Back in 2005, the world economy was “humming along.” World growth in energy consumption per capita was rising at 2.3% per year in the 2001 to 2005 period. China had been added to the World Trade Organization in December 2001, ramping up its demand for all kinds of fossil fuels. There was also a bubble in the US housing market, brought on by low interest rates and loose underwriting standards.

The problem in 2005, as now, was inflation in energy costs that was feeding through to inflation in general. Inflation in food prices was especially a problem. The Federal Reserve chose to fix the problem by raising the Federal Funds interest rate from 1.00% to 5.25% between June 30, 2004 and June 30, 2006.
Now, the world is facing a very different problem. High energy prices are again feeding over to food prices and to inflation in general. But the underlying trend in energy consumption is very different. The growth rate in world energy consumption per capita was 2.3% per year in the 2001 to 2005 period, but energy consumption per capita for the period 2017 to 2021 seems to be slightly shrinking at minus 0.4% per year. The world seems to already be on the edge of recession.
The Federal Reserve seems to be using a similar interest rate approach now, in very different circumstances. In this post, I will try to explain why I don’t think that this approach will produce the desired outcome.
[1] The 2004 to 2006 interest rate hikes didn’t lead to lower oil prices until after July 2008.
It is easiest to see the impact (or lack thereof) of rising interest rates by looking at average monthly world oil prices.

The US Federal Reserve began raising target interest rates in June 2004 when the average Brent oil price was only $38.22 per barrel. These interest rates stopped rising at the end of June 2006, when oil prices averaged $68.56 per barrel. Oil prices on this basis eventually reached $132.72 per barrel in July 2008. (All of these amounts are in dollars of the day, rather than being adjusted for inflation.) Thus, the highest price was over three times the price in June 2004, when the US Federal Reserve made the decision to start raising target interest rates.
Based on Figure 2 (including my notes regarding the timing of the interest rate rise), I would conclude that raising interest rates didn’t work very well at bringing down the price of oil when it was tried in the 2004 to 2006 period. Of course, the economy was growing rapidly, then. The rapid growth of the economy likely led to the very high oil price shown in mid-2008.
I expect that the result of the US Federal Reserve raising interest rates now, in a low-growth world economy, might be quite different. The world’s debt bubble might pop, leading to a worse situation than the financial crisis of 2008. Indirectly, both asset prices and commodity prices, including oil prices, would tend to fall very low.
Analysts looking at the situation from strictly an energy perspective tend to miss the interconnected nature of the economy. Factors which energy analysts overlook (particularly debt becoming impossible to repay, as interest rates rise) may lead to an outcome that is pretty much the opposite result of the standard belief. The typical belief of energy analysts is that low oil supply will lead to very high prices and more oil production. In the current situation, I expect that the result might be closer to the opposite: Oil prices will fall because of financial problems brought on by the higher interest rates, and these lower oil prices will lead to even lower oil production.
[2] The purpose of the US Federal reserve raising target interest rates was to flatten the growth rate of the world economy. Looking back at Figure 1, the growth in energy consumption per capita was much lower after the Great Recession. I doubt that now in 2022, we want even lower growth (really, more shrinkage) in energy consumption per capita for future years.*
Looking at Figure 1, growth in energy consumption per capita has been very slow since the Great Recession. A person wonders: What is the point of governments and their central banks pushing the world economy down, now in 2022, when the world economy is already barely able to maintain international supply lines and provide enough diesel for all of the world’s trucks and agricultural equipment?
If the world economy is pushed downward now, what would the result be? Would some countries find themselves unable to afford fossil fuel energy products in the future? This might lead to problems both in growing and transporting food, at least for these countries. Would the whole world suffer a major crisis of some sort, such as a financial crisis? The world economy is a self-organizing system. It is difficult to forecast precisely how the situation would work out.
[3] While the growth rate in energy consumption per capita was much lower after 2008, the price of crude oil quickly bounced back to over $120 per barrel in inflation-adjusted prices in the 2011-2013 time frame.
Figure 3 shows that oil prices immediately bounced back up after the Great Recession of 2008-2009. Quantitative Easing (QE), which the US Federal Reserve began in late 2008, helped energy prices to shoot back up again. QE helped keep the cost of borrowing by governments low, allowing governments to run larger deficits than might otherwise have been possible without interest rates rising. These higher deficits added to the demand for commodities of all types, including oil, thus raising prices.

The chart above shows average annual Brent oil prices through 2021. The above chart does not show 2022 prices. The current Brent oil price is about $91 per barrel. So, oil prices today are a little higher than they have been recently, but they are nowhere nearly as high as they were in the 2011 to 2013 period or in the late 1970s. The extreme reaction we are seeing is very strange. The problem seems to be much more than oil prices, by themselves.
[4] High prices in the 2006 to 2013 period allowed the rise of unconventional oil production. These high oil prices also helped keep conventional oil production from falling after 2005.
It is difficult to find detail on the precise amount of unconventional oil, but some countries are known for their unconventional oil production. For example, the US has become a leader in the extraction of tight oil from shale formations. Canada also produces a little tight oil, but it also produces quite a bit of very heavy oil from the oil sands. Venezuela produces a different type of very heavy oil. Brazil produces crude oil from under the salt layer of the ocean, sometimes called pre-salt crude oil. These unconventional types of extraction tend to be expensive.
Figure 4 shows world oil production for various combinations of countries. The top line is total world crude oil production. The bottom gray line approximates world total conventional oil production. Unconventional oil production has been rising since, say, 2010, so this approximation is better for years 2010 and subsequent years on the chart, than it is for earlier years.

From this chart, it appears that world conventional oil production leveled off after 2005. Some people (often referred to as “Peak Oilers”) were concerned that conventional oil production would reach a peak and begin to decline, starting shortly after 2005.
The thing that seems to have kept production from falling after 2005 is the steep rise in oil prices in the 2004 to 2008 period. Figure 3 shows that oil prices were quite low between 1986 and 2003. Once oil prices began to rise in 2004 and 2005, oil companies found that they had enough revenue that they could start adopting more intensive (and expensive) extraction techniques. This allowed more oil to be extracted from existing conventional oil fields. Of course, diminishing returns still set in, even with these more intensive techniques.
These diminishing returns are probably a major reason that conventional oil production started to fall in 2019. Indirectly, diminishing returns likely contributed to the decline in 2020, and the failure of the oil supply to bounce back up to its 2018 (or 2019) level in 2021.
[5] A better way of looking at world crude oil production is on a per capita basis because the world’s crude oil needs depend on world population.
Everyone in the world needs the benefit of crude oil, since it is used both in farming and in transporting goods of all kinds. Thus, the need for crude oil rises with population growth. I prefer analyzing crude oil production on a per capita basis.

Figure 5 shows that on a per capita basis, conventional crude oil production (gray bottom line) started declining after 2005. It was only with the addition of unconventional oil that crude oil production per capita could remain fairly level between 2005 and 2018 or 2019.
[6] Unconventional oil, if analyzed by itself, seems to be quite price sensitive. If politicians everywhere want to hold oil prices down, the world cannot count on extracting very much of the huge amount of unconventional oil resources that seem to be available.

On Figure 6, crude oil production dips in 2016 – 2017 and also in 2020 – 2021. Both the 2016 and the 2020 dips are related to low prices. The continued low prices in 2017 and 2021 may reflect start-up problems after a low price, or they may reflect skepticism that prices can stay high enough to make continued extraction profitable. Canada seems to show similar dips in its oil production.
Venezuela shows a fairly different pattern. Information from the US Energy Information Administration mentions that the country started having major problems once the world oil price started falling in 2014. I am aware that the US has had sanctions against Venezuela in recent years, but it seems to me that these sanctions are closely related to Venezuela’s oil price problems. If Venezuela’s very heavy oil could really be extracted profitably, and the producers of this oil could be taxed to provide services for the people of Venezuela, the country would not have the many problems that it has today. The country likely needs a price between $200 and $300 per barrel to allow for sufficient funds for extraction plus adequate tax revenue.
Brazil’s oil production seems to be relatively more stable, but its growth has been slow. It has taken many years to get its production up to 2.9 million barrels per day. There is also some pre-salt oil production just now getting started in Angola and other countries of West Africa. This type of oil requires a high level of technical expertise and imported resources from around the world. If world trade falters, this type of oil production is likely to falter, as well.
A large share of the world’s oil reserves are unconventional oil reserves, of one type or another. The fact that rising oil prices are a real problem for citizens means that these unconventional reserves are unlikely to be tapped. Instead, we may be dealing with seriously short supplies of products we need for operating our economies, including diesel oil and jet fuel.
[7] Figure 1 at the beginning of this post indicated falling energy consumption per capita. This problem extends to more than oil. On a per capita basis, both coal and nuclear energy consumption are falling.
Practically no one pays any attention to coal consumption, but this is the fuel that allowed the Industrial Revolution to start. It is reasonable to expect that since the world economy started using coal first, it might be the first to deplete. Figure 7 shows that world coal consumption per capita hit a peak in 2011 and has declined since then.

Many of us have heard about Aesop’s Fable, The Fox and the Grapes. According to Wikipedia, “The story concerns a fox that tries to eat grapes from a vine but cannot reach them. Rather than admit defeat, he states they are undesirable. The expression ‘sour grapes’ originated from this fable.”
In the case of coal, we are told that coal is undesirable because it is very polluting and raises CO2 levels. While these things are true, coal has historically been very inexpensive, and this is important for people buying coal. Coal is also easy to transport. It could be used for fuel instead of cutting down trees, thus helping local ecosystems. The negative things that we are being told about coal are true, but it is hard to find an adequate inexpensive substitute.
Figure 8 shows that world nuclear energy per capita is also falling. To some extent, its fall has stabilized since 2012 because China and a few other “developing nations” have been adding nuclear capacity, while developed nations in Europe have tended to remove their existing nuclear power plants.

Nuclear energy is confusing because experts seem to disagree on how dangerous nuclear power plants are, over the long term. One concern relates to proper disposal of spent fuel after its use.
[8] The world seems to be at a difficult time now because we don’t have any good options for fixing our falling energy consumption per capita problem, without greatly reducing world population. The two choices that seem to be available both seem to be far higher-priced than is feasible.
There are two choices that seem to be available:
[A] Encourage large amounts of fossil fuel production by encouraging very high fossil fuel prices. With such high prices, say $300 per barrel for oil, unconventional crude oil in many parts of the world would be available. Unconventional coal, such as that under the North Sea, would also be available. With sufficiently high prices, natural gas production could be raised. This natural gas could be shipped as liquefied natural gas (LNG) around the world at great cost. Additionally, many processing plants could be built, both for supercooling the natural gas to allow it to be shipped around the world and for re-gasification, when it arrives at its destination.
With this approach, food costs would be very high. Much of the world’s population would need to work in the food industry and in fossil fuel production and shipping. With these priorities, citizens would not have time or money for most things we buy today. They likely could not afford a vehicle or a nice home. Governments would need to shrivel in size, with the usual outcome being government by a local dictator. Governments wouldn’t have sufficient funds for roads or schools. CO2 emissions would be very high, but this likely would not be our most serious problem.
[B] Try to electrify everything, including agriculture. Greatly ramp up wind and solar. Wind and solar are very intermittent, and their intermittency does not match up well with human needs. In particular, one of the world’s primary needs is for heat in winter, but solar energy comes in summer. It cannot be saved until winter with today’s technology. Spend enormous amounts and resources on electricity transmission lines and batteries to try to somewhat work around these problems. Try to find substitutes for the many things that fossil fuels provide today, including paved roads and chemicals used in agriculture and in medicine.
Hydroelectricity is also a renewable form of electricity generation. It cannot be expected to ramp up much because it has mostly been built out already.

Even if greatly ramped up, wind and solar electricity production would likely be grossly inadequate by themselves to try to operate any kind of economy. In addition, at a minimum, natural gas, shipped at very high cost as LNG around the world, would likely be needed. Also, huge quantity of batteries would be needed, leading to a short supply of materials. Huge quantities of steel would be needed to make new electrical machines to try to replace current oil-power machines. A minimum 50-year transition would likely be needed.
I am doubtful that this second approach would be feasible in any reasonable timeframe.
[9] Conclusion. Figure 1 seems to imply that the world economy is headed for troubled times ahead.
The world economy is a self-organizing system, so we cannot know precisely what form changes in the next few years will take. The economy can be expected to shrink back in an uneven pattern, with some parts of the world and some classes of citizens, such as workers versus the elderly, doing better than others.
Leaders will never tell us that the world has an energy shortage. Instead, leaders will tell us how awful fossil fuels are, so that we will be happy that the economy is losing their usage. They will never tell us how worthless intermittent wind and solar are for solving today’s energy problems. Instead, they will lead us to believe that a transition to vehicles powered by electricity and batteries is just around the corner. They will tell us that the world’s worst problem is climate change, and that by working together, we can move away from fossil fuels.
Again, the whole situation reminds me of Aesop’s Fables. The system puts a “good spin” on whatever frightening changes are happening. This way, leaders can convince their citizens that everything is fine when, in fact, it is not.
NOTE
*If the US Federal Reserve raises its target interest rate, central banks of other countries around the world are forced to take a similar action if they do not want their currencies to fall relative to the US dollar. Countries that do not raise their target interest rates tend to be penalized by the market: With a falling currency, the local prices of oil and other commodities tend to rise because commodities are priced in US dollars. As a result, citizens of these countries tend to face a worse inflation problem than they would otherwise face.
The country with the greatest increase in its target interest rate can, in theory, win, in what is more or less a competition to move inflation elsewhere. This competition cannot go on indefinitely, however, because every country depends, to some extent, on imports from other countries. If countries with weaker economies (i. e. those that cannot afford to raise interest rates) stop producing essential goods for world trade, it will tend to bring the world economy down.
Raising interest rates also raises the likelihood of debt defaults, and these debt defaults can be a huge problem, especially for banks and other financial institutions. With higher interest rates, pension funding becomes less adequate. Businesses of all kinds find new investment more expensive. Many businesses are likely to shrink or fail completely. These indirect impacts are yet another way for the world economy to fail.

The Daily Mail says Putin dun it. I would have assumed it was the latest booster. But with the way the Western media is pushing Putin, I think it may will have been an MI6 or CIA hit.
One clever commenter on the Mail wrote: “Coming up to Christmas, Minsk Spies are not good for you!”
Or quite possibly the Ukrainian Mafia. They tend to be pretty ruthless.

Bruce Arians Won the Super Bowl with Tom Brady, but Is Losing to the Covid Vaccine
The Tampa Bay coach who loudly pushed for his team to get vaccinated is another victim of mRNA vaccine-induced myocarditis, a top cardiologist says.
It is ironic that some of the most vigorous promoters and strongest voices for covid-19 vaccination in public view have also felt the bite of vicious side effects such as heart inflammation. Former NFL coach Bruce Arians has been known for his slogan “No risk-it, no biscuit,” which encourages aggressive play calling. When he was asserting in the press that all of the Tampa Bay Bucs and staff were fully vaccinated in 2021, little did he know he was going to risk his cardiac biscuit with probable covid-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis a year later.

Satellite Imagery Shows Extensive Destruction Of Ukraine Power Grid

According to the article:
I see a horrible humanitarian disaster in the making.
On a visit to a Caribbean island my host, newly arrived, showed off his generator. No power outages for him. Leaving for dinner we saw his house had the only lights in the neighborhood. Returning later, the house was dark and the generator gone. Lights in Ukraine=target.
I expect that will ultimately be a target everywhere.
Along with solar panels. Actually why take the panels when you can just move into the home.
I expect the nicest homes with the most renewable energy features will become the bases of new local leaders. Leaders who have a flexible view of ownership and a hands-on approach to dispute resolution.
Yes, being 20 years into building a self sufficient house in the Melb burbs, I often wonder if the local warlord will appreciate the subtle touches in 50 years
I thought self sufficient house was a cave?
So you require not outside inputs for this house? I assume you have solar – what happens when the inverter breaks… or batteries stop holding a charge… what about all the appliances? What do you do with your trash? Where does your water come from? What do the people in the house eat?
excellent article on renewable energy

Solar panels and bullets don’t mix…
Food becomes a problem when the super markets go empty — people rip each other’s faces off for the remaining cans of beans… they kill people who have gardens – rip out the plants (if they make to harvest) and eat the animals…
What does one eat while one waits for a new crop to be planted if the bad guys don’t kill and eat you?
Militarized police will kill the thieves
They’ll kill the owner as well … but then they’ll run out of diesel and food.
Attention Doomie Preppers!!!
Chimney smoke… the sound of chopping wood … a garden …. a barking dog… chickens pigs cows goats… any sign of life….
Will attract desperate people who have one goal – to stay alive at all costs.
How do you defend a farm? Got guns? Ok – so you fire a few shots at the approaching mob — hark – noise! — someone must be defending a farm…
More desperate people head your way.. They wait till dark … then they charge into your garden tearing up your food — they snatch your animals…
Come morning you survey the carnage… the eyes are now on your main house.. they’ll figure out you must have food stores in there…
Oh damn you forgot to build the moat and fill it with crocodiles!!! never mind they’d only kill and cook the crocs… then cross the moat at night when you are sleeping – or can’t see them … cuz darkness.
Word of the day – Futile. Can a doomie use that in a sentence?
Of is it too difficult to utter that word?
Somehow, some people, somewhere are going to make it through the narrow place we are going through now. I hesitate to say that any approach will not work. Maybe someone has ideas I haven’t thought about.
We know who makes it through. The strongest will, just as always.
There will still be some food and some people who get to eat it. Those people will eat because they have killed their competitors. If they didn’t kill them, everyone would die.
And the ponds?
And the ponds?
Sabine Hossenfelder says nuclear waste is no problem; dry cask it and bury it. Simples!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDUvCLAp0uU
She’s a bit sketchy on how to do this using only wind and solar.
Actually, I did meet someone earlier this year who told me the UK government were buying up old potash mines to bury the nuclear waste in. Maybe the Elders have it all in hand?
How many thousands of times do I need to repeat this before it sticks?
You cannot cask fuel for at least 5 yrs after it’s loaded into a pond. So what about all that fuel that’s loaded in during that 5 yr period?
Casks are not permanent solutions – they require monitoring — and maintenance.
Sabine Hossenfelder is a f789ing ret ard if she can’t work this out without FE’s help.
Hoolio has offered to breed the bad genes out of her
Oh and mountains don’t block the plumes of radioactive junk that gets released… that’s an old MORE-ONS tale…
And the ponds?
Dump it in the deep sea.
I agree with you (FE). In a fast collapse scenario, there is no way to deal with the spent fuel in the pools and we go extinct. And if disposing of the waste were easy (read cheap/not resource intensive), we’d be doing it already. It amazes me how someone as intelligent as Sabine Hossenfelder fails to see this.
She’s a circus animal…
I agree with withnail. There are lots of solutions on the fly. I bet here in Russia it would take a few months to convert a nuclear icebreaker, load the rods there, cool with salt water along the way, and dump everything in the Marianne Trench. Bad solutions? Da. But a lot better than having 1200 chernobyls. The Russians, somehow, do not seem to have a spent fuel problem.
The only people with a chance are the remote tribes — they know how to survive without BAU.
Everyone else starves… cuz whatever there is to eat will be savagely pillaged… and they won’t survive till they can grow another crop… and then there is the fact that the people who pillage will not be farmers … they will be hard men …
The problem is food – there quickly won’t be any
Notice I didn’t even mention the ponds… well now I did
There will still be rats and other vermin. Enough to make it through to harvest if you can find enough wood to cook them.
There will be a lot of rats once the sewage system breaks down and the cholera starts.
Hahaha… ok …
For tomorrow’s task — capture some rats… skin them … and boil them in a pot … then eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner every day for a week — if you don’t off yourself ….cuz post BAU you’ll be eating that for nearly a year as you await the harvest… with some cockroaches and other bugs for variety — then you pass and get your Doomie Prepper level 2 badge.
possums, coons, dogs….lots of excess dogs around, squirrels, fish
Who wants to volunteer to eat possums coons etc… maybe try eating bark and grass like they do in North Korea? Sounds like an amazing adventure hahaha.
And btw — big game like deer… they will disappear deep into the forest once they realize it’s hunting season year round.
Then of course… The Ponds.
There are various ways to serve rats and roaches. Ratatouille, rat kebab, fired rat in mango sauce, rataatouille, roaches on a stick, fried roaches in mango sauce, cockaleekie soup…
On second thought, fasting to death might not be so bad after all. And let the rats and roaches eat my remains.
Doomies have more fun by living a bit longer though. Our extra days of BAU mean we’re the winners baby!
See the early episodes of The Walking Dead for how to best deal with zombies.
Hands up if you’d rather die in a ball of fire than fade away eating twigs and bugs.
Be careful what you wish for…
When the bad guys come … they’ll do what bad guys do when there are no cops or courts…
They’ll skin the doomies alive … they’ll rape and rip and tear and rape some more then boil what’s left of your doomie carcass in a pot with some salt and peppah ..
And eat you…
And those extra days will be spent in terror as you wait for the bad guys to come and do this to you.
Super Fent… keep it handy
If there were a just God, he would have ignored the prayers of the people who are less likely to contribute to the advancement of civilization.
Because God, or whatever you prefer to call him, listened to their voices we are in this crisis.
Civilisation does not advance. Humans do not advance. There is no progress.
Perhaps it is all just archons feasting on the futility of it all. Humans in conflict provides a more robust banquet than lions eating a buffalo.
If this is a soul trap then best advice is don’t go toward the light.
“November 25, 2022 ISTANBUL: Turkey’s central bank said on Thursday it had cut its main policy rate for the fourth consecutive month despite high inflation.

No one surfs the fine knife edge between powers with more finesse than Erdogan, now cashing his cheques drawn on Qatar being support in recognition of supporting Dohha for the couple of years MBS blockaded the Sheikdom
“Turkey and Qatar are in the final stages of talks for Doha to provide up to $10bn in funding for Ankara, including up to $3bn by the end of this year, according to two senior Turkish officials …
“Turkey’s central bank already had in place a swap deal with Qatar’s central bank, which was originally worth $5bn but was tripled in 2020 to $15bn.”

“Turkey is also in the final stage of talks with Saudi Arabia over Riyadh placing a $5bn deposit at the Turkish Central Bank, a Saudi finance ministry spokesman said on Tuesday.”

For such an internationally indebeted nation, Erdogan, to my mind is playing a maverick game with the currency which reminds me of the unorthodox anti IMF stance taken by Mahathir Mohamad during the 1997 Asian “Contagion” which worked at the time (nothing like having a massive petroleum reserve and the corresponding benefit of a trade surplus). Almost three decades later Malaysia’s currency is one third the rate of Singapore – they were roughly at par – but this could be the price of having a corrupt keptocracy siphoning off the billions.
Since Jan 2020 the Turkish Lira has lost two thirds of its value, less rapidly this year, but no relief for private debtors with offshore denominated liabilities. The chart shows a very volatile exchange rate with a clear trend
Meanwhile, right across the other side of Iran, in IMF obedient Pakistan,
“The State Bank of Pakistan announced on Friday that it had increased the interest rate by 100 basis points (bps) to 16 per cent to curb inflation …
The MPC noted that amid the ongoing economic slowdown, inflation was “increasingly being driven” by persistent global and domestic supply shocks that were raising costs.”

Two different mindsets. Much analysis proposes that conventional monetary policy cannot impact supply-side inflation. Turkey, is not alone amongst nations currently reducing base rates, but it may be with respect to the slim levels of foreign currency reserve. We saw in priviledged Malaysia how the elite borrowed USD billions through a federally guaranteed and owned govt enterprise and then stole swathes. Billions vanished leaving slime trails all over the Middle East and HK. meh BAU
GO IMF!
Lots of approaches to try to solve the problem.
I wonder how long the IMF and all of its debt can last. This page tells how the funding for its loans comes about.

This is a sheet giving quotas and votes. It looks like funding and management is widely distributed. Even so, it is hard to see how the system can keep going, if an increasing share of the countries are in default.
What will the coming years bring? What will become of me? Will there be a dignified exit?
Get to meditating and get rid of everything that owns you. Be kind when you can but expect abuse. It might add some dignity to your exit but death is invariably messy. I will ponder taking my own advise.

Following a rapid life review and period of revelation ya’ll get soul dropped into the next avatar and reawaken into this shockingly realistic soul growth medium some call “ life”.
Be you human, or another that creeps, crawls or flys.
Not to worry though, if you don’t ever grasp that you are more than meat and bone the gates will soon close and you will be granted that for which you aspire.
The demiurge desires it, the oversoul will allow it.
It is IMO, better to avoid conversations with the former, it thinks itself better than it is.
According to your theory, is there a way out of the cycle of forgetting?
It appears intrinsic to the program. Soul maturity appears to require suffering and loss. Hard to achieve this if the avatar remembers that this experience is not real.
Flashes of memory apparently do occur not infrequently. Review child reincarnation literature. It is rather vast and often very poignant.
High level spiritual adepts can recognize the multiplicity of their lives I am told. Possibly hallucinogens can help plumb the depths also.
When the simulation ends, those who are allowed to leave the construct obviously achieve enlightenment in some fashion. The rest, dissolution into whatever truly makes up reality.
We never know what is going to happen in the next 30 years, even we are young people, born when resources per capita were more plentiful than today.
The Universe is full of amazing coincidences that seem to have allowed the Earth to have life on it, and humans to live on it. If any Higher Power could have made this to happen, the Higher Power certainly could create a heaven (perhaps in a different dimension), as well.
We need to live each day the best that we can. Even if there is not a heaven, we still have the joys that we can find every day in the world. We need to be looking for them and be thankful for them.
I am not sure what a dignified exit is. People dying after years and years of cancer, and treatments for cancer, are about as bad off as anyone I can think of, in their dying.
JMGs latest response to questions clearly place his stance into that of recurrent reincarnation. Higher soul sleeps while “ life sims” occur.
He is quite matter of fact about it,…… all the while discounting rapid Seneca style collapses.
Quite refreshing to hear. ( While I assume rapid collapse will/is occuring) as I have followed his writings for decades now.
Imagine 8B without electricity — freezing — in the dark — hungry — angry.

More inflation/deflation:
Black Friday Sales: Down by observation, not data, but consistent.
https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/consumer-economy-has-completely-collapsed-its-ghost-town-holiday-shopping
Consistent with TM and discretionary spending.
So discretionary spending declines, industries supplying this stuff decline and the question might be rate of decline and energy usage ratios. If discretionary causes energy used for this spending to decline, that is deflationary as long as energy supply is not declining at the same rate.
Looks like a step function, JMG has that sort of idea. Stuff is not going to landfill, landfill is entropic steady state.
Perhaps central banks can throw as much as they wish at this problem and change virtually nothing.
Reading Hudson, interesting ideas, but 20% of the people do 80% of the work; that seems to be a ratio which is part of the fabric of the universe, very hard to change that one.

It will be interesting to see what the numbers actually show. Thanksgiving came very early this year. Also, stores were not giving out big doorbuster prizes, keeping down interest.
I didn’t go near a mall that day. I did go to a Barnes and Noble’s bookstore, both Friday and Saturday. The bookstore was quite busy on Friday afternoon, but it had hardly any customers on Saturday afternoon. Even on Friday, two cashiers were able to keep up with the number of customers coming through–no real line. I don’t think that the store’s sales were very good. Each year, the store has fewer books and more gift items, such as Legos, puzzles, and games.
I am surprised that book stores exist given the most recent crops of MORE-ONS spend their time uploading shots of their genitalia and trying to hook up … and now they are obsessed with transitioning
weird
I am surprised by this too! I do here major media really pushing people to go spend. While watching the World Cup they said Black Friday about 30 times! And it was very scripted. It’s becoming a strange world. But then again as Joseph Cambell said “Life is something that should not have been!”

CDC data for the US yields this very disturbing chart, showing that a big increase in excess deaths occurred in mid 2021 for those aged 0-44, just as vaccines were being rolled out. Covid itself had never caused significant deaths in this age group.

Just saw your comment to me regarding smallpox from a few days ago, thought I’d bring it forward. Thanks for the kind and open-minded approach.
Your question is, if ‘smallpox’ is most commonly from famine and cultural upheaval then why has it been eradicated if we still have famine and upheaval in the world?
Firstly, obviously I nor anyone has all the answers. We’re operating remotely here and relying on information being churned out by a culture that believes in germ theory. Like JMS said (thanks), to a degree, they can see what they want to see. Many diagnoses are not clinical. Then there are the biases in the clinical diagnostics themselves.
That said, industrial allopathy is an extremely powerful methodology that primarily seeks to suppress symptoms, because symptoms are regarded as causative ‘bads’ rather than the good healings that terrain sees them as. ‘Smallpox,’ as with all classified disease symptomologies, is a healing pathway that the body can choose to travel down in order to attempt to restore a healthy homeostasis. These pathways obviously require coordination across the organism. Mammals are highly social species by which we mean that we highly coordinate our outer activities. What’s less known is that we highly coordinate our inner activities. Why wouldn’t we, right? We coordinate our sleep cycles, our menstrual cycles, our libidinal cycles, our hunger cycles, we yawn in concert, laughing is ‘contagious,’ we mirror each other’s emotions, and we coordinate our detox cycles, among countless other functions. The synchronized behavior and unconscious signaling runs deep.
There are countless pathways to healing in the body, and each pathway (classifiable symptomology) is the preferred pathway for a particular disease context. But the body has redundancies built into it such that if a pathway becomes unavailable for whatever reason then another pathway will become available when the compound consequences of the preferred pathway having been unavailable combine with the still-unaddressed disease to trigger a more deeply systemic (core) healing pathway. Which is to say, in suppressing the first option for healing, allopathy kicks the can of disease down the road to higher consequence, but because of the internal logic of allopathic culture, the higher consequence is not linked to the suppression that caused it. Plausible deniability. Do you see?
In developing vaccines they are tinkering with the unconscious (exosomal) signaling system that regulates healing pathways. What it appears they did with the smallpox vaccine strategy is interesting. They discovered that people who milk cows get very mild smallpox because they get exposed to the cows’ version of smallpox exosomes which signal for recurring, less acute distributed tissue death due to malnutrition. Cows developed this survival strategy of ‘seasonal’ pox triagings because their existence as performance -bred beasts of burden eating totally unnatural high-grain diets and living in overcrowded conditions and having a lifespan of one-third to one-half of their natural lifespan caused some of them to adapt to those acute malnutritive, performance, and cultural stressors, and ecological pressures by intelligently converting their mammalian smallpox healing pathway that signaled for famine-type scenarios into a recurrent and therefore more preventative and less acute pathway. They adapted to their hyperintensively-farmed and abused circumstances by distributing the pathway itself, in frequency. The animals that adapted to their conditions by lowering the threshold for smallpox gained favor with the farmers for obvious reasons.
The smallpox vaccine program is the most intensive vaccine program ever administered. It looks to me like they succeeded in artificially forcing the bovine
adaptation onto humans such that the higher-threshold (more systemic) human version has been rendered obsolete. And now all the smallpoxes are milder ‘zoonotic’ poxes.
This is obviously an awesome accomplishment for civilization. It this particular respect, it enables humans to be farmed more intensively, which is the whole point. We can objectively say that technologically better-adapting humans, with “improved” pox genetics, to overcrowded and undernourished ecologies makes humans an “improved” breed for civilization just as with any line-breeding program that seeks to “improve” cattle ROI.
The global vaccinia exosome bomb was effectively a technological genetic line-
breeding of humans for an improved, more distributed healing pathway better suited for their circumstances. Of course, that will make them less well-adapted for collapse.
While it stands to reason that the demands of the dairy cattle context would select for a less acute, distributed, recurrent/’seasonal’ pox healing pathway, it also holds that wild cattle would have previously evolved a lower threshold pox because they didn’t have the highly evolved metaconsciousnesses (minds) that wild humans did that could conceive of strategies to minimize famine. Whereas wild cattle might encounter major wintertime deprivations throughout their lifetimes, humans had foresight and could progressively turn to modified diets, modified hunting strategies, war population controls, the rythmn method of birth control and, as a last resort, female infant neglect (infanticide) which reduced long-term population growth potential but also increased the male to female ratio for warring purposes. The anthropological record shows that in the most chronically compacted ecologies wherein warfare was concomitantly chronic, male to female ratios reached as high as 1.33:1 so as to optimize the male province of warfare. It is generally agreed that ratios beyond that were rarely exceeded because that was the approximate point at which the negative feedback loop of social instability kicked in because too many accomished warriors surviving well into adulthood had insufficient mating and fathering opportunities.
We’re talking about life within Dunbar’s Number, here.
You say, “Of course, that [the global Covid vaccine effort] will make them [humans] less well-adapted for collapse,” if I understand what you are saying.
Some things are hard to understand. A self-organizing system behaves strangely, relative to the way that we think it should. Perhaps, in the view of the self-organizing system (or the Higher Power behind it), the world economy needs fewer people now. Perhaps more mutations are needed for a few survivors to make it through the bottleneck, and figure out new ways of using the energy resources that are still available.
I would be very interested in your speculations regarding adaptive mutations to assist human survival moving forward?
Gail
Yes I believe that vaccines in general make people less well-adapted for collapse because they are manipulating/thwarting the intelligent self-organizing biology that got us here, with very clever parlor tricks, and doing so in order to make it look like biology can’t do a respectable job of living without them. They’re playing God.
Most people here still think that before civilization people were lesser humans than what we are, that people lived nasty, brutish, and short 30 year old lives. None of those are true. Fundamentally they were exactly like us but culturally they were animist. There’s a lot of corrupt anthropology going on the past two decades trying to muddy the waters of animist history. We talked about Graeber’s book earlier this year as a prime example. Someone here the other day posted a ridiculous article suggesting that there were 150M native Americans at some point before Europeans arrived. They mess with civilizational history and now they’re messing with pre-civilizational history, in order to obfuscate the deepest human truths.
Ya but there was no small pox in the America’s — then the Spanish came — and suddenly the indios are dying by the millions … of small pox….
And the three world wars were fought in the name of democracy.
I thought they were fought over resources….
So fill me in on how the indios contracted and died from a disease that did not exist until the Spaniards arrived in their part of the world?
In 146BCE Carthage was destroyed by Rome. Some of the Carthaginians migrated to Brazil and Peru. Bring some exposure to Old World diseases before the Spanish.
https://www.pbs.org/wnet/secrets/carthages-lost-warriors-about-this-episode/1118/
Can you show me where millions died from small pox during that period?
Oh and note the word may… may is not the same as did.
Now, science is suggesting some may have taken refuge thousands of miles away in South America.
If M Fast asks where have you been all day – did you go to the VIP room again!!!
I could say I may have … but I may have gone fishing … or I may have gone for a ride on my bike… it’s a great word may … very useful

(Bloomberg) — The American outbreak of avian influenza is officially the worst on record with 50.54 million dead birds, according to the US Department of Agriculture
The highly pathogenic virus was found at a commercial turkey farm in South Dakota this week, resulting in tens of thousands of birds being killed to avoid further spread. That pushed the 2022 total depopulation figures above 2015 when 50.5 million birds were killed, USDA data shows.
The virus has mostly impacted turkey and egg operations, sending prices to all-time highs and contributing to soaring food inflation. While the spread slowed during the warmer months, it continued to fester and now risks further spread as cooling temperatures prompt more birds to migrate.
In addition to the turkey farms, bird flu has also been detected in recent days at a Utah petting zoo and Missouri chicken farm. The virus has been confirmed in over 630 flocks in 46 US states. The risk to humans is low but people should avoid unprotected contact with wild or domestic birds that look sick, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Alex C seems to be saying that India and Turkey will still be able to flog Russian oil to the EU at a mark up.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2022-11-25/russia-drafts-decree-banning-oil-sales-to-price-cap-participants
> Russia Drafts Decree Banning Oil Sales to Price-Cap Participants
The Kremlin is drafting a presidential decree that will prohibit Russian companies and any traders buying the nation’s oil from selling it to anyone that participates in a price cap, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.
The decree will forbid dealings with both companies and countries that join the price-cap mechanism, the person said, without giving an exact definition of how participation in such a mechanism would be defined. It would essentially ban any reference to a price cap in contracts for Russian crude oil or products, and prohibit loadings destined for any countries that adopt the restrictions, according to the person, asking not to be named because the matter isn’t public yet.
The European Union has been struggling to agree on how strict a price cap should be. Diplomats suspended talks on Friday about a proposal for a cap at about $65 a barrel, well above the current price of Russia’s main export crude. Disagreements over the price level remained entrenched and the talks were postponed to Monday.
It’s not clear how much impact a price cap, or a Kremlin decree in response, would have on trade. That’s because the formal backers of the measure are already refraining from buying Russian oil. The policy is actually aimed at other major consumers, such as India, which won’t have access to western insurance and other shipping services if they pay more than the capped price for Russian crude.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and several other officials have said on numerous occasions that the nation won’t supply energy to those who will join a price cap. Instead, the country will redirect its oil supply to “market-oriented partners” or reduce production, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said earlier this week.
India, Turkey and other big buyers haven’t signed up to the cap. At this stage it looks like they would have no trouble continuing to buy Russian oil, since the latest proposal has the cap so far above current market prices.
I understand that Europeans gave up on a price cap for natural gas earlier. I wouldn’t be surprised if they end up discarding the idea of an oil prices cap as well. If the price cap is above the price that Russian oil normally sells for (a discount to Brent because it tends to be heavy oil) is above the price that oil normally trades at, it won’t make much difference.
My impression is that they are not finding an agreement because they know that they cannot do it.
If they find an agreement and they apply it, the European autodistrution will be too fast.
So, it is better to pretend that an agreement is not possible to find.
Each Country will blame some one else for that.
Gail is a descendant of a Norwegian landowner and I am also descended from a landowner, although my grandparents lost their land to the Russians.
In the end the landowners and their descendants are eternal.
The first thing my grandparents taught me was to mistreat my underlings. It didn’t matter that they had no underlings by the time I was born. It remains in the family forever.
It doesn’t matter if you do bad to a worker/tenant/servant. The underlings might get angry, but you control their livelihoods so they will follow the line and the underling is forgotten after a few days since everyone’s life is so harsh that they have no time for others’ problem. No different from the people who live in North Korea. When someone is arrested , the people do not question or fight for the person receiving injustice ; they are just glad it is not them.
Old families have several , in some case a truckload , of skeletons buried in their land. There is no karma’ the skeletons remain buried, and the landowner’s family still owns the land and the town.
Do you still own the land if it was taken by the Russians? Will you one day take it back?
Probably not. Chucky ruined it for all of us. By now I bought it and I am the new landowner.
I think it would be interesting if you or others like you who emigrated to Russia would periodically blog about your experience there (business, culture, government, etc). IIRC you posted a website of some sort a while ago, but the gist of it was a bit different. Anyways, just something to consider!
sure, and with pleasure. But right now with one business starting and two on the drawing board I have no time. Galling to Kulm, no doubt, that I am 3/4 a european serfs descendant.
Isn’t Kulm a serf now if he does not de facto own any land?
I have my own plans. It won’t be pretty for those who live there.
There is quite a difference between a scandinavian small farm land owner and for instance a prussian landjunker. Scandinavia never really had the kind of serfdom continental europe had. The prussian landjunkers may have been the last relic of feudalism in western europe?
I believe the “farm” my great grandparents lived on was 7 acres, up in the mountains of Norway. They had something like 10 children. There was no chance it could feed everyone. My grandfather was oldest, and thus he would inherit the farm. There was a lot of debt already, trying to keep things going. He could see that it was pointless.
The John Jeavons biointensive mini farm method could certainly feed 7 average families. I doubt that it works best with centralization of land space, but I’m hazy about that. A very competent over all manger is perhaps also required.
The Laws of Thermodynamics Will Not Bend for Landfills
BY JOSH LEPAWSKY
https://slate.com/technology/2022/11/landfills-recycling-energy-thermodynamics.html
But the stuff you personally put in this or that bin is the tiniest part of all the waste that arises in the United States and other countries whose economies are premised on mass consumption. Although numbers are tricky here, something like 97 percent of all waste arising in the United States happens before you—as citizen and consumer—buy, use, and toss the things you need and want for your daily life. If you live in a typical American city, all the garbage and recycling you see getting picked up at the curb is just that remaining 3 percent of overall waste arising.
…..The stuff going into contemporary landfills is very different than their historical precedents. This “modern waste,” as Samantha MacBride, an assistant professor at Baruch College, calls this jumble of materials, is notable for its heterogeneity, toxicity, and tonnage. This material complexity makes recovery difficult, and efficiency isn’t the only issue. Some amalgams of materials, such as plastics and certain combinations of metals, are technically impossible to separate back into their constituent materials (at least for now). No matter how much effort would be applied there are no technologies on the horizon that can achieve that kind of separation, so some amount of materials and energy will always be lost (back to thermodynamics again).
….if.we arrange our economic systems such that they are premised on continual growth in the sense of an increasing aggregate of materials and energy flowing into them, wastes will inevitably arise. Like a bathtub, those systems are already overflowing. So far as we know, we can’t dodge thermodynamics. But we may be able to devise ways to work more collaboratively with them. Part of that collaboration will mean figuring out how to live without growth in the aggregate. That’s not an argument for living in burlap sacks and chewing on local root vegetables, but it does mean rearranging and reinventing the interlocking systems that make our different daily lives possible.
….Status quo waste management is just like status quo industrialism. It is premised on growth. Yet, unchecked growth can lead to system collapse.
Listened to an audio of Jay Hanson and he imagined a Sloth Society…
Folks not acquiring but consuming for only satisfying their bodily needs…
In the end, he doubts it would happen…we will probably rather destroy ourselves through status seeking dominance..the peeking order rules
It’s of no importance. It won’t continue for much longer.
Everyone moans and complains about landfills pollution sprawl etc… then they propose various ridiculous solutions that only make things worse (e.g. what to do with all the end of life solar panels)….
The solution – the real solution — is obvious,
Extinction.
The humans need to go – we are the problem. There would be no problems on Earth if we were gone.
Finished Moby Dick – all that horror – so we could obtain oil to light lamps.
Is anyone else disgusted and embarrassed? Humans are a disgrace.

https://www.rintrah.nl/wrong-antibodies-how-the-immune-system-is-beginning-to-tolerate-sars-cov-2/
Could this be what happened? It seems to fit the experience so far.
The important thing to note, illustrated by the followup in this graph, is that the tolerance after two shots of this vaccine gets worse with infections. The infections themselves are training the body to start tolerating the Spike protein.
Why does this happen? My suspicion is as following: The virus became competent at inducing antibody dependent enhancement, as the most neutralizing antibodies no longer work. This means that the virus began replicating in people’s white blood cells. One way to solve this problem, is to stop producing antibodies that activate complement or draw the virus into the Fc receptor: That’s how the virus manages to get into your immune cells and replicate there or damage them.
So, when you start producing the anti-inflammatory tolerance inducing IgG2 and IgG4 antibodies, you get rid of the antibody dependent enhancement problem: The virus becomes less capable of using your own white blood cells to its advantage. The problem of course is that “let’s just tolerate the virus” is not a very smart survival strategy in the long run.
There ain’t no way to Unf789 this…. 🙂
Vern, that was a very solid and worthwhile read! To summarize:
mRNA vaccines are generating antibody responses skewed towards tolerizing antibody classes that cause the immune system to ignore the virus (IgG4) rather than clear it (IgG1, IgG3, IgM).
There is a short burst of clearance antibodies, but their levels decay rapidly. In contrast, IgG4 levels increase greatly with time and repeated exposure.
Note: I would ignore the author’s (in my opinion, baseless) speculation about the underlying cause for the class switching (ADE avoidance) and just focus on the fact that the class switching is happening at all.
Ignoring the virus is a very different response from clearing it.
The percentage positive of COVID tests shown on Walgreen’s website seems to support this. You have to go to the sheet with the percentage positivity by months since last shot, by age group. Except for the youngest age group, all of the age groups show that the “unvaccinated” have lower positivity rates than ay category other than “vaccinated less than three months ago.” The rates go up, with more months from vaccination.
I understand we are to the point of recommending a booster every two months.

they wouldnt dare–before consulting you eddy
I am not sure it is really that bad. Maybe every three months. See sheet 2 of the Walgreen report on percentage with positive COVID results by months since last injection. The only one that comes out less than the “no vaccine” category is the less than 3 months since last injection. (Maybe less than 2 months works even better.)

“The percentage positive of COVID tests shown on Walgreen’s website seems to support this.”
Aren’t those tests unreliable? I’ve had Covid several times (super bad cold) and each time I took the Walgreen’s PCR test, it came up “NEG”.
I contracted covid earlier in the year… and since then have not had as much as a sniffle… but the Vaxxies… well the vaxxies are always sick with covid or flu or whatever… and they usually get a hard case of it…
Same with M Fast … same with the two munchkin …
Ed Dowd says the unvaxxed will soon be recognized for their value in the workplace — employers will pay much more for someone who is not off sick half the time…
When does the Big Cull start… enough of this micky mouse shit … give me some real numbers… an entire Vietnam War of excess deaths in America alone from the vax is not enough … give me Apocalyptic numbers… let’s see half a major city die off in a month!
Wonder how the PR Team spins that
Let’s hope that it explodes higher soon
It is another frigid night in 2028, and I have just eaten my last remaining granola bar. I can hear the marauding cannibals down the street engorging themselves on an elderly couple. They were sociologists at a local Tier 1 university; I am not too sure about the couple.
As the screams of agony subside, I turn to slink away in the darkness, but a sudden movement to my right catches my eye. I freeze and hold my breath. More movement – all around me. Antifa cannibals are stepping out of the trees and the soft moonlight reveals crazed grins. They chant in unison “Kill the MAGA! Kill the MAGA!”. I use my last breaths to scream in vain that I voted for Hillary (a lie) while being smashed to pieces.
A real life zombie apocalypse.

“There was madness in any direction, at any hour. If not across the Bay, then up the Golden Gate or down 101 to Los Altos or La Honda. . . . You could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning. . . .
And that, I think, was the handle—that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting—on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. . . .
So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark—that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”

We are going to fix that.
Variants have been one of the hallmarks of this pandemic, with ever more infectious forms of the virus apparently mutating themselves into existence at regular intervals. However. it is easy to forget that prior to 2021 variants were a rarity and the only sign of our variant ridden future was the emergence of the scarily named Kent variant (later renamed Alpha) late in 2020. The UKHSA Vaccine Surveillance Report started mentioning variants in May of 2021, but only in passing. However, as 2021 wore on new variants started appearing more frequently, and in recent reports there are 10 times more references to ‘variants’ compared to their debut. (To be fair, there used to be an entirely different vaccine report devoted to ‘variants of concern’, the Technical Briefings.)
But ‘variants’ weren’t simply a natural process of viral evolution – not when there were people to blame. By summer 2022 there had been multiple articles published explaining that it was the unvaccinated that created these variants, adding to the cries for (mandated) universal vaccination. I believe that the idea that it was the unvaccinated that were causing the problem arose due to a misunderstanding of the role of the mechanisms that drive viral evolution. While it is true that for many vaccines the main source of vaccine escape variants is the unvaccinated, this is only true for sterilising vaccines (which stop any viral load on infection), and isn’t the case for non-sterilising vaccines such as the COVID-19 ones. To explain this effect further we need to delve into the evolutionary process.
https://dailysceptic.org/2022/11/25/how-vaccines-drive-covid-variants/
This is a good article. It gives a lot of the details related to viral evolution.
One thing it points out is the following:
They knew there were non-sterilizing before they injected people – yet they told them they were 95% effective. And they went ahead … and they continue
Cull. Extermination
You could argue that the evolutionary box of Pandora was already opened when a thing “appeared” that basically does not exist in nature meaning that nature has no “idea” what this thing should be.
c9/11 has it’s own clade. Wtf does that mean ?
You could compare it to an evolutionary hard fork.
I can understand that the harsh reaction (China) is related to some people having an idea about what is going on and apply military grade bioweapon defense strategies.
I doubt that you can put that back in the can and subsequent errors with vaccine policy (When we have a biowaepon “attack”, we vaccinate all) was not really calculated through or even if it was, you do not know what is the rock and what is the hard place.
We are in year three of c9/11 and we have maybe another three million years to see what will come from it.
This one goes out to Mirror, the music man. This is what I grew up on in NYC. GURU showed up outside the front of our school one day after school and everyone went nuts. I missed it though I had made a beeline to a playground a few blocks away to play basketball. 🙂

Another topic for the dinner party – and the book …
Did you know that the vax is a test — of true intelligence.
Yep – anyone who got sucked in will be Culled. Cuz it has been determined minimum 6B must be exterminated so that we can extend civilization another 30 years with the remaining energy.
Or just do this

Why has the topic overrun this comment section?
It’s getting rather tiresome dealing with FE obsessive fixation.
Doubt it will be even be mentioned at all when the Food Markets close and the Petro stations Out of Gas signs as happened before…
Suppose folks need something the have a handle on and in control like being unvaxxed… Congratulations…you all will eventually meet you ends someway else …how nice
A lot of the world is very much traumatized by the vaccine story, and the message of, “You need to live in fear, from now on.” The Covid story is going on endlessly around the world, right now. China has a large part of its economy shut right down, ostensibly because of Covid. You live in Florida. It is probably the place in the US least affected with the Covid shutdowns and propaganda.
Even now, the hospitalization rates are fairly high, and seem to be going higher in quite a few countries. These are a few from OurWorldinData.org. The US is not reporting very high Covid hospitalizations now, compared to Europe and Japan. (Germany does not seem to report hospitalizations to OurWorldinData.org.)
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/current-covid-hospitalizations-per-million?country=USA~FRA~GBR~ITA~JPN
Why is Noway’s death rate so much after vaccines were added? It never had a death rate problem from Covid itself.
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/excess-mortality-p-scores-projected-baseline-by-age?uniformYAxis=0&country=~NOR
One issue we don’t really yet understand completely is, “What are the long-term impacts of Covid and the vaccine?” Can a case be made that the vaccine is less harmful than getting the disease, at least for some people in poor health? Another issue is that it is hard to believe that something like this could really be promulgated by the CDC and by Anthony Fauci. Also, many of us have had friendships disrupted by this whole issue. And, death rates still seem to be higher, with some places higher than others.
So I can’t blame people for being concerned about the Covid issue, even today.
The energy issue moves along slowly. The Ukraine story is sometimes hard to understand. And many of us find the Climate Change story badly overdone.
Long while ago reading a book concerning World War Ii on the population numbers…
Yes, it put a dent in the regions involved, but just a passing event that had no material lasting adverse trend.
I work in an industry that had the mandate…everyone required to be vaccinated and was for the most part. I can attest that do not see devasting adverse reactions posted constantly by FE and the like.
One co-worker complained he kept up with the boosters and STILL came down with the Covid and had enough.. No more shots.
The p!anet number keepers just recorded 8 billion people here now…
Doubt the vaccines will change that like WWII didn’t change the trend.
I agree with you…the energy and food issue will.
Tell that to my ex neighbour who is dying .. and multiple friends who have permanent heart damage
Still waiting myself, FE, get over it, bro..and the hundreds of co workers I come in contact with daily…you all must just be unlucky.
Remember that post from last week — about the guy who said the vax injured are not admitting to it — they are ashamed and/or frightened … so they say nothing….
That’s if they even acknowledge it’s the vax… my ex neighbour has had two major vax injuries – the second will kill her… but it’s not the vax…
Neither Covid nor the vaccines have had much effect either way except in one area, civil liberties, which were erased.
Yes what are the long term impacts of the Covid injections … given they admit now that they were never intended to stop the spread of covid … and as we can see they don’t stop CovIDIOTS from ending up in the hospital with Covid …
So what were they purposed for?
Now this doesn’t keep me up at night — I don’t worry about it… but the CovIDIOTS should … cuz they are the ones who are injected…
If it is extinction vs cull then that’s great — humans are a disgrace to the planet.. not a single animal would miss the humans … well maybe Hoolio … but I’ll give Hoolio the special animal fent and he’ll join us in the darkness… or the other dimension …
Cull is ok too … it’s a decent compromise.. not sure how that would work but if it’s doable ya let’s do that. Private jets — hot low IQ gogo dancers (and remember… we get to breed the bad genes out — Yeadon will be quarterbacking that experiment – I already asked him and he said F789 Ya… That’s a really good idea Fast Eddy … let’s be mates after the Cull … you have lots of really fun ideas and me – I’ve spent my life in labs and I’m a bit of a boring fellow … I intend to use the 30 Bonus Years properly … fit birds… private jets… disco balls…
Indeed Fast Eddy is the one – the ring leader who will ensure the Bonus Years are fruitful and filled with joy and pleasure — and lots of low IQ yet very hot hotties (did I see that already? So what – it’s worth repeating).
I reckon the hotties are forced to spend their days in the gym keeping Super Fit … we’ll have dieticians to make sure they don’t Blow Out on us … we’ll even have one of those Brazilian Wax experts on staff. Nothing will be out of place on our very low IQ but 10 out of 10 on beauty and fitness hotties…
Let the Cull begin (can we start tomorrow?)
i guess a ‘hottie’ who wanted conversation as well would a a contradiction in terms for you eddy.
but continue with the self revelation
am enjoying it
I am appreciative of the free conversation here & skip the ones I find bothersome.
I was forced into early retirement when my library closed for a covid year. My husband & I have two sets of friends left, the social price of refusing to vax at our age. The list goes on & on. Most infuriating was watching the young adults we know pushed into vaccinating to keep their jobs & such. The collapse in our lives due to covid is a pain that goes on . The last paragraph of your entry is belittling.
Why? Because the injections are the response to severe depletion of affordable energy.
That’s why.
But you are in the single dimension so you cannot comprehend that. Say hi to norm over there in that dimension.
We who realize there are many dimensions + nuances to the story — are busy trying to understand exactly what the Elders are up to. Is it extermination? Is it a Cull? Have they invented a BAU Lite scenario? Is this all part of a simulation and the simulation allows for a Cull?
That would be my choice – kill 6B – 2B live on … 30 years of private jets and fun.
Special exemptions for very fit hot MOREON Babes.
We’ll enjoy ourselves trying to breed the MOREON out of them …
Nah … they dressed Klaws up like a bond villain and had Noel Hurrah-ri spill the fake beans… as part of the test… none of that is real.
No need for such a state when you have eliminated all the MOREONS and those who are left have a private jet parked in the garage.

Batteries of EVs had run down, after 100 day lockdown. Made it hard for firefighters to reach the building.
That is hilarious, another WIN for green energy.
I read something similar with a police station here in Poland that was forced to buy some EVs. They complained that they could not chase anyone because after they turned on the lights and sirens, the cars would soon run out of juice.
Neighbour telling me he looked at a EV pickup (not sure why but anyway) the moment you flick it into 4WD the battery life drops by half.

United Furniture Industries mysteriously laid off all of its 2,700 employees on Monday.
A big US furniture company this week fired all of its 2,700 employees while they were sleeping, telling them in texts and emails not to come to work the next day, according to reports.
The mass firing on Tuesday by United Furniture Industries, which makes budget-friendly sofas and recliners for Simmons Upholstery, left thousands of employees including truck drivers and factory workers in North Carolina, Mississippi and California unemployed just two days before Thanksgiving.
At the instruction of the board of directors … we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen business circumstances, the company has been forced to make the difficult decision to terminate the employment of all its employees, effective immediately, on Nov. 21,” the company said in messages to employees.
“With the exception of over-the-road drivers that are out on delivery. Your layoff from the company is expected to be permanent and all benefits will be terminated immediately without provision of COBRA.”
……It’s not clear why the two-decade-old company dissolved its operations so suddenly, but over the summer it had fired its chief executive, chief financial officer and executive vice president of sales, according to FurnitureToday.com. Several weeks later, some 500 employees lost their jobs at multiple facilities in Winston-Salem, NC, and Verona, Miss,. and Victorville, Calif.

There is some serious bad blood stemming from the Taylor Swift ticket debacle.
The “Anti-Hero” singer broke all kinds of records with the release of her latest album, Midnights. So you can imagine that ticket sales for her Eras tour, her first since 2018, would be big. We just didn’t predict it would go so awry during the pre-sale when an unprecedented number of fans with pre-sale codes flooded the site on Tuesday and bought up the tickets. As a result, the public ticket sales, which had been set for Friday, has been canceled with Ticketmaster, which is handling the sales, citing “insufficient remaining ticket inventory.”

If USA loses the Global Hegemony, it will break.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimson_Skies#Universe
Crimson Skies is a game , released by MICROSOFT, back in 2000 or so. The backstory is a bit weak, but in short the Great Depression is managed even worse than our history, and by 1930s all of North America breaks up into 20 plus countries, with Hawaii becoming a Japanese puppet kingdom.
In other words, Bill Gates was aware of this possibility , long before most people.
Of course, the racial and societal fractures are more severe now. At that time Segregation was still strong, and blacks had very little capital. Now there are not only Blacks, but also Hispanics of various origins and Asians.
With USA no longer #1, there is very little to hold the states together.
The US will break apart with or without global hegemony. It is too far in debt, it’s Shale output is declining, it has pummeled the middle class where they are not far from the lower class. The US keeps lowering the median wage for the middle class.
The US is only engaging in brute force to keep its hegemony alive. However that will only accelerate its collapse. As the saying goes: “How do you go broke? A little at first, then all of a sudden”.
I expect the US to breakup possibly in the next 10 years.

Roman Coins Once Thought to Be Fake Reveal a Long Lost Historical Figure.
Explaining his discovery, Pearson told the BBC: “What we have found is an emperor. He was a figure thought to have been a fake and written off by experts. But we think he was real and he had a role in history.”
The discovery has led many to wonder who Sponsian was. Some historians think he was a military commander who was forced to crown himself as emperor of a Roman province called Dacia.
Archaeologists have already established that Dacia was cut off from the Roman Empire around 260 AD in the midst of a pandemic and civil war.
Yes, there will likely be the same again….right Withall?
At one point in the crisis of the third century there were numerous emperors at the same time, none of whom had a better claim than the others.
Quite likely the the coins are genuine. Will this happen again in the American empire? Almost certainly.
It takes adequate energy supply to keep the United States together, as an entity. I can imagine the US coming apart, if the financial system comes apart in some way, or if everyone loses faith in US debt really being repayable with interest.
As the world economy shrinks back, it seems like major economies like the United States, China and India may somehow separate into smaller self-governing entities. Of course, the EU will dissolve.
the USA, and all other large nations, will fall apart as their transport systems fall apart
It would seem to me, though, that the states are held together by their common dependence on increasing (debt-fueled) handouts from the Fed. Gov., to the point that no state activity is untouched by it. I’m not sure that any of the states have the actual wherewithal to re-organize within their boundaries, as most of their internal organizations have been co-opted by federal entities by design.
It might end up happening that regions re-define themselves at a county level, as the Eastern Oregon area is seeking to do. The counties might be the least-dependent organizational elements.
More cannot come in to a state than goes out other than by issuing Federal debt.
One solution is to drop mandated programs, It is going to be interesting.

>As for a military foothold, most Americans want to live and let live, we have no desire to dictate to the world; it is time to solve our own issues in a manner which is the lease disagreeable to all.
—
Sorry, the history of United States since at least around 1897 shows otherwise.
USA wanted a base in the Pacific, and the Kingdom of Spain was weak. So USA provoked Spain and stole the Philippines and Cuba. When the Filipinos were not too hot being ruled by the Americans, the latter fought a 3 year war against them
Woodrow Wilson, listening to the Poles and Czechs, robbed the gains of German Empire in the east, creating a problem which still continues now. Instead of saying bs, Biden & co should re-affirm the Brest-Litovsk Treaty which Wilson had repudiated, apologize to the Hohenzollerns, and let Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Russia figure out what to do with it.
A lot of people were against sending troops to Iraq, but the anti-war movement generally died out, and USA got involved in a 20 year insurgency which eventually went nowhere, making Iraq to be largely controlled by the Shiites.
USA has been dictating the world from around 1917 to circa early 2022, and to make all of the wondrous inventions Dennis wants, it has to maintain its dominancy, although it is getting harder and harder to do.
The USA certainly has a lot of military bases around the world. It finds it necessary to get involved in the economies of many other countries. It has appointed itself to be the world’s policeman.
When you run the world you need to bash in the face of anyone who disses you.
Otherwise they’ll all diss you and you won’t run the world any longer
Hence the bases.
Chris Hedges: The Unraveling of the American Empire
https://peoplesparty.org/unraveling-american-empire/
US leadership has stumbled from one military debacle to another, a trajectory mirroring the sad finales of other historical imperial powers, writes Chris Hedges.
(As seen on Scheerpost) — America’s defeat in Afghanistan is one in a string of catastrophic military blunders that herald the death of the American empire. With the exception of the first Gulf War, fought largely by mechanized units in the open desert that did not – wisely – attempt to occupy Iraq, the United States political and military leadership has stumbled from one military debacle to another. Korea. Vietnam. Lebanon. Afghanistan. Iraq. Syria. Libya. The trajectory of military fiascos mirrors the sad finales of the Chinese, Ottoman, Hapsburg, Russian, French, British, Dutch, Portuguese and Soviet empires. While each of these empires decayed with their own peculiarities, they all exhibited patterns of dissolution that characterize the American experiment.
Imperial ineptitude is matched by domestic ineptitude. The collapse of good government at home, with legislative, executive and judicial systems all seized by corporate power, ensures that the incompetent and the corrupt, those dedicated not to the national interest but to swelling the profits of the oligarchic elite, lead the country into a cul-de-sac. Rulers and military leaders, driven by venal self-interest, are often buffoonish characters in a grand comic operetta. How else to think of Allen Dulles, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Donald Trump or the hapless Joe Biden? While their intellectual and moral vacuity is often darkly amusing, it is murderous and savage when directed towards their victims.
There is not a single case since 1941 when the coups, political assassinations, election fraud, black propaganda, blackmail, kidnapping, brutal counter-insurgency campaigns, U.S. sanctioned massacres, torture in global black sites, proxy wars or military interventions carried out by the United States resulted in the establishment of a democratic government. The two-decade-long wars in the Middle East, the greatest strategic blunder in American history, have only left in their wake one failed state after another. Yet, no one in the ruling class is held accountable.
War, when it is waged to serve utopian absurdities, such as implanting a client government in Baghdad that will flip the region, including Iran, into U.S. protectorates, or when, as in Afghanistan, there is no vision at all, descends into a quagmire. The massive allocation of money and resources to the U.S. military, which includes Biden’s request for $715 billion for the Defense Department in fiscal year 2022, a $11.3 billion, or 1.6 percent increase, over 2021, is not in the end about national defense. The bloated military budget is designed, as Seymour Melman explained in his book, “The Permanent War Economy,” primarily to keep the American economy from collapsing. All we really make anymore are weapons. Once this is understood, perpetual war makes sense, at least for those who profit from it.
…….much later ending with…
The façade of empire is able to mask the rot within its foundations, often for decades, until, as we saw with the Soviet Union, the empire appears to suddenly disintegrate. The loss of the dollar as the global reserve currency will probably mark the final chapter of the American empire. In 2015, the dollar accounted for 90 percent of bilateral transactions between China and Russia, a percentage that has since fallen to about 50 percent. The use of sanctions as a weapon against China and Russia pushes these countries to replace the dollar with their own national currencies. Russia, as part of this move away from the dollar, has begun accumulating yuan reserves.
The loss of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency will instantly raise the cost of imports. It will result in unemployment of Depression-era levels. It will force the empire to dramatically contract. It will, as the economy worsens, fuel a hyper-nationalism that will most likely be expressed through a Christianized fascism. The mechanisms, already in place, for total social control, militarized police, a suspension of civil liberties, wholesale government surveillance, enhanced “terrorism” laws that railroad people into the world’s largest prison system and censorship overseen by the digital media monopolies will seamlessly cement into place a police state. Nations that descend into crises these severe seek to deflect the rage of a betrayed population on foreign scapegoats. China and Russia will be used to fill these roles.
Yes, we are in the midst of Tragedy…forgive them for they do not know what they do….Jesus or Jay Hanson
The USA could not afford their wars anymore. So they turned to “the Yugoslaviation” or the “Arab Spring” tactics. The demand for a peace dividend reflects lowering productivity of oil. It is a geological question not moral decay.
It’s always about the economy even when we don’t immediately see it
I used to read Chris Hedges and the NYT … I stopped around 2008.
I’d say the USA have kept the oil flowing to “the free market”. As we see with the contract Iran/China or the formation of the BRICSS, this will be the more difficult the more the production concentrates on a few areas.
From my point of view the Great Reset relies on a working infrastructure.
Global conventional resources discoveries and exploration spending as % of total upstream investment, 2010-2020
https://www.iea.org/data-and-statistics/charts/global-conventional-resources-discoveries-and-exploration-spending-as-of-total-upstream-investment-2010-2020
Doesn’t seem if % spending was pushed back up to >16 that production would increase.
Of course, this is conventional resources. We know that conventional oil peaked about 2005. There are lots and lots of unconventional oil, natural gas and coal resources. The climate models seem to assume that these can be extracted. This is an IEA chart from 2015 that assumed top oil prices of $300 per barrel, in prices of that day.
As long as people believe that unconventional oil will save us, there is no need for more conventional oil. The theory of unconventional resources is less developed with natural gas and coal, but the result is similar. Natural gas looks like it is available, but shipping and storage costs prove to be outrageously high. Coal resources get more and more depleted. Also, what is left is in very inconvenient locations, making it difficult/expensive to ship. We are pretty much all the way into unconventional coal resources, already.
https://ourfiniteworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/2015-iea-weo-figure-1-4.png
What does “total upstream investment” mean?
I would have thought that, by definition, exploration spending is the sum total of discovery costs, thus it would be exactly 100% of upstream investment. Or maybe land lease expenses need to be included? What else?
Sorry, should have googled first: “Upstream activities include exploration, drilling, and extraction.” i.e. activities upstream to production.
I went to a neighborhood dinner potluck lately. A guy there was asking me intently, What do you DO all day, knowing I’m retired. I rather casually said , I do a lot of reading on the internet tracking the world’s economic collapse. And he got angry! Surely not! That’s not what you’re doing!
I rather lamely added that I also exercise a lot, but to no avail. He was angry and left me and said a few more sarcastic comments to me as I randomly saw him through the evening.
I think I said out loud what was his biggest fear, and I realized I should be more circumspect. I don’t want to disturb people, I don’t think there is any benefit to that. And also I don’t want any shooting the messenger kind of reaction.
I have to say knowing we are collapsing has helped me be quite peaceful in my thinking. Otherwise things like our open southern border would really irritate me. As it is, I think, fine, let them come. It’s not going to matter now.
Perhaps a more socially acceptable but honest answer is to say that you read about economics and geopolitics.
If they show interest you can open up some. Otherwise keep your trap shut.
yes its important to wait to be ‘asked’

Bottom line we are engaged in an existential fight between TPTB also known as “the owners” , and the other 80 to 90% of the population of the planet.
Right now most of the countries who have suffered under the yoke of imperial oppression over the last 75+ years are shruging off that yoke and demand their right to self determination. The West can not allow this to happen or they lose their majority claim on the worlds finite natural resources. Russia and China are being forced to step up and actively, forcefully resist the powers of hegemonic imperialism. Russia in particular is being goaded into forcefully countering the provocations of the West, they didn’t really want to. They even held out for the possibility that the West would see the benefits to working with them. The problem is that if the West allowed Russia to flourish then all the other countries will, and are feeling empowered and demand they too be allowed to develop as they will using their own finite natural resources.
I listened to NPR today and some representative of the EU block was being interviewed and he made the point several times, even out of context as if it were his mandate, that if Russia wins “the war” all of humanity faces an existential threat to their safety and their freedom as not only will Russia strike out across the world wreaking havoc but China, Russias partner will also feel emboldened and expand their evil agenda making the world a hellish nightmare. I kid you not he was talking like that. Several times he said if we lose to Russia we lose the world. This is literally the message of the collective West and is true in that the West will no longer be able to rape and pillage the world.
Russia, China, Iran, and another 50+ countries are actively, aggressively organizing and opposing the West at every turn stating that they absolutely will not allow the West to come out on top this time as the entire future of the world relies on this, and it does.
Neither side can possibly lose and neither side can possibly win. This is the definition of existential risk to all humanity. This will escalate, there will be no compromise by either side, this is for all the marbles kids!
Peak oil, Climate change, economic collapse all pale in comparison and rely 100% on how this dynamic plays out. Every last drop of FFs will be used to fight this truly World War. Unfortunately no-one …I mean no one that I can find has a clue how important this is or how it will play out.
your last paragraph is absolutely correct—its possible to predict everything except the future.
this is the beginning of our final struggle for survival
Jef
To your last paragraph, which is absolutely incorrect:
WW3 relies completely on peak oil in a universe operating in forward-time.
Looks like you’ve got your own little unfounded TINA theory that you like to accuse others of holding. TPTB are not suicidal. They are not going to use all the remaining available fossil fuels to destroy themselves via an all-out WW3.
Everybody here does in fact have a clue how important this is and, I for one, have a home-clue of how it’s going to play out FWIW. That home-clue is called the HTOE and it’s looking good so far but it’s still early days.
So I don’t really see what you’re going on about in placing the primacy of WW3 over our finite world’s industrial tipping point. Its as regressive an argument that one can make on a ‘peak oil website.’
reante – Obviously I hit a nerve as you continually attempt to get even.
There is plenty enough energy available to be redirected to the most important battle in history and I guarantee that it will be.
Peak oil, as our gracious host has pointed out, is being obscured as energy shortages caused by Russia so we must not let them win. The more pressure we put on Russia the more they will prioritise their FF production to military just as they are starting to do with industry. This is imo something that the US intends but I don’t think it will work as they intend.
We have about 1 to 2 billion people, those in the West who have a stake in the continuation of US imperial hegemony with all its perks, against 6+ billion people who are sick and tired of being effed over by US imperial hegemony and are not going to take it anymore and they are being ever more emboldened by very powerful nations capable and successful at actively resisting US imperial hegemony.
Not only does this mean the end of the West having the most and the best of what the world has to offer but we will have 6+ billion people that are angry as hell that we have so completely killed off any hope for them to have a decent life for so long, not to mention the hundreds of millions we have killed, wounded, displaced and their families. BlowBack!
I think what most of you don’t fully understand is the degree to which the US has violently controlled, destroyed, oppressed, and otherwise kept the vast majority of the planets population from developing.
Climate change, Peak oil, economic collapse are done. Sure TPTB will use some of it as an excuse to distract and/or motivate/manipulate people but it will all be done in the advancement of winning this epic battle for the planet.
I can see the message loud and clear; “Severe austerity must be imposed in order to battle the evil forces behind energy shortages and inflation”.
If you all think that peak oil will bring down the most powerful nation in the world with a whimper then you are mistaken. And if you think that Russia, China, Iran, etc. will back down and just crawl along, again you are mistaken.
This is now and it is everything!
Jef
It’s hardly a “continual attempt to get even” when as it stands, you bowed out of our previous head to head and this is the next one. Nice try.
Your take is a very conventional one. I appreciate you laying it out. You acting like you have superior anti-imperialist bonafides is a little rich, Jef. Try anit-civilization on for size before you start playing that game or you’re just getting a little too big for your britches. And I’d be happy to gotoe to toe with you on our respective anti-consumerist accomplishments also. The old Leftist guard doesn’t impress me much. Mostly hot air.
The Owners are the Civilization. The rest deserve nothing.
It is precisely because the consumers had gained too much power that the world ended up like what we have now
I listened to JHKunstler’s recent-ish interview with Tom Luongo, who shared some interesting things about Russia. 1.)Their military mostly moves things around by train. 2.) The rail gauges are different outside the boundaries of the old Soviet Union, so Russia cannot effectively control territory beyond that range.
The idea of putting energy-guzzling air-conditioning into open-air, roofless stadiums has added to Qatar’s long list of controversies (ranging from alleged bribery to reported human rights abuses). The host country promises that the AC systems now in use in seven of its eight World Cup stadiums have been built with sustainability in mind. According to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), global soccer’s governing body, the outdoor ACs will draw energy from solar panels and shoot cool air only to the parts of the stadium that need it the most—namely, the seats and the field.
But experts doubt that AC systems in outdoor stadiums could ever truly be sustainable. Shelie Miller, a sustainability expert at the University of Michigan, who has studied refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, says that air-conditioning is a major source of global greenhouse gas emissions. This is linked to both its strain on the electricity grid and faulty AC units that leak refrigerant chemicals—which are potent greenhouse gasses. This emissions problem is likely to get worse over time because the global use of indoor air-conditioning is expanding rapidly. With outdoor AC tech readily available, it may sound like an easy fix for heat-related illnesses at athletic competitions, an issue that plagued the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and will affect more events as the climate crisis continues. But “from an energy perspective, that’s a pretty bad idea,” Miller says, because much of the cold air escapes into the open environment. “There’s a reason that we close our windows when we run our air conditioners.”

Ghana plans to buy oil with gold instead of dollars source Reuters
The move is aimed at tackling dwindling forex reserves amidst rising inflation and a weakening local currency.
Ghana’s government is working on a new policy to buy oil products with gold rather than US dollar reserves, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia has said on Facebook.
The move, announced on Thursday, is meant to tackle dwindling foreign currency reserves coupled with demand for dollars by oil importers, which is weakening the local cedi and increasing living costs.
Ghana’s Gross International Reserves stood at around $6.6bn at the end of September 2022, equating to less than three months of imports cover. That is down from around $9.7bn at the end of last year, according to the government.
implemented as planned for the first quarter of 2023, the new policy “will fundamentally change our balance of payments and significantly reduce the persistent depreciation of our currency”, Bawumia said.
Using gold would prevent the exchange rate from directly impacting fuel or utility prices as domestic sellers would no longer need foreign exchange to import oil products, he explained.
“The barter of gold for oil represents a major structural change,” he added.
The proposed policy is uncommon. While countries sometimes trade oil for other goods or commodities, such deals typically involve an oil-producing nation receiving non-oil goods rather than the opposite.
Ghana produces crude oil, but it has relied on imports for refined oil products since its only refinery shut down after an explosion in 2017.
Bawumia’s announcement was posted as Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta announced measures to cut spending and boost revenues in a bid to tackle a spiralling debt
In a 2023 budget presentation to parliament on Thursday, Ofori-Atta warned that the West African nation was at high risk of debt distress and that the cedi’s depreciation was seriously affecting Ghana’s ability to manage its public debt.
The government is negotiating a relief package with the International Monetary Fund as the cocoa, gold and oil-producing nation faces its worst economic crisis in a generation.
Ghana should get its refinery repaired or make a deal with someone to build a new one

Maybe human beings really need to be mutated, to be able to access the rest of the fossil fuels that seem to be available. In this mutated state, perhaps they can even make captured solar energy affordable. Thus, perhaps the coming mutations are part of a larger, overall plan that we are not aware of.
It could be. The power of the genetic technology is amazing and at the same time it is apparant that has limitations as demonstrated by the extreme health risk it presents. Perhaps the motives are benevolent. Perhaps they are malevolent. Since we have not a inkling of the individuals and organizations motives thats a flip of a coin IMO. That the experiment has been instituted without explanation and without consent is all we know. Personally I find that reprehensible regardless of intent. If you put people at risk it seems self evident you need their consent IMO. Obviously the experiment would not have met with the approval of the the world population deceived into participation. Do our dire circumstances justify putting people at risk without their consent? If so all sorts of reprehensible behavior becomes justified. What sort of people would put people at risk without their consent? Would you think them benevolent or malevolent? Is total control by a group of humans asserting that they may do as they wish to all humanity preferable to collapse? Assuming if they are successful in their experimental triage which is far far from certain. We have no idea what is even considered success or failure of whomever or whatever is instituting the genetic experiment. That deception and manipulation form the core of the experiment/intervention is self evident. If you feel these indicators should be discarded because of our energy situation which you have a masterful understanding of I understand your logic. Hope springs eternal. It misses a perspective however that i feel has value. Placing other people at risk without their consent can not produce beneficial outcome regardless of intention. Of course i believe the failure of the experiment is self evident by the metrics I believe sound and it will make things much worse not much better. I can only apply those ideas and beliefs to decisions in my life. To assert my beliefs on others would be wrong and very hypocritical. I find that self evident but their doesn’t seem to be an escape from hypocrisy. Perhaps living under a bridge and shooting fent. Ive had enough hell in my life including being homeless IMO I dont deserve more hell so that is not a option for me. Hypocrisy light or at least I would like to believe so.

The motives can’t be benevolent if they are nonconsensual can they? That would be like saying the the imperial civilizational impulse that propagated its Live On Your Knees Or Die On Your Feet agenda was, perhaps, benevolent. Is that what you think? Or do you think, like Norm, that civilization isn’t an imperial cultural dysfunction but rather an evolutionary function, because evolution is apparently dumb?
The genetic experimentation is occuring now. You questions are philosophical and IMO intended to distract from the issue. I really have no interest or opinion on them and my opinion doesn’t matter in any case. Its pretty simple. Genetic experimentation is clearly being implemented without informed consent. I think the reasons for participating are ludicrous. Really its the sole thing we have control of. Others think my reasons for not participating are equally ludicrous in their opinion. I welcome their free will in this matter. I wouldnt have it any other way.
The genetic experimentation is occuring now.
No it isn’t. The vaccine does not change your DNA.
Ya it just wrecks your immune system and causes mutations.
Quite a harmless injection – and it stays in the shoulder hahaha… anyone who believes that will allow me to inject some petrol into their shoulder hahaha
YOU did the distracting, banned, by YOU participating in BAD philosophy (unwise thinking/feeling) , by you saying that nonconsensual genetic modification may possibly be philosophically benevolent.
MY response was to discredit your uncharacteristic lack of philosophical wisdom in the moment, because friends don’t let friends drive drunk, friend.
Therefore my response was to ELIMINATE the distraction.
You saying that I’m the distraction is just your Shadow deflecting your distraction by rehashing your Shadow’s determination that terrain theory is a distraction from your political aims and desires as a political person. Just so you know, my brother, that’s a dead-end. You can’t grow from within politics because politics is the ‘genetic engineering’ (hard reprogramming) of our psychologies.
Withnail
You’re wrong about that. The more shots, the more likely it modified our genome and the more likely it modified it for long periods of time, and perhaps for a lifetime. A lifetime can turn into the beginning of two lifetimes.
There is a return function in the two-tiered cellular PCR architecture. The return function, as a natural/universal fractal, is otherwise known as the toroidal function/dynamic. The ribosomal polymerase used for this return function is called reverse transcriptase. If the exosomal load/intensity (‘viral’ load) is high enough the return function will convert the RNA to DNA so that it can enter the core genetic PCRs in the nucleus (or nucleolus) so that the cell’s core genetic intelligence can asses/feel out how consequential are the outer ecological changes that are occuring in the local ecology outside of the human’s body. If they are consequential enough then the genetic intelligence will make itself innately adaptable to the major change by ‘making space’ in the genome for it. This newly made space — the genetic modification that, in the case of the vaxxxes, ‘hardwires’ the ability to readily make the ‘spikes’ by bypassing the minimum requirements initially required by the return function. The body retains the ability to turn the new gene on and off but switching off is unlikely to happen when billions of people are popping off spikes all the time.
As I’ve been saying, these vaxxxes are chain-reacting, nuclear exosome bombs that are seriously fucking with the vaxxxed’s experience of evolution. It’s technological devolution. And devolution is the maladaptive dynamic. The pulled the trigger on the vaxxxed. THEY double-tapped. And they still weren’t done. They’re working on unloading the full clip.
Ya it just wrecks your immune system and causes mutations.
i doubt it causes mutations. it does seem to make people catch the virus a lot. i never hear anyone unvaccinated say they have it but the injected are forever testing positive.

“The genetic experimentation is occuring now.”
“No it isn’t. The vaccine does not change your DNA.”
I felt that Dr Richard Fleming MD PHD JD showed that it did pretty conclusively in the video and in fact demonstrated this is the primary purpose for both the creation of the sars2 virus and the genetic injections. . Perhaps I misunderstood? Is there some aspect of the presentation that you disagree with or evidence presented that you find untrue? Could you possibly present some work by a similarly credited professional that presents evidence to the contrary so I can understand your position?
Every single one of these substances was considered a gene therapy prior to their introduction as “vaccines”. The patents are quite clear and actually incredibly revealing as to the intent of these injections. None of this is hidden really. The deception comes really in blase one line statements that clearly are contrary to the actual facts such as the patents.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/u6VIFMRGcs6e/
The scare was to collect as many as possible dna samples and in order to express mutations in same donor dna sample from successive sample(s) post successive intramuscular therapies. The jabberwocked are participating in not only genetic experimentation but data accumulation in order to feed a proper diet to A.I. which they know they must implement for socialist paradise. purebloods have made their choice and will not be invited though some may be used as security/maintenance. Do not underestimate the fear that Anthropogenic Climate Change has caused in the populace. As even more people are dying from ‘climate-related’ diseases and they will trample each other in the mass migration into any promise of a virtual immersive environment. It won’t even have to be ready they will line up and camp out to volunteer to beta test. The dream has been inceptioned. I think it would get boring and I am cool with mortality.
Basically your DNA must understand that it fails at eliminating hostile mRNA.
If I were a DNA I would start serious thinking on that question…
I felt that Dr Richard Fleming MD PHD JD showed that it did pretty conclusively in the video
I didn’t watch the video. The vaccine does not change your DNA.
“I didn’t watch the video. The vaccine does not change your DNA.”
The title of the video is “how the Vax enters your DNA”. Dr Fleming MD PHD demonstrates both the mechanisms and the actuality of the DNA changes. Only three parts of the DNA are left untouched by the injections.
If you feel DR Flemings presentation to have flaws you are welcome to address them yourself or to provide a critique from another similarly credentialed professional. The patents for each one of the injectable gene “therapy” substances are quite clear about what their capabilities are.
In liu of the disclosure provided from the (no) standard testing that constitutes informed consent they could have at least provided the patent claims. Each one of these experimental injectable substances was titled a “gene therapy” long before the “arrival” of sars cov 2. If a “gene therapy” doesn’t effect genetic changes in your opinion what is its purpose or method of effect?
Pardon me, as I’m just a peasant with no expertise in genetic engineering. But how would the mRNA from the shots get the injectees’ cells and program them to manufacture billions and billions of spike proteins IF the mRNA didn’t alter the DNA in the cells?
But how would the mRNA from the shots get the injectees’ cells and program them to manufacture billions and billions of spike proteins
I doubt that is what happens. It sounds pretty implausible. The term ‘spike protein’ is normally used by anti vaxxers i think isnt it?
“Pardon me, as I’m just a peasant with no expertise in genetic engineering. But how would the mRNA from the shots get the injectees’ cells and program them to manufacture billions and billions of spike proteins IF the mRNA didn’t alter the DNA in the cells?”
Tim
The spikes can be manufactured in the cytoplasmic (ribosomal) PCRs without the synthetic mRNA exosomes having to be reverse-transcribed into DNA (the “return function” previously mentioned) and sent to the nucleus for programming by the genome itself. The cellular intelligence is distributed for efficiency purposes. The ribosomal PCRs can read incoming exosomes (which are the natural equivalent of the “primers” in the farmed RT-PCR test that Kary Mullis invented) and complete the functional genetic strand for which the primers (the exosomal strand) are merely the templates, and then the functional strands enter other ribosomal complexes that specialize in building the proteins that the functional strands code for.
And this self-contained cytoplasmic dynamic creates the space THEY need to create the plausible deniability that the synthetic mRNA does not enter the nucleus, but in biological truth that’s NOT plausible because of the return function between the two-tiered cellular primordial soup (PCRs) – the reverse-transcription. There’s no way that an exosome bomb of that magnitude wouldn’t get reverse-transcribed millions of times or whatever, thereby interacting extensively with the human genome.
Purely cytoplasmic/ribosomal interaction is STILL genetic modification, but we could call it a ‘soft’ modification. Nuclear interaction reaction raises the specter of the type of ‘hard’ genomic modification that gene guns are used for.
first needed mutation. grow a fur that can withstand below freezing temperatures four months running. second, become able to digest grass and twigs.
Already been done. The Sabe do all that. They are just one of the hominins we share this reality with.
Please let me say that the following is a little bit more plausible for me: ‘maybe most humans beings, at this historical stage, can be eliminated or also be part of experimentations, in great numbers, for various technical reasons’

er–dust your skin with flour, and they do not.
Dr Richard Fleming MD PHD JD. Reno 100 Most Influential People.Superhero award for work in Medicine includingB.E.S.T. and FHRWW Imaging.
Far from dusting flour I found this one of the most informative glimpses into both the sars 2 virus and the genetic technologies differences and similarities to date. Do the genetic technologies effect DNA? The easier question is where they do not effect DNA as the good doctor shows with analytic science. I found the spectroscopy of the various injection materials fascinating. Its no wonder you found the need to characterize the presentation rather than actually address its content. Thats all you ever do in regard to material regarding the injections Norman. The Norman zone where characterization trumps content. A flour bath if there ever was one.
if someone puts forward the idea that human beings can be ‘magnetized’, as she does, then they invite debunking.
If ferrous objects stick to skin, as she proposes, and a simple dusting of flour prevents it, then she is a charlatan.
It has nothing to do with the pros and cons of vaxxing itself.
I say virtually nothing about the benefits or otherwise of vaxxing— if you choose to read something into that, then that is your decision. Ive been vaxxed–I have suggested/rejected it to no one else, online or RL.
If you vax or not–likewise.
I make no comment. I claim the 5th as they say. ‘All I ever do’—is nothing. Others fill in the gaps for me—that is the nonsense you read and believe. (check for yourself).
This drives certain people into rage. Why I can’t figure out. Baby killer is a favourite. You call that logical discussion?
Worth nothing more than eye rolling I’m afraid.

Are you certain that the supposed/apparent magnetic phenomenon has been debunked. Do you have a conclusive reference for that? At this point I remain undecided on the graphene topic, partly probably because I haven’t felt the need to come to a conclusion one way or the other.

on debunking—i think James Randi has also done it, but I could find the link to it at short notice

Ok . You hate Tenpenny. What does that have to do with Fleming and the topic of the video?
Nothing. You arbitrarily totally change the subject and content to one you are comfortable condeming than call them the same. You are not a honest person. You have no integrity.

It would appear that Fleming is touting the old ‘Covid is a bioweapon’ rubbish. Which puts him in the Tenpenny camp.

I know that we ran into quite a few of these issues before. We decided at that time that they weren’t really relevant to the question at hand. As I recall, it had to do with following certain rules for reporting some kind of information. Someone else can perhaps remember more of the details.
Quite a few of us are convinced that Covid is, indeed, a bioweapon. In fact, its vaccine is also. They are aimed at reducing the world’s overall population. They are not much aimed at harming another country. Instead, they seem to be aimed at reducing world population, particularly of the elderly and those in ill health.

Coming from a medical background as you do, I would have thought that you would accept that any form of serious unethical conduct from one of that profession must put their entire credibility in doubt.
Especially if it includes disbarment.
There’s a string of stuff available anyone who wants to research it. I went back to 2008, then tired of reading it all.
Tenpenny comes under much the same category in many respects.
As to covid being a bioweapon—it is.
Humankind has trespassed into animal environments too deeply.
We have herded them, (and ourselves) into close environments, totally against nature. Viruses mutate–its what they do. Haven’t you noticed that all virus outbreaks seem to arise in overcrowded environments? They have been around far far longer than we have had the ‘science’ to manipulate them. (which I do not believe we can do to any significant level)
They jump from one species to another, where there are no defences. We took their territory, they are fighting back.
So yes—it is a bioweapon. But not what you imagine.
It is, i think, A weapon of defence against our predations on the world at large. We have appropriated just about every critter as an energy source, (certaintly taken over the living space of everything else) and are in the process of burning the planet to get more. (this is now beyond question).
I have no way of proving it, but it seems to me that the Earth itself is ‘aware’ that there is something wrong, and is bringing about the means of our extermination, or at best a very drastic culling.
What other point of ‘conclusion’ could there be?
norm – can you get us some fact checker references… BBCCNN ideally
This is a video in which Fleming explains the origin of his conviction of a so-called felony at 10:20.
https://thefallingdarkness.com/its-a-bioweapon-dr-richard-fleming/
The conviction has to do with a billing issue, which he says had to do with changing the protocol on a research study (which he personally had designed) from two shots to one. He feels it was basically a “hit job,” because even at an early date, his research was too close to the issues that the folks working on the making the virus and related vaccines did not want known.
People who are up to the strange shenanigans we are seeing today would certainly be willing to do this kind of thing. It doesn’t prove anything about Dr. Fleming, other than the fact that he is persistent, even when people try to deter him.

Until you can answer, with conviction, by what mechanism inert ‘viruses’ wrest control of cellular volition, you cannot rationally believe what it is that you believe. How, exactly, are strands of nucleic acids encased in a capsid that is, in turn, encased in a lipid bilayer membrane with enzymes embedded in the membrane, how are they “territorial” in any way? Only biological organisms with executive functions can be territorial, right?
This is important, Norm. There’s a missing link in your conventional, passively accepted worldview. Nobody on the planet can explain using Reason how a ‘virus’ can DO anything. And nobody’s ever videographer a ‘virus’ DOING anything inside a cell or anywhere else, because such a thing can’t be done. They’ve simply twisted the exosomal function into a horror story because they’re in a manipulative, imperial war with everything and everyone.
I need to understand what happen in the Americas… and why a place that did not have small pox … suddenly did after the Spaniards arrived… and wiped most of them out.
Did the Spaniards perhaps cast a spell on the indios? If so then why did some of them survive the spell?

I don’t pretend to understand every detail of virology, and its interaction with biological species in all their forms.
Neither do i cut and paste segments from scientific journals, then post them as ‘learned questions’ on the subject. (which I, of course, do not have the depth of knowledge to reply to in detail)—with the suspicion that you don’t either. If you do—please accept my apologies.
If you can’t, you are word-garbling.
Smallpox is caused by a virus. I don’t need a research fellowship in communicable diseases to discuss the pros and cons of ways to contain it in lay terms.
Covid is caused by a virus.–ditto.
It is not a man made ‘bioweapon’—I dont need a degree level knowledge of the subject to be able to point out that viruses do not discriminate between those who release them, and their intended ‘victims’. And there is no way of ‘isolation’ to alter that.
We had a similar outbreak 100 years ago–it came, killed 50m, then subsided. I don’t have the knowledge to postulate why. Neither do you I think. No question of it being ‘artificial’—any more than bubonic plague was ‘man made’.
except that it was ‘man made’ by virtue of our inclination to overcrowding. THAT–if you care to analyse it, is the source of my thinking on this subject.
This current ‘plague’ will also subside in due course.
It will leave a ‘comment vacuum’, which will be increasingly difficult to fill.
No ‘scientific journals’ involved—just logic. We will have more ‘outbreaks’ because we remain overcrowded. There will be wild and wacky theories about it. But its root cause will remain—too many of ‘us’. Viruses appear to be nature’s resistance to our predations. We have taken more than we are entitled to. Nature is fighting back.
I dont expect you to follow that line of logic—i just put it out there as a concept that seems to fit our current situation. Prove me wrong.
As to various medical ‘specialists’ who tout this theory or that, When I see one, I can be reasonably sure that if i dig deep enough, It’s likely that i will come up with dubious conduct of some kind. Fleming was just the latest. With him I only had to scrape the surface.
Ask yourself:
If you had a serious medical condition, and had the choice between doctors of equal standing, would you choose the ‘straight’ one, or the one convicted of fraud?
I can address the content…for norm. 🙂
Firstly, I agree that Fleming’s schematic diagrams are very relevant since they entirely revolve around the natural PCRs in our cells but they would be USEFUL if he incorporated the actual PCR dynamics into the schematics; he needs to go one layer deeper or ‘we’ just have to take him at his word, as the ‘expert.’
I’m not taking him at his word because he made a big mistake in saying that when the virus (the GOF exosome in truth, assuming it actually exists which is indeed possible) RNA enters into a cytoplasmic PCR (ribosomal PCR) spikes are made and sent out of the cell exactly as what happens with the mRNA vaxxxes. That is totally incorrect. Spikes are not made. Copies of the mRNA are made, and then these copies travel to the inside layer of the lipid bilayer cell wall to get wrapped up in lipid bilayer s in an endosomal compartment, and these lipid bilayer s may or may not have enzymes embedded in them for sorting purposes. The ballyhooed ‘spike’ is just an enzyme that acts as a sorting mechanism for the intercellular communication, so that only cells with ACE2 receptors for example, receive the communication that was communicated specifically to them.
So the ‘virus’ is not forcing the body to make ‘spikes’ that get sent out an damage the body — as it what the vaxxxes are apparently doing — the ‘whole virus’ is getting replicated BY THE CELL because the body has determined the message to relevant. The whole EXOSOME getting replicated includes the enzymes getting copied into the exosome’s lipid bilayer but where Fleming’s ‘spike’ mistake becomes a compound mistake is WRT regard to his analysis of the genetically modified prion built into the GOF exosome. I do not believe that the endosomal compartment would be able to
reproduce a misfolded enzyme into the lipid bilayer, in the endosomal compartment because there would be no mechanism for doing so. The prion is one of the major features of the exhaustive, artificial GOF laboratory features. The cell can’t replicate that. All the cell can do is produce the standard coronavirus ‘spike’ enzyme sorting mechanism.
There was another flaw in Fleming’s biological analysis but I can’t remember what it is now.
Relatedly, our cells CAN make prions intentionally as part of our exosomal repertoire. If we remember that, under terrain theory, ‘disease’ symptomologies are traumatic but necessary HEALINGS being carried out by the body, we can see why exosomal prions have a function in the triaging of the healing function. The body produces exosomal prions for the same reason that it produces the class of exosomes that communicate distributed skin death (as in ‘smallpox’) – to protect core functions in times of acute malnutrition. Prion-based exosomes serve the function of autophagy. Prion brain disease (healing in triage-mode) is the intelligently distributed ‘brain-wasting’ of the organ so as to preserve diminished but still-fully-distributed core brain function in acutely malnourished circumstances that have hit a tipping-point and requires ring fencing. Core functions are retained and peak functions are lost. It’s the intelligent, biological Degrowth Agenda at work.
Oh that’s where they got the idea from! 🙂
“Finally, autophagy related protein-5 (Atg5) and autophagy-related-16 like-1 (Atg16L1) also regulate exosome biogenesis in breast cancer cells [84] and mediate exosome secretion of prion proteins in central and peripheral neuronal cells [85]. Autophagy is a regulated self-degradative process that removes unnecessary and dysfunctional cellular components for recycling [86]. Interestingly mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), a highly conserved Ser/Thr kinase and master regulator of autophagy, also negatively regulates exosome release in response to changes in nutrient and growth factors, in a manner similar to autophagy [67]. The concurrent regulation of these two processes likely allows cellular waste management and recycling, particularly under stress conditions. Such regulation of exosome release possibly occurs in stressful environment of glucose starvation and hypoxia [30].
Hence exosome biogenesis is a finely tuned and reactive pathway with multiple molecular players which are involved in other key cellular functions or vesicle related physiology.”

Thank you for your significant and honest reply. Your analysis of Flemings flaws aside do you feel the statement “the vaccines enter the DNA and change it “to be true or false? If “gene therapies” dont effect genetic changes how do they work? Im afraid I simply dont have the background. Its been a long long time since I handled a petri dish. From a simplistic and uneducated perspective a “gene therapy” must effect genes in some manner? Very early on in this debacle I looked at all of the injections and every single one of them USA China and Russian were called “experimental gene therapies” in their creation purpose and development. That was critical in my decision not to participate in the injections along with assorted BS like denial and suppression of effective early treatments and other things that didnt add up at all. Was I wrong in my assessment that all of these experimental injections effect genetic changes?

you’re welcome, friend. Thank you.
WRT genetic modification see my reply to Tim of a little while ago. Link below. Life is one continual, collective soup of genetic modifications that we call evolution. And then there’s regressive industrial biohacking.

convicted felon:
https://retractionwatch.com/2020/05/29/a-convicted-felon-wants-people-to-enroll-in-a-covid-19-clinical-trial-what-could-go-wrong/
I read the court listener document on Fleming’s appeal linked as a comment on retraction watch. Flemings trial appears to be a simple prosecution of admitted crime rather than blacklisting. There is mention of a wistleblower. I know a good number of felons who are reformed and contributing members of society using their expertise to improve society. We can discuss current efforts on the merits. I can understand how someone who loses face may want to burn the industry and gain attention. There is plenty of high quality content on deviation from standard pandemic protocol and off-label treatments.
And Hunter and Joe Biden?
I’m not to fussed about the mechanism of the cull…. as long as we get a minimum 6B
I want a 7.8B cull.
Imagine NZ with 125K people. Beach front house, plenty of fish and shellfish, plenty of hydroelectric.
Sadly no one to maintain your jet.
I do wonder where the people to run the hydro will come from .. and where they get the spare parts for the hydro and the grid that carries the electricity…
Let me put on my Doomie Hat…
There now that’s better … this is a magical hat … when a human puts it on all need for logic disappears… the electricity will magically emerge from the socket… the food will grow even in the chem dead soil… the nuclear plants in California and Japan won’t affect us cuz the oceans will stop that (or the mountains)….
When I wear the hat I begin to believe that UEP is too extreme – why kill everyone when we can just Cull 6B of them … and live 30 more years under BAU Lite….
Sometimes the hat tips off though and I remember GVB’s warnings and other doctors who said the golden rule of vaccination is do not mass vax into a pandemic… and I start to think the Cull is not where we are headed… although I do think a partial slow cull fits in with lockdowns etc… in that it does control our energy burn… every little bit helps to kick the can a little more….
But that this is not the end game… cuz I don’t see how BAU Lite is possible….
And then I fall back on UEP.
Dr. Campbell was confident that the lab leak idea was unfounded BECAUSE he’d been informed through peer reviewed papers in the Lancet, Nature, etc. Two years later, it turns out that those earlier papers were gravely in error.
Now Dr. Campbell feels deceived, let down, betrayed. He’s been “a voice of reason” throughout the pandemic, attempting to analyze and explain the data as it emerged, and for most of that time he didn’t question the honesty of the scientists and governments making the offical reports. So, now he’s as shocked as Peter Gabriel’s monkey at how much of what he trusted was untrustworthy.
Covid Lab Leak NOT a Conspiracy Theory: Dr. John Campbell Apologizes.
“Looking back, do I wish I’d questioned all these leading experts more…do I wish I had questioned the leading scientific journals more, at the time it would have been unthinkable…now I actually feel naïve for not questioning them more.” John also says he feels “a bit let down” by the world’s leading scientific journals and the usual trusted authorities.”
This is one of the most important videos he’s ever done and is well worth a listen.https://rumble.com/v1x266m-lab-leak-early-cover-up.html
Lots of people have assumed that what we hear from the CDC and so-called experts is the truth. Somehow, now, there are two versions of the truth, depending upon what the goal really is. With a shortage of inexpensive to produce energy, some people need to be left out. The particular version of the “truth” helps determine which people are left out.
The medical system, and in particular the vaccine distribution system, is adamant that it should get a significant cut of the resources available. The votes by the CDC and other medical “experts” are in this direction.
If people believe that it is helpful to stay at home, there is significant savings in fuel use. Food supplies go farther, because there is not the waste that comes from a double system that provides restaurant, school, and convention food in excess.
Scaring elderly people to stay at home has a high “return on human energy invested.” It tends to maintain itself, even after the hyped-up emergency has passed.
Encouraging people to stay back from work when they are ill is a good way to make businesses less efficient. They grow from added efficiency. Staying at home adds to inefficiency. Over the long term, this approach will lead to failing businesses, and less use of energy.
I was clear about the CDC version of the truth. Hospital and health system totalitarianism. What’s the second version of the truth? Staying at home to let the system decline? If so, people at home can be in dire need of the health system. How do you relate these two truths? artleads
