can’t be serious.
but really, you’re on the right track.
decreasing net (surplus) energy leading to high inflation of essentials (deflation of non-essentials until they are very scarce) and resulting in massively high unemployment until the entire system collapses.
IF that’s the general trend, then we are seeing the small beginnings of the inflation/deflation stage.
IF that stage is full blown by 2025, then the devastating unemployment stage will follow in the latter part of this decade.
or sooner!
we’ll see.
bAU minor uptick in inflation tonight, baby!
Something very big.

Column: Instead of vaccine passports, issue mandatory ‘I’M SELFISH!’ T-shirts to those who refuse shots
I would love a COVID-19 vaccine passport. After more than a year in full or partial quarantine, I’m so happy to be vaccinated I want to get the words “FULLY” and “VAXXED” tattooed on my butt and run naked through the streets. (Don’t worry, I won’t. America has suffered enough.)
Unpfortunately … sorry, that’s a side epffect opf the Pfizer vaccine … unfortunately, vaccine pride is not as prevalent as it should be, and a sizable swath of the population prefers to poo-poo the one thing that can lead us out of a pandemic that has killed more than 550,000 Americans.
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden announced that at least one shot has already gone in the arms of more than half of all U.S. adults. More than 80% of citizens 65 and older will be fully or partially vaccinated by Thursday.
“This is an American achievement, a powerful demonstration of unity and resolve, what unity will do for us, and a reminder of what we can accomplish when we pull together as one people to a common goal,” Biden said.
That made me dream of high-fiving people and encouraging others, in person, to get butt tattoos. But we still can’t do that, because the country needs more people vaccinated before things can return to marginally normal.
And on that point, we most definitely are not pulling together “as one people to a common goal.” A Monmouth University poll released April 14 found 43% of Republicans say they’re unlikely to get the vaccine. That contributes heavily to the 1 in 5 Americans overall who say they won’t get vaccinated.
The reluctance to get a vaccine that scientists around the globe have declared safe and wildly effective — a borderline modern-day miracle — is likely driven by that same 43% of Republicans having verbal sewage pumped into their ears by a parade of opportunistic anti-science nincompoops on Fox News. (I’ll bet you most of those nincompoops were first in line to get themselves vaccinated.)
The hesitant-to-get-vaccinated are also up in arms over the idea of a vaccine passport, I guess because of “tyranny” or some other incorrect but scary sounding word. The fear seems to be that the federal government will get involved in people’s medical decisions and records, even though there’s no plan for any form of federal involvement.
https://www.chicagotribune.com/columns/rex-huppke/ct-vaccine-passports-vaccinations-covid-biden-anti-vax-huppke-20210422-m6ahpnxfxnarzfwab6in7io6cm-story.html?fbclid=IwAR1O-HYRwmQsMpMAEU6Fz85hMTK1HPjesDU53PWgZbsjFae-SDFOLUzXy_U
The only reason I can think of for this author using emotional, belligerant language in an article espousing the supposed scientific consensus around the safety of these various vaccines, is ultimately the author’s fundamental insecurity.
Why else would you take a multitude of complex issues- both medical and ethical- roll them up into a ball of strawmen arguments and publish it through the Chicago Tribune?
That’s cute. Are we still pretending that major newspaper columnists are free and independent thinkers rather than absolute propagandists?
We need a ‘Vaxxine Pride’ flag!
And an annual march – or perhaps monthly. due to the death-rate and side-effects?
Children as young as 12 ‘will get Covid vaccines in September when they return after summer as government battles to avoid a third wave’
Children as young as 12 will get their coronavirus vaccines from September as they government tries to avoid a third wave, reports say.
‘Core planning’ documents have been leaked showing schoolchildren will be given one dose when they go back to class after the summer.
There are also reportedly plans for Britons over 50 to be given booster jabs in the autumn amid fears over Covid variants sweeping Europe.
It comes as experts say vaccines should be able to control the pandemic as they published new real-world UK data showing jabs slash infection and cut transmission.
A source told the Sun: ‘Plans are in place to vaccinate children aged 12 upwards, and senior government officials have been briefed.
‘Though controversial, it is deemed necessary to stop the UK regressing in its remarkable fight against Covid.’
Health officials are also said to be looking into jabbing children as young as five from July in a ‘worst case scenario’.
The leaked report shows the government’s contingency plan if the roadmap out of lockdown this summer leads to a surge in variants.
Children are less likely than the elderly to be severely impacted by the virus but can pass it on to those who are.

So what’s the deal — are they trying to say that you cannot pass it one if you are vaxxed but you can still catch Covid if you are vaxxed? Therefore if children are not vaxxed they can pass it on to granny?
Fortunately I saved this before it was removed:
If a person is vaccinated against COVID-19, will they still be able to spread the virus to susceptible people?
An ideal vaccine will stop everyone from carrying the infection as well as protecting them from becoming seriously ill. It is currently unclear whether the vaccine only protects against symptomatic and severe disease, or if it can also stop all infection, including asymptomatic infection (i.e. showing no symptoms).
If the vaccine is only able to stop the symptoms of the disease, but unable to stop the virus from infecting us and reproducing, then the virus may still be able to be spread.

Can anyone find the cut and paste on there? I definitely cannot.
And people believe this is not a Plan… Gawd….
Those who cannot see The Plan, at this stage, simply do not wish to see it…..
Yes … it is surely obscenely obvious at this point.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?
Through the wind and rain… I see Him… He hacks and slashes at the fence… It cannot be much longer… before He comes to relieve us of our misery to come… We shall not resist. We lay the children on the alter… as final sacrifices…. Mother wails… yet Mother smiles in acceptance… Her evil spawn… must be cast out. And all will be as it was. The Nightmare is nearly over.

“The results of the present study show that ivermectin is a promising drug candidate for treatment of GC [GASTRIC CANCER]. The results may indicate an alternative mechanism of action of ivermectin, i.e., inhibition of the WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway in mammals rather than it acts on glutamate-gated chloride channels, which are common in nematodes, insects and ticks, thereby paralysing pharyngeal and somatic muscles. As ivermectin is exceptionally safe for mammals because of the blood/brain barrier, further pre-clinical and clinical studies of repositioning ivermectin for GC are warranted.”

If ivermectin works for gastric cancer, perhaps it works for even more off label purposes.

This is an excellent video with Dr. Richard Fleming talking about the origin and treatment of COVID-19. The video includes short excerpts showing Dr. Ralph Baric the University of North Carolina talking about his Gain of Function research, and an interview with Peter Daszak. Dr. Fleming also has a long list of US government agencies (including the Department of Defense) contributing to funding for this research.
I have now watched the entire presentation …
I am not sure how any thinking person, after watching that, cannot believe there is a master plan being executed…
It may or not be what I have outlined in the CEP … but only a total MOREON would still believe that Covid just ‘happened’… and that there is no sinister intent with these vaccines.
There is a 100% false flag operation from beginning to end.
The fact that this was dropped just as the global economy was about to blow up + shale had peaked… surely has to indicate that Operation Covid has something to do with those events.
You do not blow the world up — unless it was already going to blow up.
You do not burn your house down – unless it was already about to burn down.

You quoted the poem above:

So what are you? I am really interested because I have questions and few people here are even able to entertain any questions, nevermind answering them.
And we wonder why 90% of the people just follow the herd…
What are you trying to say?
And btw – that line was from a Yeats poem… so I am quite chuffed that you thought I wrote it.

“It is therefore suggested that the clinical utility of ivermectin in the cytokine storm phase of COVID-19 reflects, at least in part, an anti-inflammatory effect mediated by increased activation of glycine receptors on leukocytes and possibly vascular endothelium. An evident corollary of this is that ingestion of high-dose glycine may provide somewhat analogous anti-inflammatory protection in COVID-19, as has previously been suggested.”
An anti-inflammatory effect of ivermectin would be helpful to show, as one way it might be helpful.

I think that the catch is with COVID-19 there is a need for multiple drug treatment, just as with HIV because the virus causes many simultaneous problems. Ivermectin can be one part of the treatment, but I don’t think it usually can be the whole treatment plan. I think that this is part of what is going wrong in proving that ivermectin works.
Dr. Fleming in his video “Masterclass on SARS-CoV-2” explains the need for many different kinds of drugs, simultaneously. For example, something is needed to keep the blood clotting down, especially if the person is on bed rest. Zinc is likely also needed. Whatever is used, needs to be part of a portfolio.
Dr. Fleming didn’t try ivermectin in his drug portfolio. It would be interesting if he could see if it helped the portfolios he came up with, before people got interested in ivermectin.
Oh, I thought you had seen the FLCCC charts.

Ivermectin is a part of a larger pre-existing protocol here in the US anyway, published since March-April 2020 called the MATH+ Protocol. It came about due to hard-won identification of what actually worked to save lives in early and later stages, including the ICU world:
Methylprednisone, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Thiamine, HEPARIN, Atorvastatin, Famotidine, Therapeutic Plasma Exchange;
Ivermectin was ADDED to the existing protocol in the October time-frame to create the IMASK+ Protocol, mainly due to the work of Dr. Paul Marik who read tons of RCT’s and other studies that were consistent in showing reduced deaths. Dr. Pierre Kory gives the blow-by-blow in the video above and describes the disinformation campaign being run by the WHO and various large interests. I think he does a decent job of that. These docs really have been on the “Front Line” in Covid Critical Care. I kept running into their trail over the last year. It took them awhile to get a decent internet presence.

Apologies for being slightly ‘off subject’ but the company Goldcore have just published an analysis entitled ‘The Coming Shortage of Oil’.
https://www.goldmoney.com/research/goldmoney-insights/the-coming-oil-shortage-part-ii
In their analysis (based mainly on non propriety data) they state (possibly correctly) that the major oil producers; BP, Exxon Mobile, Shell etc all have stated their determination to reduce production of oil significantly over the next few years. The oil producers are ‘Going Green’.
The authors further go on to discuss oil in relation to its use in transportation and plastics – and its decline in other use areas such as heating.
The article also suggests that the global population will continue to increase so I would ask, how can society support a growing population when oil production is being significantly reduced?
If you have a moment, your ‘actuary’s’ opinion would be appreciated!
I would take these bullion salesmen’s opinions with a grain of salt. Their primary focus is to make bullion sales. One thing is for sure, it will take more energy to mine PMs due to geopolitical/legal issues and/or declining discoveries and the fact that ore grades are decreasing. Steve St Angelo over at srsroccoreport.com has been spelling this out for years.
The legacy oil producers get the fact that exploring for oil and new production whether traditional deep wells, fracking, off shore etc are not profitable, but now appears they maybe jumping from the frying pan into the fire by “going green”, unless of course they have negotiated huge subsidies from the government, maybe on the basis of “national defense” as indeed, like all the weapons of war and soldiers, energy is vital to our defense.
I would agree. The fact that this analysis is on a website called “goldmoney.com” tells you what the authors are interested in.
The authors seem to come with a mixture of wrong ideas.
(1) The article starts out talking about the “coming supply crunch” with an expected future rise in oil prices pushing oil prices higher. I don’t think that any of this is necessarily in the future. It could be the debt bubble crash, the loss of jobs, and falling oil prices.
(2) “OPEC+ production is down because OPEC decided to do so.” This is exactly the way we would expect oil production to fall. It falls because prices are too low, not too high.
(3) ” Saudi Arabia for example, didn’t need to shut in production because it became uneconomical.” Actually, Saudi Arabia did need to shut in production, because it needs prices to be high enough to get enough tax revenue on the oil. Otherwise, the people will revolt.
You get the general idea. These people have the standard ideas about oil prices will spike and gold prices will spike. It is theoretically possible that this combination could occur, but I wouldn’t count on it.
I would add that the reason why oil majors are going the “green” route is because they think that there will be enough financial incentives this way for them. Oil prices have been, and likely will continue to be, way too low, so they can’t make money this way. They will head in the direction of promised subsidies. (If oil prices rise higher, food prices are likely to become even more unreasonably high for people in poor countries.) The catch is that the subsidies cannot last long, if fossil fuel production is no longer profitable. This is what provides the subsidies.
I think oil prices will rise higher in the short term. I have heard some on here think that we won’t have a debt crisis until 2023. If that is the case then there will definitely be a oil surge again. If all materials and labor are rising then why wouldn’t oil rise? I am already hearing that refiners are passing on extra cost to consumers. I am not saying that it will last long but I think we could see oil at the $90 to $100 range by July.
I think it was the high price of oil and materials that caused the last crash and it will do the same again.
Even a small rise in oil prices may be a problem (well short of $90 per barrel), especially if interest rates are higher as well.
Higher oil prices equate to higher food prices. They cannot really go up a lot.
“The oil producers are ‘Going Green’.”

Twenty years of immunocontraceptive research: lessons learned

PMID: 24437088
Abstract
The National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) began immunocontraception vaccine research by testing porcine zona pellucida (PZP) on white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus). Early PZP research demonstrated that PZP induced infertility; however, increased length of the rut was observed in PZP-treated deer. An alternative vaccine using a keyhole limpet hemocyanin-gonadotropin-releasing hormone (KLH-GnRH) conjugate formulated with modified Freund’s adjuvant was developed at NWRC. Suppression of GnRH has reduced reproduction in both sexes but is most effective in females.
This vaccine was effective in preventing contraception in female deer for several years after a prime and boost. Due to adverse side effects of Freund’s adjuvant, NWRC developed a new adjuvant called AdjuVac, a mineral oil/surfactant adjuvant with the addition of Mycobacterium avium as an immunostimulant. The price of KLH prompted a search for a more economical hemocyanin carrier protein for the GnRH peptide. Blue protein, derived from the mollusk Concholepas concholepas, proved to be a successful option. Formulation improvements resulted in a vaccine that can be effective as a single injection for multiple years, now called GonaCon.
GonaCon is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use in white-tailed deer in urban/suburban areas and for wild horses (Equus caballus) and burros (Equus asinus). Future GonaCon applications may include reducing reproduction to manage populations of other wildlife species, such as prairie dogs (Cynomys ludovicianus) in urban areas and suppressing reproduction to reduce the spread of venereal diseases such as brucellosis. Research is being conducted to develop a GnRH vaccine used in combination with the rabies vaccine to control population growth in free-roaming dogs, with the secondary effect of managing the spread of rabies. The EPA would regulate all these uses. Research is also ongoing on a GnRH vaccine to delay the onset of adrenocortical disease in pet ferrets (Mustela putorius), a use regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture.

> SNP tipped for Holyrood majority
Nicola Sturgeon has welcomed the results of a new poll which suggests the SNP are on track to win a landslide Holyrood election victory. The Survation survey, for the Sunday Post, found the First Minister’s party is on course to secure a majority with 67 seats, with the pro-independence Greens also set to almost double their seats from six to 11.
The results suggest Alex Salmond’s Alba Party will win just 3% of the regional list vote, which wouldn’t be sufficient to return any MSPs to Parliament. Curtice commented: “At the beginning of the campaign Nicola Sturgeon was concerned that Salmond’s Alba Party would eat into her party’s list vote. There is not much sign of that happening. Just 5% of SNP constituency voters are backing Salmond.” The First Minister remains Scotland’s most popular leader, with a net favourability rating of +16.

Interesting how the most common surname in Scotland is Smith. This speaks of the ethnic cleansings by the English settlers during the highland clearances. How many real Scots are there, in a land where most Scots speak MY language (English) and Scots Gaelic is barely spoken? I’ll bet even Mirror doesn’t have a Scots surname.

we’re here all week, folks.
Much of the Lowlands of Scotland was settled by Germanic tribesmen – ie the ‘English’ -and there was quite a lot of settlement from England and the Continent in the later Middle Ages boom of the 13th century.
Just as many people from Lancashire in North England have Continental blood, having been settled there to start skilled industry, such as making clogs. ‘Lancashire hot pot’, the famous dish, is of Dutch+Flemish origin.
We are all kith and kin in Northern Europe. Just toss in some Viking farmers and rapists for seasoning ……
With respect M, English is mainly a German language (a north sea German dialect that separated from the continental dialects, and closest to Frisian) with Roman (Italic, partly through the Normans) additions. You speak a mish mash of German and Italian.
The ‘English’ (a misnomer) are actually mainly of island Celtic stock, and Gaelic is ‘your’ original language, the same as the Scots, Welsh, Cornish and Irish.
Collectively, the original languages on this island are known as ‘Brittonic’, which is what you are, with minor German admixture. The other Brittonic Gaelic languages are the closest thing to your ‘own’ language.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brittonic_languages
The surname ‘smith’ is cognate with surnames of the same meaning that are widespread throughout Europe, and its present occurrence is often due to an ‘Anglicisation’ of a former name.
“English is mainly a German language”
I am well aware of that and proud of it. We Aryans came to put some steel and order into these originally Celtic lands. But now Nate says you are actually a chewboy, Mirror, so no wonder you hate us Aryan Anglo-Saxons! But now Fast will despise you, if he thinks you’re a chewboy.
But given that you think we are all basically Celtic, I do wonder why you wish to separate Scotland from its supposed cousins?
Anyway, I’ll let you get on with grieving for the talentless dead Bay City Rollers, lol.
Here’s a dreary Scot in comical Scottish dress, using my German-descended dialect to sing his maudlin lyrics to a tune stolen from the Italian composer Rossini. Homely kitsch.

Read it again, then get back to your whisky, Jock. 😉
Sorry your getting attacked like this Mirror.

Scotland has more Steppe ancestry (and Western Hunter-Gatherer ancestry) than England, anyway. England has higher levels of Near Eastern Neolithic ancestry. Likely England has experienced gradual migration across the channel.

The authors’ third objection concerns the increase of the genetic similarity of European population with that of the Yamnaya culture. This increases in the north of Europe and is weak in the south, in the places adjacent to the Yamnaya area, i.e. in Hungary. This gradient is clearly expressed in the modern population, but was present already in the Bronze Age, and hence cannot be explained by shifts that occurred in the Early Iron Age and in medieval times.
However, the supposed migration of the Yamnaya culture to the west and north should imply a gradient in just the opposite direction! It is precisely this paradox that has led to my suggestion to search for the source of the supposed impact in the north of Europe. My suggestion coincides with the long-noted similarity of a Cromagnon-like population in the northern European Mesolithic with the steppe population of the Early Neolithic and Bronze Age steppes, in particular with the Yamnaya. Researchers of the Ukrainian and Belarussian Mesolithic also advance archaeological hypotheses of this kind.

Now why did that bunch of rapacious primate pop up in the Lapland and cap of the north heartlands, of all places. One can only wonder. The primate crazies in warmer latitudes just couldn’t stop wicked perhaps? The mind boggles.

The British nationalists seem to be in the mood to don arm bands today. Whatever they think is electoral – lol. They exhibit zero capacity for politics. The only surprise is that the UK did not break up long ago.
“Whatever they think is electoral – lol.”
Meaningless. Anyway, I’m not a British nationalist – whatever that might be.
One of the major problems that Westminster has (by no means its only) is its inability to curtail its own ‘sleaze’, which has been completely out of control over the past couple of years since the Tories gained their majority.
Only the tip of the ‘sleaze’ iceberg is currently in the air, but more and more of it is now surfacing into the public and political realms.
Too many were content to wave union jacks and took their eyes off the ball. Cummings is about to explode the Boris administration, in any case. Westminster, cocksure, has become its own worst enemy.
> More than half of Scots believe Boris Johnson is ‘corrupt’
The Opinium polling for the Observer revealed 37 per cent of people across the UK think Boris Johnson is “corrupt”, rising to 53% in Scotland. Around the same proportion also view the Prime Minister’s party as “corrupt”, 38 per cent in the UK as a whole, and 52 per cent in Scotland.
On the James Dyson ‘texts for contracts’ affair, 55 per cent of people across the UK say the Prime Minister’s behaviour was “unacceptable” which rises to 65 per cent of Scots.
https://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/poll-more-than-half-of-scots-believe-boris-johnson-is-corrupt-3213286
Corrupt politicians. Well, I never! Meanwhile, wee Nicola only escaped by the skin of her teeth, because a fellow Celt (that Irishman) decided to believe her convoluted story. Plenty of Scots did not believe her story.
So far as I am concerned, Nicola is a Boris and Boris is a Nicola. End of story. They are both politicians, after all. What else can one expect?
The Tory ‘sleaze’ factor is compounded by the current weakness of Labour. Westminster is no longer able to provide oppositional checks on Tory corruption. That only reinforces the perception that Westminster is a weak, corrupt and dysfunctional system of government. Many on the ‘right’ have been very happy to see the demise of Labour, without any awareness of the ramifications of a system without a viable opposition.
> Poll shows even Labour voters think Nicola Sturgeon is better than Keir Starmer
The SNP have said Labour provide “no hope” of preventing a Tory government, with a new survey suggesting most party members have little confidence in Keir Starmer.
Polling by YouGov also found Labour voters believe Nicola Sturgeon is doing a better job than their own leader.
When asked what the most likely result of a General Election would be if it were held tomorrow, 84% of Labour members predicted the Tories would be in government.

The Sunday Times seems to be pretty confident that Ireland will unify in the near future. SF is likely to take the post of NI first minister in 2022, and will then campaign hard for the 2025 south elections. A border poll by 2030 would likely be long enough to let demographics take their toll on the vote. Scottish independence by 2025 would certainly add momentum.
> Demographics mean a united Ireland is inevitable — so we need to prepare
The 2011 census put the Protestant population of the north at 48 per cent, with Catholics at 45 per cent. Figures from 2016 show that among those of working age, 44 per cent were Catholic and 40 per cent Protestant. The split is even more marked in schools, with 51 per cent of pupils Catholic and 37 per cent Protestant. Even if Catholics do not reach a majority in this year’s census, they are likely to achieve a plurality. The next assembly elections in the north, due in the next 13 months, could well produce a Sinn Fein first minister.
This leads to several key conclusions. First, Irish unification is coming — it’s a question of when, not if. Second, a vote for reunification could happen fast. Third, the result of a border poll is tough to call with any certainty. There is a real possibility of a united Ireland by 2025.

The number of the men who are abused by their offspring has risen:
https://domov.sme.sk/c/22645673/stupol-pocet-muzov-ktorych-pocas-pandemie-tyra-vlastny-potomok.html?ref=trz
Google Translate:
“BRATISLAVA. The increase in the number of male victims of domestic violence during a pandemic is related to the fact that they are being abused by their own child – an adult. This was stated for TASR by the Prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office (GP) of the Slovak Republic Barbora Hubertová.
As she went on to say, the victim is often a senior who is dependent on help, provided by his own child. “Unfortunately, there are also women – daughters who are supposed to take care of their father or grandfather. It is also about economic violence, withdrawal of pension. In connection with a pandemic, a common modus operandi is an adult male son, a man in his fifties who has lost his job, lost his family or has never had a family. Due to the loss of income, he moves in with his mother, who has his own apartment, has a stable income in the form of a pension,” said the prosecutor.
As for women, they usually forbid mothers to go anywhere, lock them in the apartment, take money from them and cause them fear. “Today it is very simple because of a pandemic. When a senior abuses his own child, it is difficult for that person to come to the police and report it, and he still lives in the same household with him, it is his blood, the closest relationship. it announces something like that, so it must be really bad, and we perceive it that way.It is quite a big increase and sad are the very cases of what your own child can do to his parent, whether it is physical, economic or starvation violence “It’s terrible and it came from this time,” Hubert emphasized.
According to her, the violence perpetrated by women is mostly of a psychological and psychological nature. However, victims of these crimes rarely report it and the GP SR itself cannot actively seek them out. “Only if we find out about something. It doesn’t have to be from the whistleblower, but from family members, for example. Indeed, psychological violence is getting worse than physical violence, “Hubert added.”
Living in a society where there are not enough jobs that pay well to go around adds to this problem.
If the son or daughter could get a high paying job and pay someone else to take care of the ailing elderly person, there would be no problem. The son or daughter would like the benefit of the pension check of the elderly person. By locking the ailing person up, the child can maximize the share of the check he/she can get the benefit of.
Dr Charles Hoffe Reveals COVID Vaccine Carnage Of His Patients
https://www.bitchute.com/video/FJ0xxYQzhfrv/
Way too many bad outcomes. With respect to 900 people in a village vaccinated with Moderna vaccine, 1 died and 3 were (what looks to be) permanently disabled. No one will let the doctor speak out about the terrible result.
I recently checked the reported adverse events for the COVID vaccines for my country using the European EudraVigilence (the part that is accessible to the general public).
I’m Belgian: around 17/April, the system reported 175 events of which about 30% serious for Moderna, 1231 of which about 50% serious for AstraZeneca (which as since been stopped), and 1953 of which about 30% serious for Pfizer. Compared to 2 341 297 people who have had at least 1 shot at that time, this suggest a adverse reaction rate of 1:700, of which 1:1900 serious. Serious includes death or disability, or risk thereof and requiring immediate hospitalization. Unfortunately the publicly accessible part does not divulge the number of deaths, and so a number of very serious issues are probably getting lumped together with allergic reactions such as anaphylactic shock, which may be quite recoverable if properly managed.
That being said, i compared these numbers to the annual flu-shots, where only 275 adverse events were reported for the period April20-April21. Although the reporting system does not mention how many people have had the injections, it is not a far stretch to assume these will be mostly the same as where our current COVID vaccination program is : mostly elderly and medical staff. I found some confirmation of these numbers in the amount of flu shots that was ordered in Belgium (quoted by newspaper to be 3 million). So a very rough comparison would indicate adverse reactions are X12 higher compared to regular flu vaccins.
Can someone who believes in the theory of “leaky vaccines breeding deadly variants” explain why natural immunity + vaccines is supposed to be “leaky”, but natural immunity by itself isn’t? Thanks.
Here’s a simple line of reasoning.
The vax will cause the virus to mutate into a more lethal variant, “created” out of tailor made mRNA coding sequences for the beast mode ripper to emerge out of the soft endemic.
Staging it gives the “world” some time to adopt to the new “normal”.
What is missing now is copious amounts of dope, cringe tee vee and video games. Should keep them busy with hopium, escapism in and opiates.
And I am all smiles.
☺️
“What is missing now is copious amounts of dope, cringe tee vee and video games. Should keep them busy with hopium, escapism in and opiates”
The same legislators that favored locking people up for distributing and using drugs are now sanctioning safe injection sites and legal marijuana–all the while drugs possession and distribution is not legal. There are a few state sanctioned distributors of drugs but it’s illegal for most people to grow and sell drugs to each other.
television, like most media and most education has become blatant ruling class propaganda. Everything is political now. There is no escapism anymore.
There are illegal opiates. They have recently added legal opiates which you can now can get a prescription for. You can still shoot up until you overdose but now you have the option of doing it in safe supervised environment where you will be strongly encouraged to not overdose by a compassionate and caring staff of medical personnel .
In the USA marijuana will soon be legal with every state politician looking eagerly at the revenue. Marijuana can be a addictive drug especially with the THC concentations of 25% being sold where marijuna is legal. Thats 5 to 10 times the potency of illegal imported marijuana.
Marijuana is particularly damaging to adolescents, It does not help young minds develop to their potential.
Of the drugs that are available both licit and illicit marijuana is by far the least harmful both to the individual and society.
That doesnt mean that it changes you to a angel. I have known
“Gs” slangin and bangin who were chronic marijua users.
Where marijuana is legal it meets first with opposition from law enforcment then widespread approval. For one thing it makes their job safer. Domestic dispute at the trailer park. Most dangerous call for law enforcment. Traditionally alcohol involved. Marijuana… the dispute doesnt occur. If it does its far far safer for police.
While marijuana can and does cause motor vehicle accidents its use does not produce the recklessness of alcohol use.
Of course comparing marijuana abuse to alcohol abuse is not fair. Alcohol when abused is a horrible hell of a drug. Terrible on the body. Turning even the brightest into a stupid slob.
Marijuana is by far the best choice if one must medicate. Im not talking about the guy that has two beers twice a week. The terrible toll serotin uptake antidepressents have taken is realized by the generations exposed to them. Opioids, coca are their own forms of living hell. Their is nothing more unapealing than a drunk, The hallucinogens with their risks to the brain and the party drugs x ala mmda has even more deleterious effects to the brain.
Young people have been exposed to the ill effects of these substances. The smart ones that care about themselves but still want a recreational drug choose pot.
The risks with marijuana are more subtle. Attending a marijuana anonymous meeting can be interesting. What is expressed there is a profound sadness where decades have passed and potential was not manifested.
I know a lot of people who can not function without pot. They function quite well with it and harm no one. Are there problems? Sure. Short term memory loss is a big one. It doesnt stop them from holding jobs and taking good care of their kids. It is IMO far better than the big pharma alternatives. There are worse fates. The nightmare that was paxal…
My dad drinks a bottle of wine with his meal every night. He pretends its shared with my mom but she has only a mouthful.
That doesnt hurt anyone eithor i guess. A second bottle is never opened in one night. That would be unthinkable. As much as he is pretending that its “with the meal” he would not cross that line.
Putting people in jail for pot and $ in the hands of the cartels is dysfunctional in the extreme.
Bro.
The anthrax strain that was mailed suspiciously to skeptics of the war on terror was traced to a u.s. military lab. The story was curiously buried by the media and relegated as the work of a lone wolf.
good question, Al.
does anyone really know the answer yet?
“leaky vaccines breeding deadly variants”
let me go through some of what I’ve heard:
the history of viruses is that they ALWAYS mutate but the mutations are mostly in the direction of more contagious and usually less deadly.
human intervention to try to flatten the natural curve of the pandemic puts evolutionary pressure on covid to mutate into more contagious forms.
more deadly?
well, a vaxxed person can still get infected, so now the virus is inside a host which is trying to kill it off with “natural immunity + vaccines”.
so what happens then?
I don’t think anyone knows for sure yet, and especially there is NO PROOF yet that the mutations in a vaxxed person will definitely be MORE DEADLY.
but you make a good point, that “natural immunity” must also be “leaky”.
ps:
there is the idea that vaxxed persons who get infected by covid will not feel sick but will be spreaders/shedders.
so there is some reason to think that vaxxed people should be avoided.
I’m always open to hearing more opinions here.
since the science is very much not settled.
David,
thanks for giving me hope!
I almost stopped reading the comments because everybody seemed so set in their ways and talking past each other.
Just like you I have many questions and I am open to ideas.
JMG for example stopped posting about these issues but from his comments he seems to think this is all a cult/psychosis/group delusion/mass hysteria.
See the obsession with covering the face, permanent vaccinations and destroying the unbelievers.
He seems to believe that nobody is in control.
The question that I have is can the 100 or so people that own half of the world control it and to what degree?
I think that is the first step to understand what’s happening.
If it is possible that the “100” can conspire together then all possibilities are open.
What do you think?
hope eh?
that’s what I’m here for. 😉
it’s interesting that you suggest “the 100”.
first thought was that IF indeed they are about 100, then what is the chance that most of them would agree on a course of action? Quite low, I would think.
then what chance is there that they could come up with a somewhat perfect plan that would actually work?
after all, though it’s widely agreed that “they” are not dummb, they are not all geniuses (not Klaus and Bill et al), since making billions is also part luck (ask Mark Cuban) and part being sociowpathic or type A roothless misanthhhrope.
though, I could see The 100 almost all in agreement on forcing untested vaccines on most people, enough to get their precious economic growth back.
and though many or most of them might not care if millions die from the vaccines, it is a stretch to think that all 100 of them want billions to die.
it’s also a stretch to think that they can keep their plans hidden, IF indeed their grand plan is bumping off billions.
that being said, I would like more info on what vaxxed people are shedding or spreading.
what if vaxxed people are a severe danger to the unvaxxed?
I would like scientific answers.
(I’m feeling a strong sense of deja vu right now, but can’t pinpoint why.)
Yes, I have the same doubts as you but I disagree about this:
“though, I could see The 100 almost all in agreement on forcing untested vaccines on most people, enough to get their precious economic growth back.”
They could get economic growth back simply by dialing back the scaremongering. The countries/states/regions that have dropped the lockdown are doing fine (think China, Russia, Sweden, Florida etc).
I think Gail is correct that at least part of the reason for the lockdowns is controlled economic contraction.
When it comes to vaccines there are many possibilities but I have no idea why they are pushed so hard. I have became so cynical in regard to human nature that I do believe sociopaths would kill billions without any remorse. But is that what’s happening? The sea of disinformation is too cloudy to see.
I believe you’re very close to unveiling the scam, Nomadic. All you need is an extra dose of cynicism to your reasoning.
Thanks VFatalis – any ideas or pointers are appreciated!
Cypress seems to be invoking the vaccine passports — not clear if applies to grocery stores:
The government on Friday imposed a fresh lockdown for two weeks between April 26 and May 9 in a bid to stem the rapid spread of Covid infections, which are threatening to overrun the island’s health system.
The lockdown will be lifted on May 10 but visiting crowded venues will require negative Covid tests or being vaccinated or having gone through the illness inside the past three months. Venues include catering, places where people gather, gyms, retail outlets, theatres. It was not immediately clear if it included supermarkets as well.

Looks like European banks aren’t doing very well.
The banks are short on capital. The proposed solutions are the following. One widely discussed one is that they will impose negative interest rates to force people to spend money. The other one, is eliminating cash and introducing a digital currency with an expiration date to force people to spend money. China and is testing the second proposed solution as I type this post.
The digital currency idea will make it much easier to impose UBI, and to control consumption. Sustainability and cutting carbon emissions will simply become a matter of restricting what people can buy with digital legal tender.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is calling on the federal government to close all non-essential travel to Canada as 36 cases of a new COVID-19 variant were confirmed in the province.

This is an outstanding presentation … be sure to watch to the end as he does a Q&A and mentions his friends wife miscarried 7 months into her pregnancy … the day after receiving the ‘vaccine’

Perhaps the branch wasn’t strong enough for the heft of her desires and delusions. Something’s gotta give when an unstoppable force clashes with an immovable object.
The presentation comes across as more suitable for those new to the subject than some others.
Oxygen
When we look at the human species from the point of view of energy production, we are oxygen dependent. Our ageing is the inevitable consequence of the oxidative stress. It is the use of oxygen that gives us so much energy in comparison to anaerobic energy production of simpler cells.
From this point of view, the coronavirus is a big choke to the human species. It perfectly fits into the limits to growth story and it could.not be made artificially, as such oxygen limiting device in the form of the virus is what really curbs the human population: strangling it.
https://youtu.be/SsvlNS7BE78
This video is about the crisis in India, with all of its COVID-19 cases. Now India is running out of hospital beds and oxygen for the hospitals.
I know that in the US, a lot of patients who need oxygen supplementation (not for COVID-19) use oxygen concentrator devices at home. I know India’s electric grid is not the best, but it would seem like some oxygen concentrator machines might help. even at home.
https://www.verywellhealth.com/top-portable-oxygen-concentrators-915001
What exactly is your rationale for arguing that the virus couldn’t be artificially engineered ?
Let me guess: money, hierarchical pressure, or both.
That video is pure BS propaganda.
Nietzsche seems to have an energetic interpretation of the cosmos and of its ‘evolution’, not entirely dissimilar to that of Eric Chaisson.
> The sole way of maintaining a meaning for the concept “God” would be: God not as the driving force, but God as a maximal state, as an epoch – a point in the evolution of the will to power by means of which further evolution just as much as previous evolution up to him could be explained.
Regarded mechanistically, the energy of the totality of becoming remains constant; regarded economically, it rises to a high point and sinks down again in an eternal circle. This “will to power” expresses itself in the interpretation, in the manner in which force is used up; transformation of energy into life, and “life at its highest potency,” thus appears as the goal. The same quantum of energy means different things at different stages of evolution. – TWTP 639
Almost correct: “transformation of energy into life”
However, not quite. The correct interpretation being:
“Transformation of mineral into complexity using energy.”
The perpetual cycles continuously operates to wield out the cruft. The processes of complexity generation isn’t perfect and is subject to local minima.
A half-conscious rapacious primate breed simply cannot wrangle themselves out of their origins. It is the myopia of ordinary, pettiness and cruelty cranked to 11.
As for Nietzsche and that other yahoo: All hat and no cattle. A simple observation of nature combined with rudimentary knowledge of evolution suffices to any child worth his salt. But don’t let my observations let you down.

Yes, Mr. Holy Oats, I am familiar with your moralistic denunciation of life, and yet yours just goes on and on – a bit like your mouth offs. : )
Hopefully you will stick around, in spite of your negative evaluation of human life and of your own, as you are perhaps actually sightless less obnoxious than many other cortex primates.
My advice would be for you to get into some nature and art, maybe ‘redeem’ the world in the senses. Go hiking in the summer. Plant some trees. Get some fresh air and blue sky – human existence really is not that bad.
There is no objective standard by which to evaluate it, anyway. Get over it and get into it. A creature that is averse to itself is simply a sick creature – but you can fight your way back to health.
Take responsibility for your own life, your own self. Get up off the miserable behind and get out and abroad. Let the valleys echo with song.
Mirror, never confuse the oat munching court jester of rapacious primate monkey business with the message.
A bit more than gloom and doom is swirling about in the hallucinations between the deaf ears and myopic eyes.
I can take interest in all sort of awful stuff and wield it to the logical conclusion. As for feeling depressed? No, not really. I guess the truth is a powerful anti depressant for me. The perpetual hopium and delusion inducing narratives. Now that is depression in its purest essence.
Perhaps Laplanders, (former pastoralist ancestry?), doesn’t care that much by nature. What do I know. It is what it is, process.

‘Complexity’ is just the marshalling of the force that is oneself. Complexity arises in the presence of energy to marshal in order to prevail over other dissipative systems – to order them to oneself or to neutralise them in their effect on one, in the forceful competition of existence. Force and existence are synonyms. ‘Moral’ posturing otherwise is just a strategy of the same, another attempt to marshal force to one’s own benefit.
> The connection between the inorganic and the organic must lie in the repelling force exercised by every atom of force. “Life” would be defined as an enduring form of processes of the establishment of force, in which the different contenders grow unequally. – TWTP 642
China and Russia to win the energy game?
> Perspectivism is only a complex form of specificity. My idea is that every specific body strives to become master over all space and to extend its force ( – its will to power:) and to thrust back all that resists its extension. But it continually encounters similar efforts on the part of other bodies and ends by coming to an arrangement (“union”) with those of them that are sufficiently related to it: thus they then conspire together for power. And the process goes on. – TWTP 636
Force is the centre of life and its endurance. The cosmos is force in the evolution of its material forms – and the process goes on.
You are confusing force, as in physics. F=ma with chemical and biological processes.
Complexity arise out of inorganic matter as a property of self-replicating molecules its mutations plus time, mineral and energy. There is no “force” or “will” associated with a process that ingests energy, raw material and spits out evolved complexity.
It is completely illusory and an attempt to attribute “life” onto a process. The process of evolution is completely mindless, however, it outputs life and complexity. That is the brilliance of it. It is timeless, brainless, while you and I aren’t.
We are it’s output, whoever we are makes no difference, perpetually broken documents in time that emerges and wimpier away in the process of mindless complexity generation.
But it is okay. It is what it is. For a little while. The universe is vast, a boundless entity where all combinations of chemistries and processes spontaneously emerges and eventually extinguishes, perhaps devolves to simpler life forms in the wait of a fresh start.
If you feel entitled to describe the humanoid shenanigans as a “good” outcome of these processes, well, you are free to do that. However, I would argue that a defiance against evolutionary principles results in early inevitable extinction of the species in question.
They might scurry around and give each other and their children as much of an unfair advantage as they desire. It won’t change the fact that it’s mere existence entails failure, an obstinate objection against the very process that governs all life.
I wish to take no part in these expressions of futility. I have no patience for folly during my brief existence.
I did not actually say any of that, so I am not going to respond.
And your constant hostility to life rather begs the question – why don’t you just kill youself and do yourself, and maybe the rest of us, a favour?
Presumably you find life ‘good’ in some way. Otherwise why do you continue with it?
You say that you ‘wish to take no part in these expressions of futility’. So why are on you on OFW pushing your negative, nihilisic, life-denying drivel?
Are you just a coward, who cannot bring himself to end it all? And you have nothing better to do than to post your constant suicidal garbage on here?
Either do it – or shut up about it.
You say that you would not wish life on kids – so why do you wish it on yourself? And why do you wish to impose yourself on others?
Do you really just want to make everyone as miserable as yourself? Is that the only ‘power’ that you have left? To spread your misery?
I will be honest, I would not choose to associate with you – and I doubt that anyone does either.
I will be honest that I find absolutely nothing positive in our exchanges, and I have asked you to desist from replying to me before. If you think that I have any desire to share your misery then you are wrong.
So, practice what you preach – and leave me alone.
First; you are confusing existence with life. Cogito ergo sum.
Second; I have nothing against my own existence. However, once BAU start to go from the mundane and absurd to atrocious. I will reconsider that.
Third; putting children into an overpopulated world with upcoming finite world issues is obscene.
Fourth; could you calm down when people is of different opinion? Learn to enjoy disagreements. I might be pulling your leg, as you are pulling mine from time to time.
Fifth; I am not miserable. What makes you think that? Again confusing the oat munching court jester with the message.
Sixth; I sincerely appreciate our exchanges. I am saddened to hear that my opinion causes you to feel bad. Would you rather have me lie to you?
Seventh; you might find my descriptions of objective reality unsettling. But so far I have not read anything from you that shows me being wrong.

Pathogen evolution in a vaccinated world
Andrew Read, Alumni Professor in the Biological Sciences & Director, Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics at Pennsylvania State University, visits the ASU Center of Evolution, Medicine and Public Health, to lecture on the subject of Pathogen evolution in a vaccinated World.
Every single person on Earth need to take coughing-19 vaccination shots every six months to keep up with the viral evolution of coughing-19. The reason everyone needs to take several vaccine shots a year is because the vaccines are probably creating more virulent and lethal strains of the virus. The more virulent and leathal versions that will be selected for by the vaccines will be much more lethal to the un-vaccinated than the current strains in circulation. If this is true, why don’t experts who believe in vaccinations just say this?
I think that there is a real difference of opinion on how this will work out.
Viruses often evolve to “spread more easily” but be less lethal. Quite a lot of COVID-19’s change to date has been in this direction. The virus in Wuhan seemed to be very lethal (unless we were being purposely misled). Outside of China, much of the evolution has been in direction of “spread more easily.”
A different way that viruses could evolve is in the direction of infecting people that we would normally expect would have better immune systems, such as children or people with high vitamin D levels. Even this wouldn’t necessarily raise mortality rates, if the people with high immunity levels still could fight it off easily.
If there are a lot of vaccinated people, in theory, a version of the illness could evolve that would affect the vaccinated very lightly, but would affect those without vaccination very badly. If this type was able to predominate, this type of virus could be very harmful to the unvaccinated.
There have been several massive vaccination campaigns since the Industrial Revolution began. Are you saying this has NEVER happened? There has never been a virus that a vaccine has been made for, for humans, that has affected the humans with the vaccines lightly but was absolutely lethal to those unvaccinated?
I’m not picking on you, Gail. The question is open to everyone.
We already know the Covid and flu vaccines are “leaky” which means they do not stop the virus from replicating in the human body . We know that there’ s a high percentage of people who will take either the flu or Covid vaccines. It looks like the learned men and women of science are creating a situation that would allow these viruses to evolve into something stronger. The long term effect is that they will make huge swaths of the population dependent on biological technology to stay alive.
Civilization seems to be a lot about creating dependencies and crushing any actual resilience these days.

I think vaccinations were good for the real endemic diseases where humans had very limited immunity. Vaccinations for those kind of diseases stopped the pathogens from replicating in humans.
The flu vaccines and the coronavirus vaccines don’t fit that mold. They are more like antibiotics that don’t kill all the bacteria.
The threat of pathogens is real. They bpass the blod brain barrier in severe infections. Scientists have theorized a lot of our junk DNA is from viruses that colonized the human DNA.

The MSM insisted Saddam had WMD.
The MSM insists humans are boiling up the world.
Repetition = propaganda
If there are a lot of vaccinated people, in theory, a version of the illness could evolve that would affect the vaccinated very lightly, but would affect those without vaccination very badly. If this type was able to predominate, this type of virus could be very harmful to the unvaccinated.
Actually … if we look at Marek’s… the virus mutates in the vaccinated chickens and they need a new vaccine down the road otherwise they die to….
Also as Bossche asserts — we have never tried a leaky vaccine during a pandemic … because it is massively risky… yet we are doing it right this very moment …. so perhaps the virus will mutate and kill both the vaxxed and the unvaxxed….
There must be some reason we are giving an experimental vaccine to 8B people … most would experience covid as a harmless cold… and almost none of the healthy people would die…
It’s not because Fauci and Friends are stupid…
Let us not forget — this was just around the corner at the end of 2019… https://www.quora.com/What-would-the-world-be-like-if-society-collapsed
The Marek’s situation reminds me of stories I’ve read in the past about native tribes in South America needing to keep some distance from “civilized” people as they could become sick from the interaction.
My general impression has been that human beings living closer to nature tend to be healthier on average than those that live in urban environments.
Then there’s the story of Hernán Cortés achieving his victory over Aztecs in 1521 with the aid of a smallpox epidemic that wiped out much of the native population.
The people who claim to “Follow the Science” are attempting to scrub any mention of “herd immunity” i.e. immunity from natural selection from multimedia. Science, like in MANY modern regimes, has become highly politicized.
In 2019 the effect of trade wars were being felt. The global economy was failing and it needed a way to restructure without causing too much of a stir. Protests were underway in MANY countries around the world. The idea for lockdowns seem to come from the U.S. and were accepted without challenge globally.https://www.aier.org/article/the-2006-origins-of-the-lockdown-idea/
What is being attempted now is BAU lite. Many people on OFW did not believe it was possible but that is what global civilization under the lockdowns is. They are hoping OPENLY that this emergency situation can be extended indefinitely as the “New Normal” or restructure everything as a “Great Reset” .
There were a couple of people commenting in the OFW comments in the last ten years who believed a great reset would be attempted by the elites and now it is being attempted.
No one thinks its bizarre that international discussions about reducing carbon emissions and shifting to unproven sources of energy is strange during the lockdowns. There is more talk about reducing emission than sharing resources during a pandemic!
Fauci and friends are not stupid but they know most people are stu pid.
They expect to fool everyone into not seeing a prolonged period of controlled economic contraction. Most people will not notice there will be less goods and services available and everything will be blamed on on the pandemic.
In the long term, vaccines will be unavailable and we will see the effects of viruses that have been vaccinated against on the entire human population. I think we already know what will happen.

Creating dependency of biotech makes us all potentially dependent on biotech to survive. Without modern vaccination, most children will die from previously “eradicated” diseases. Diseases that are allegedly eradicated have not gone extinct, they simply have become asymptomatic.
Perhaps realistic, but…
People also adapt, it is why we are here and it is why we will make it Nature rearranges the chairs on deck every so often, it is perhaps a or the law of the universe.
You may well be right on vaccinations, I am old enough to have had chicken pox, measles, mumps, and maybe more. No vaccine, I am fine, immune system is still fighting it out on a daily basis.
There is too much doom here, the world will end for all of us, we all die; it is the journey in between. I come here to see ideas on what tomorrow may look like and adjust as necessary. FE may drive his car into a wall, me, perhaps look at his address, go to his house and see what else is available for transportation; he would be grateful to have it recycled.

Excellent comment, Nope.avi.
“Creating dependency on biotech makes us all potentially dependent on biotech to survive.”
This is the problem I have with the “elites'” planned economic contraction based on a fake pandemic. If the injections and subsequent “booster” shots are an attempt to make us dependent on biotechnology, how is that sustainable? We’re talking about interfacing our bodies with the latest technology which is undoubtedly among the least “green,” sustainable technology you could imagine. Just think of the costs required for R&D, supply chain management, temperature controls for “vaccines,” etc. How energy intensive is all that?!
So, as “they” are downshifting the world into “BAU lite,” “they” are at the same time attempting to put in place a massive biotech infrastructure (e.g. mRNA “vaccines” and “booster” shots or “upgrades,” digital passport systems, testing and tracing systems, etc.) – in short, a biotech prison planet.
How long will they be able to maintain this global biotech prison? How much energy will it require? It would seem to be a massive resource drain – even if they can make all of us give up our cars and sit at home on our hands all day collecting UBI.
You forgot one part:
A 2010 Oxford University study predicted that production will peak before 2015. … Phibro statistics show that major oil companies hit peak production in 2005. Fatih Birol, chief economist at the International Energy Agency, stated in 2011 that “crude oil production for the world has already peaked in 2006.”

THOUSANDS of anti-lockdown protesters TAKE OVER central London (VIDEOS)
Thousands of protesters have descended on London to protest the British government’s ongoing coronavirus restrictions. Though pubs and shops have reopened, stiff limits on gatherings remain in place.
Holding signs reading “Freedom is non-negotiable” and “No health passports,” the demonstrators gathered in the capital on Saturday. Billed by its organizers as the “biggest street party London has ever seen,” the rally drew thousands of participants unhappy with the lingering restrictions on gatherings and movement, and opposed to the government’s vague plans to introduce so-called ‘vaccine passports’.
Actor and mayoral candidate Laurence Fox, who has promised to do away with Covid-19 restrictions entirely if elected, was an enthusiastic participant. Posting videos of hordes of people marching through the streets, he decried the “total corruptstream media blackout” of the protest.

Better hurry up with that… before too many people wake up…
US vaccination sites are closing from California to Texas, Ohio to Mississippi as demand for Covid shots plummets across the country – despite less than 28% of the population being fully inoculated
At least seven vaccination sites across the U.S. are closing amid falling demand for COVID-19 shots.
A Kaiser Family Foundation report warned this week that the U.S. is approaching a ‘tipping point’: most people who were eager to get vaccinated already have been.
As of Friday, just shy of 42 percent of Americans – and nearly 53 percent of adults 18 and older – have had at least one dose of vaccine.
More than 35 percent of adults are fully vaccinated, or about 27.5 percent of the population.
Some 20 percent of the U.S. population is considered ‘vaccine hesitant.’ It’s not entirely clear what is driving the current drop-off in daily vaccination rates ahead of the U.S. reaching 80 percent of eligible people getting vaccinated – but it seems to be widespread.
After rising to more than three million a day for at least a week, the seven-day rolling average of daily vaccinations is now below that figure, according to data from both Bloomberg and the CDC.
Some of the sites, like a mass vaccination site at Cal State in Los Angeles, California, were only slated to be open for an eight-week window after being installed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
But others, like a mass vaccination site in Summit County, Colorado, are closing voluntarily and earlier than expected due to ‘decreased demand’ for vaccines.
Closures are also happening in Ohio, Nevada, Florida, Texas and California.
Meanwhile, officials in Kansas and Mississippi are asking federal officials to send them less vaccine.
All of these states are seeing declines in the number of vaccinations being given a day.
In most of these locations – and nationwide – daily Covid infections have fallen precipitously since the vaccine rollout picked up pace in January.
But in recent weeks, those declines have slowed, in a similar trend to the pace of vaccinations. Some places have even seen moderate increases.
In Ohio, where a mass vaccination site in Mercer County is set to close on May 7, the New York Times reported.
Officials there told the times that just 27 percent of adult residents of the county have had at least their first doses.
