Are we headed for very high energy prices? Or, are we headed for a financial system that starts falling apart? The whole economic system may change remarkably. For example, what many people thought was money, or a promised pension plan, may not really be there when the time comes to get value from it. Shelves in stores may be empty when it comes time to make a purchase.
Most people do not understand that the world economy is a physics-based system, powered by energy. If the energy is suddenly much less available, there will be a huge problem. The world economy has been powered by a rapidly growing supply of energy for over 200 years.

My concern is that the current attempt to bring inflation down will lead to falling energy supply and a world economy that is rapidly changing for the worse.

Everything I can see says that world leaders are not able to face the possibility that the world is already running seriously short of oil and coal. Future supplies are likely to be much lower, and much more expensive, if they are available at all. Other energy types (including natural gas, nuclear, hydroelectric, wind and solar) are simply add-ons to a system built using coal and oil.
Current world leaders do not realize that the energy situation is very much like the water level in Lake Mead. Looking at it from the top, there still seems to be water there but, in fact, the required depth is lacking. Water for watering crops will soon be exhausted. The world’s energy supply is not a whole lot different. The supposedly proven reserves do not tell us anything at all. It is the amount of fossil fuels that can be affordably extracted that is important. We have already exceeded the amount that can be affordably extracted. If central banks cut back future energy supplies using higher interest rates, we can expect to encounter major problems going forward.
In this post, I will try to explain some of the issues involved.
[1] The amount of energy the economy requires depends very much on population. The greater the world population, the more oil is needed for food production and transportation. Non-oil energy is a bit more flexible in quantity than oil, but the total quantity of energy per capita needs to keep rising to prevent very adverse outcomes.

Figure 3 highlights the fact that the period of Rapid Energy Growth between 1950 and 1980 was a period of unprecedented growth in per capita energy consumption. This was a period when many families could afford their own car for the first time. There were enough employment opportunities that, quite often, both spouses could hold down paying jobs outside the home. It was the growing supply of inexpensive fossil fuels that made these jobs available.
If a person looks closely, it is possible to see that the 1920 to 1940 period was a period of very low growth in energy consumption, relative to population. This was also the period of the Great Depression and the period leading up to World War II. Sluggish energy consumption growth at that time was linked to very undesirable socioeconomic outcomes.
Energy is like food for the economy. If energy of the right kinds is cheaply available, it is possible to build new roads, pipelines and electricity transmission lines. World trade grows. If available energy is inadequate, major wars tend to break out and standards of living are likely to fall. We now seem to be approaching a time of too little energy, relative to population.
[2] Recently published data through 2021 indicates that energy consumption growth is not keeping up with population growth, similar to the situation of the 1930s. This says that the economy is doing poorly. Supply lines are broken; most jobs don’t pay well; many goods that normally would be available aren’t available.

Figure 4 shows that the year with the highest per capita energy consumption was 2018. This agrees with other information such as automobile sales.

For example, the number of automobiles sold seems to have peaked back in the 2018 period. China and India are both reporting fewer automobile sales recently. The economy was already sliding into recession in 2019. The 2020 shutdowns hid the very poor condition the world economy was already in. If people were forced to remain in their homes, they could not take to the streets to protest their poor wages and pension plans. The shutdowns helped give the impression the world economy was doing better than it really was.
Figure 4 shows that even with the bounce back in 2021, total energy consumption per capita is still below the 2018 and 2019 values. This contrasts with the situation that occurred after the 2008-2009 Great Recession. By 2010, per capita energy consumption was back above the 2007 and 2008 values.
[3] We can look back and see how rising interest rates were used to slow the world economy in the 2004 to 2006 period, and how different the economic situation was then compared to now. Even with the rapid growth the economy was making at the time of the interest rates increases, the result was still a deep recession in 2008-2009.

It is clear from Figure 4 and Figure 6 that between 2001 and 2007, the quantity of energy consumed per capita was rising rapidly. This was the period shortly after China was added to the World Trade Organization. Manufacturing was rapidly being moved to China. China’s demand for energy products of all kinds was rising rapidly. As a result of this greater demand, oil prices were increasing between 2001 and 2007. To try to reduce inflation, the Federal Reserve raised target interest rates in the 2004 to 2006 period and gradually brought them down, starting in late 2007.
There are two things that are striking about this earlier situation:
- The world economy (as shown by rising energy supply) was growing much more rapidly during the 2001 to 2007 period than it is in 2022. All the world economy is trying to do now is get back to where it was before the 2020 shutdowns, in terms of energy consumption per capita.
- Eventually, there was a bad reaction to the higher interest rates of 2004 to 2006, but this did not come until 2008-2009. This was a much longer lag than most people would expect.
Now, in 2022, we cannot get energy consumption per capita up to the 2018 and 2019 levels. There are many unfinished automobiles, waiting for missing parts. Appliances of many kinds are not available without a long wait. Fertilizer is often not available. Broken supply lines leave many store shelves empty. It is not that demand is unusually high; it is the supply of the energy products we need to grow food and to transport many finished goods that is not available.
Raising interest rates is a way to reduce the demand for finished goods and services, such as automobiles and appliances, if the world economy is growing very rapidly, as it was back in the 2001 to 2007 period. If the problem is an inadequate supply of finished goods and services (due to broken supply lines and low wages for workers), then raising interest rates is entirely the wrong medicine. It will cause even fewer automobiles and appliances to be made. It will cause many current workers to be laid off. Such an approach, when the world is trying to deal with too few workers, will tend to make the situation worse, rather than better.
[4] The trend in fossil fuel supplies is concerning. Both oil and coal are past peak, on a per capita basis. World coal supply has been lagging population growth since at least 2011. While natural gas production is rising, the price tends to be high and the cost of transport is very high.
Most energy charts are similar to Figure 7, showing energy consumption on a total product supplied basis, without reference to the size of the population using those resources.

Figure 7 indicates that coal supplies are, in some sense, the most troubled of the three types of fossil fuels. In the 2001 to 2007 period, China was able to ramp up its manufacturing using coal, but eventually those supplies ran short. In fact, coal supplies around the world started running short. Instead of telling us about the shortfall in production, we started hearing a story that sounds a lot like The Fox and the Grapes of Aesop’s Fables: Coal is a horribly polluting fuel which we don’t really want anyhow.
To understand how these quantities correspond to the world’s rising population, it is helpful to look at consumption divided by population, shown in Figure 8.

Figure 8 shows that oil consumption per capita was relatively stable up until 2019. Then, it suddenly dropped in 2020, and it has not been able to fully recover from that drop in 2021. In fact, we know that as oil production has tried to increase in 2022, its price has risen further. Of the years shown, 2004 was the year with the highest oil consumption per capita. That was back at the time that “conventional” oil production peaked.
Figure 8 shows that the peak production of coal, relative to world population, was in the year 2011. Now, in 2022, the least expensive coal to extract has been depleted. World coal consumption has fallen far behind population growth. The big drop-off in coal availability means that countries are increasingly looking to natural gas as a flexible source of electricity generation. But natural gas has many other uses, including its use in making fertilizer and as a feedstock for many herbicides, pesticides, and insecticides. The result is that there is more demand for natural gas than can easily be supplied.
[5] Governments and academic institutions have gone out of their way to avoid telling the world how important energy of the right types and in the right quantities is to the economy.
Politicians cannot admit that the world economy cannot get along without the right quantities of energy that match the needs of today’s infrastructure. At most, a small amount of substitution is possible, if all the necessary transition steps are taken. Each transition step requires energy of various kinds. For example, a small amount of intermittent wind can be added to the fossil-fuel generated electricity supply, if care is taken to ramp up fossil-fuel generated electricity to offset the lack of wind when there is a shortfall in supply. Otherwise, battery or other storage is needed for the wind energy until the wind energy is truly needed by the system.
Thus, most people today are convinced that the economy doesn’t need energy. They believe that the world’s biggest problem is climate change. They tend to cheer when they hear that fossil fuel supplies are being shut down. Of course, without energy of the right kinds, jobs disappear. The total quantity of goods and services produced tends to fall very steeply. In this situation, there is likely not enough food for all the people in the world. War is likely to break out over limited resources.
[6] Once the economy starts heading downward, it is not clear that the economy can ever “catch itself” and start back on an upward path again, even for a short while.
Back in 2001, the World Economy was able to get a “bail out” from China’s rapid growth in coal production, but as we have seen, world coal production is no longer growing as fast as population.
Back in about 2010 and 2011, growth in US crude oil from shale formations was able to temporarily bail out world oil supply, but now this is also failing. Also, even the recent “growth” shown is to a significant extent from the completion of “drilled but uncompleted” wells started earlier. Eventually, there are no more “DUCs” to complete.

In fact, despite all of the supposed high reserves of many kinds around the world, there is little evidence that the Middle East, or anywhere else, can actually raise production much higher.
Once the economy starts shrinking, debt defaults are likely to become a big problem. Banks will find their balance sheets impaired. They may be forced to close. Citizens with deposits may find that only part of their balance is available to spend.
Government programs will necessarily be forced to cut back to match the energy supplies that are available. For example, if road paving material is not available, roads cannot be repaved. If fuel cannot be found for school buses, students may need to learn at home.
Governments at all levels have promised pension plans. In fact, many employers have promised pension plans. Without a growing supply to cheap-to-produce energy, these promises are meaningless. Somehow, governments will find it necessary to cut back on their promises. Perhaps, Social Security and Medicare programs will be handed back to US States to fund, to the extent that the states have funds for these programs. Governments around the world can expect to face similar problems.
With less energy supply available, the whole world economy that we know today seems likely to start falling apart. Fewer goods will be available through international trade. It is cheap energy that has allowed today’s economy to function. Once this cheap energy is depleted, the world economy will need to shrink back in many ways, at once.
We don’t really know precisely what lies ahead, and perhaps, this lack of knowledge is for the best. We cannot even imagine a world economy changing rapidly for the worse.

On the other side of the fence is a paper from New Zealand, published last month. This is from the school of accounting, finance and economics at the University of Waikato, so whilst obviously they have no experience with viruses, they do know how to read the numbers correctly.
The paper is titled “The Rollout of COVID-19 Booster Vaccines is Associated With Rising Excess Mortality in New Zealand”.
The author states that the ratio of vaccine risk to benefits has likely swung more towards risk due to adverse events and because the immune response is to a variant that is no longer circulating.
He looks at aggregate weekly excess death data and estimates that there are 16 excess death per 100,000 booster doses. This totals 400 excess deaths in New Zealand with a value of statistical life of the excess deaths of over $1.6 billion.

I notice in the New Zealand study,
“the author found a close relationship between the booster rollout and rising excess mortality. However, he did not see the same relationship with the original vaccine rollout.”
MONKEYPOX now found in SALIVA (12 of 12 samples); Barcelona study authors say the initial cases in Britain, Portugal, and Spain have been mainly discovered among men who have sex with other men.

If Thatcher did not balk like a rabid dog to Kohl back in 1989, and Mitterand didn’t quote the bullshit line from Francois Mauriac (I like Germany so much that I want as many of them as possible), Germany would have come to the mantle to save Europe.
After being cheated by Woody Wilson in 1918 , and dismembered in 1945 there is no more fighting spirit remaining in Germany.
The bullshit countries created after 1918 proved to be worse than useless.
I think that Germany should have been promised Kaliningrad, the birthplace of Kant, back to Koenigsberg.
But USA didn’t do that because Poland would balk. Sure, there are a lot of Polish Americans . But they are mostly politically, economically and militarily irrelevant.
With no carrots, Germany has become just another failed state, asking Washington to bail it out. Yo reap what you have sown.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jul/19/a-wake-up-call-as-extreme-heat-blazes-across-uk-experts-say-net-zero-is-the-only-way-out
Predictable, but net zero would mean massive unemployment. The Netherlands farmers already protest against this policy. No more global dimming from fossil fuels pollution would only increase world temperatures. No solutions can really be found.
Right: No more global dimming if all fossil fuels stopped. This would tend to push temperatures higher.
So, do you think massive unemployment can be avoided forever? Regarding the stopping of fossil fuels, the latest science shows that would just about stabilise temperature at that higher level, after a short up step due to lack of aerosols.
I will celebrate by heaving another sack of coal into the Rayburn
And I will turn the air conditioner down from 26 to 25 degrees.

Mission Statement ‘we look for MOREONS fire-selling properties that they believe will soon be underwater in a few years’
Directors – A. Gore B. Obama L. DiCaprio.
Hmmmm….
In January 2019 the Arctic News website wrote this:
“Humanity is facing the final, western corporate capitalist, fossil fuel initiated, catastrophic Arctic methane hydrate destabilization and Permian style methane blowout – a firestorm that will culminate in 1 to 4 years (2020 to 2023).
We will all be boiled alive like lobsters in a massively humid atmosphere and converted into stardust.
Recent data from the Arctic confirm an exponential rise in the temperature anomaly of the Arctic stratospheric methane which is now 65 degrees C above the normal, while it was only 20 degrees C above the normal, 6 to 8 years ago.”
Later in 2019 came the terrible Australian fires.
Now I think, yes, the warming is suddenly too fast and extinction will come before 2030. But I have enjoyed my life and it does not matter.
This sounds “over the top” to me.
It’s called the “Clathrate Gun”, and it goes a little like this: As soon as sea water hits a certain temperature due to the Arctic sea ice disappearing in Summer, the sea bed is then able to warm. The methane clathrates found there then melt, and much of that gas is able to find its way to the atmosphere. Methane in a particularly nasty greenhouse gas which then holds in the heat and the the cycle becomes more vicious.
A similar function occurs for the permafrost. It may or may not be a problem, but there is evidence something similar to this occurred in the past and within years lead to one of the six great extinction events.
Oh Vern .. don’t get so worked up …. we are just about done burning fossil fuels…

Leo’s investment is safe hahaha

Ya I remember back in around 2005 reading Guy tell us the permafrost was all about to melt… and it still hasn’t hahahahahahahaha
If I wanted this MSM bullshit regurgitation recycled mass psychosis garbage… I’d go to the MSM (or Harry’s site?)
You are being distracted from the real situation https://www.headsupster.com/forumthread?shortId=220
Solar panels and EVs cannot provide a fake solution to this like they do your imagined problem.. so they need to keep you focused on a brush fire on the side of the highway in the UK
I spent half my day explaining how people are being run around by the nose by the MSM … and still.. and Still….
See how easy it is to be an Elder … once you realize most people are goy … (cattle) you are well on your way
I would like to make a prediction.
Weather will continue to occur whether we forecast it or monitor it or try to interfere with it or not. Weather will continue to characterize the Earth’s atmosphere even after the bones of the last dead human have been chewed and gnawed by the last pet dog. The weather will continue to weather the rocks, whether we desire it or not.
Whether or not you have enjoyed your life does not matter, but it’s nice to know you have. The world is good at disappointing every expectation, and so sustainable happiness is best cultivated by turning inwards towards the Source—as Yogananda and Jon Anderson would put it. If you can make a firm decision to be happy no matter what happens outside, the bastards will not be able to grid you down.
Within the Christian tradition, Ken Dodd said something similar:
(Warning: This song can be cringe-inducing.)
it amazes me how people have worked out that the CovCON is a scam — one of the tells is that every outlet globally is pounding out the same message and it focuses on fear fear fear…
the same global MSM pounds out the same message on kkklimate screaming – we better stop or in 2 years or whatever we are doomed — then they tell us stopping means a full transition to EVs and Solar Wind power… something that I think every person on OFW understands is not possible..
Yet there are so many who are captured by this utter bullshit that in two years we’ll be underwater…
I guess they’ve got a little norm in them huh?
hahahahahahaha
Your powers of far-sightedness are amazing. “Weather will continue to occur”. Fantastic. I guess no-one really thought of that until you posted your comment.
Jeez __ __ ing aside even a large wave would swamp this place WTF was he thinking?

The real resort is on a cliff 40 ft above the beach?
I am just throwing stuff out there …

Oh come now …. stooopid? Nobody can possibly be THIS stoooopid….
here’s Leo specifically warning about this in his 2016 documentary

Even Homer Simpson would know not to invest money in something that will soon be underwater
Hahhahahaahaha
It’s a SCAM – wake the f789 up people — or alternatively remain a sucker and get another Booster Shot hahahahahaha
It was in 2016 after a huge fire in Alberta that Paul Beckwith stated, “I do not like what I am seeing AT ALL. In my view, having studied rapid climate change for many years, our climate system is spiraling out of control”.
I did not believe that. Now it is Europe’s turn and I think he is right.
Possibilities:
1] Much of Europe turns to savanna or desert or both.
2] Worse, human extinction happens.
3] The emergency is temporary and usual weather returns.
What do you think? If 1 or 2, no human measures can stop this.
I think that climate always changes due to many many factors. All pretty much out of our control. If you believe that it is humans burning of FFs and you did not stop living a lifestyle that burns FFs then you have no reason to complain.
Simply get used to the change.
None of it matters as I think that Yellowstone is going to blow around 2030 and destroy most life on the planet so BAU till then if you can. 😉
We have a lot of things going wrong right now. We would hardly notice rising temperatures among the many other problems facing the world at this time. For example, farmers without fertilizer and without energy for irrigation are not going to be able to grow very much food, regardless of the ambient temperatures.
Setting off nuclear bombs is supposed to lower the temperature. Perhaps nuclear winter is what offsets the rising temperatures from other causes.
“We would hardly notice rising temperatures”
We don’t notice them until our house burns, or the houses 2 miles away.
OMG – I’ve got a big paddock out back – I could fill it with solar panels and a windmill!
Nah f789 that – only a MOREON does that. more coal … the 40kg sacks are a bit cumbersome but Fast Eddy is a Coal Stud so he can shift them without too much effort

Notice how the goobie wermers are red lining on losing their minds — hard to say if they are in a more agitated state than someone who wears 3 N95 masks and is 5x jabbed…
It’s close …
Imagine being captured by AGW – CovCON .. and throw in Ukele!!!! The anxiety metre would explode hahaha… such a person would be walking around in an epic state of fear and paranoia…
You guys know that prolonged fear states is very stressful and weakens the immune system and causes all sorts of other Bad Shit in the body…. I guess ya’s don’t care though cuz we are entering the Armageddon many times over
Ever tried sniffing a dog’s arse?
And here we see the MSM running the MOREONS around by the nose… again.
All these recent “orange films” (of wildfires) are not deep fakes. The flames were only two miles away from me today. Next time, who knows?
Maybe the PR Team had someone start them alongside the highway….
And there have never been fires before .. hmmmmm….
Dry hot weather happens. Has always… happened.
I am being kind for the moment .. cuz I am in a good mood after reading this https://boriquagato.substack.com/p/are-covid-vaccines-the-superspread
Hot dry weather has always happened. But the weather in any one place doesn’t repeat every year. In some parts of the world, they get dry years, or runs of dry years, or dry decades from time to time. That has always happened too. And dry decades can be civilization ending, for a regional civilization.
I am reminded of the story of Joseph and the Pharaoh and the dream of the seven fat cows followed by the seven thin cows, and of the plagues of Egypt that Charlton Heston warned Yul Brynner about.
fromoasa…I pick 3.
“fromoasa…I pick 3.”
I hope that I live to see it.
Why China will never be the leading country in the world?
Because of the language.
In todays ageing world, the leading countries (i.e. the core) are dependent on the immigration. But China with its archaic language and characters, which is hard to learn, is destined to faster implosion.
The easy language and alphabet are among the top reasons why the West dominates the world.
Or are you ready to learn Chinese?
Or Russian.
Believe it or not I was once told by a Russian friend that Russian is “easy” for English speakers to learn because “It has Latin root”. I did not argue the point with him because I know how foolish it is to argue with a Russian. They are natural-born debaters.
I wrote this based on Tony Blairs recent statements:
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukraine-war-shows-wests-dominance-is-ending-china-rises-blair-says-2022-07-17/
He seems to be succumbing to senility…
Tony Blair doesn’t seem to be very aware of China’s current problems, from declining energy supplies of its own, to increasing cost of energy supplies from elsewhere, to falling population, to huge debt problems because of problems in the real estate industry spilling over to banks and citizens stopping payment. Pollution and inadequate water supplies are also major issues. China is doing less badly than the UK, but it has huge problems of its own.
When my husband and I visited Russia, we discovered that as soon as we figured out how to transliterate Russian characters into the corresponding English sounds, we could often figure out what the words were.
For example, the word restaurant in Russian is “ресторан,” which is pronounced “restoran.” We found quite a few words that were very close in sound, even if the alphabet is different.
Learning Chinese seems to require a huge amount of memorization. The complex characters give you no clue regarding how the character is pronounced. In fact, people from different parts of China may have entirely different ways of pronouncing the words. One young man from Inner Mongolia explained to me that his first challenge, when he decide to attend college in Beijing, was learning to speak the language the people in Beijing speak. He also needed to learn English.
I have always supported the idea that Russia is Europe from hystorical, cultural, artistic and social point of view.
While China is completely another world.
Very distant for us European, more than Middle east is or even Africa.
It is very difficult to understand what is going to happen to us with all these strange changes that we are experiencing.
Well said Student.
The irony is, as the collective West rapidly declines and Russia rises, the best preservation of the remnants of European culture in most of its forms will be in Russia, centred around St Petersburg yes but in all of Russia.
God has a sense of humour .
Been thinking that “preservation of the remnants of European culture ” could happen in Africa too, a designation with as yet no unified national status or clear geographical boundary
Try Thailand … the speak a derivative of the Martian dialect from Mars Attacks…
Cup kook ka naka ack ack ack….
Is that your Thai masseur asking – want any extras?
oh my, if only Germany and Russia could become friends again….
Don’t you just love the way that rolls off the tongue… it’s one of my favourite Russian words..
Pectopah… Pectopah — I often say to M Fast — let’s go to a Pectopah tonight …
Do you think Slovak will take the place? It is kinda similar to Esperanto.
English is easy to learn for everybody. There are less lengthy words and complicated constructions than in German. That is why you see English engulfing all cultures. Japan is a very good example.
Have to disagree MG
1) Whilst the initial internalisation of Cyrillic takes a while, and the fact that only one vowel is stressed per word, so lots of “o”s are reduced to to an “a” sound, the language is FAR more logical and consistent than the arbitrary historical monstrosity that is modern English, where every ‘rule’ confuses learners more than it helps
2) People learn whatever language efficiently gets them what they need
3) Russian is currently the 5th most spoken language in the world. Go travelling anywhere in Africa or Eurasia and many people will not know English but will know some Russian. In fact, it is only in the collective West (and to some extent, South America) that there is a profound ignorance of the Russian language.
4) in the future the common languages will likely be Russia, Arabic and, more limited, Chinese. English will certainly survive, but probably will probably tag one as coming from an impoverished background.
The reason why Esperanto is not successful is that there is no Esperanto nation and English is easy enough.
Russia is on the perifery, despite its resources. You need end products for everyday life and with lower energy supply less resources can be extracted and processed to end products.
In my view the spread of a language is connected with the power of the emperor behind that and with the number of people talking that language, no matter of the complexity of that language.
Ancient Latin is very complicated, I studied at school.
Nevertheless it was the widespread language in Europe till the middle age.
So I think that we will be talking English for a long time, even if the emperor US+UK will collapse.
Another language will take at least a couple of generation to arise.

It is 39 degrees here in the shire right now. It hit 40 for the first time on record in UK. I managed to sleep last night, unlike the night before, on top of the sheet and with a large fan at the foot of the bed and blowing right along me. I _so_ needed that sleep. It is sweltering right now but it will drop to about 22 by 2 am, which will be a massive relief, and ‘cooler’ tomorrow. Phew!
Let’s head over to Italy for some sunny music today.

Saudi Arabia Reveals Oil Production Capacity Limits
The catch is that on an ongoing basis, Saudi Arabia cannot produce anything like 12 million barrels per day. One estimate I have heard is 10.3 million barrels per day, average, is closer to its current real capacity. Adding only 1 to 1.5 million bpd doesn’t do much for the world supply by 2027.
They are starting to violate Huppert’s empirical laws, IMHO. They peaked in the 1970s after all, and this is 47 years later. I suspect they are just reselling Russian oil in the few mbpd range.
Advanced reservoir management and throttling perhaps?
According to a former employee of Saudi Aramco whom I a have talked to, Saudi Arabia has a lot of already extracted oil stockpiled in tank farms and on ships. Not all of the tank farms are even in Saudi Arabia. Once a demand comes for more oil (indirectly because of high price) the Saudis can sell some of this oil, which (in Saudi Aramco’s method of accounting, has not yet been produced). Saudi Arabia can temporarily ramp up production using this stored pre-production. In fact, now with the purchase of Russian oil, there is the possibility of another source that can be made to look like Saudi Arabia’s current production.
But ongoing current production is not that high.
I think that understanding that Saudi Arabia is probably re-selling Russian oil is another key achievement of this fantastic blog
I think that Saudi Arabia may, in fact, be using some of the Russian oil for its own purposes, such as burning it to produce electricity. This will leave more Saudi Arabian oil to sell to others. The result is more exports of Saudi oil.
It probably would be harder to hide oil that is simply imported and re-exported. But I don’t really know for certain. If different types of oil are mixed together, they may be able to resell the oil.
It’s amazing the stuff one learns when one spends 20 hours per day on OFW SS and Telegram…. most of the comments on SS are worthless though— not in a ZH kinda way … they mean well…
But they are poisoned with all sorts of stories spewed by the PR Team to keep everyone off of the scent of UEP — 5G towers… transhumanism… Great Resets etc etc… everyone believes at one flavour of bullshit — nobody points to the energy problems
Well, at least He spoke some truth….from your article link…
At the Jeddah summit, the Saudi crown prince also criticized the growing backlash against fossil fuels, saying that “The adoption of unrealistic policies to reduce emissions by excluding major sources of energy without taking into account the resulting impact of these policies on the social and economic pillars of sustainable development and global supply chains will lead in the coming years to unprecedented inflation, rise in energy prices, increase unemployment and exacerbate serious social and security problems, including an increase in poverty and famine and crime rates, extremism and terrorism.”

Heat waves are dominating summer, killing thousands, and fueling wildfires. The world needs to prepare for more.
Morgan McFall-Johnsen
Mon, July 18, 2022 at 8:41 PM
Currently, Europe is simmering in its third heat wave of the summer, fueling devastating wildfires and threatening millions of people. On Sunday alone, Portugal and Spain reported more than 1,000 heat-related deaths. In France, thousands of people fled wildfires. One United Kingdom airport suspended flights after its runway melted, according to Sky News, and another after its runway buckled in the heat. Wales recorded its highest temperature ever. UK meteorologists expect still higher temperatures on Tuesday.
On the whole, rising global temperatures are making heat waves more common, severe, and lengthy. The 2018 National Climate Assessment found that the frequency of US heat waves has tripled since the 1960s, and that the average heat-wave season has increased by 45 days. The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change expects a similar trend across the planet.
Simultaneous large heat waves are becoming the norm…NORM…oh no…
Like Gail has pointed out repeatedly, I agree, with upwards of 8 billion humans roaming about, it is out of our hands…enjoy today with family and friends, as our Gail recommends…
PS. I care not WHY..you all can debate about it…but based on the data the climate is changing like it has done many times in Earth’s past History..
One of Gail’s favorite authors Dr Peter Ward, who wrote “Rare Earth”, also addressed the topic in his book “Under a Green Sky”…
A convenient distraction from the real problems at hand.
“… is changing like it has done many times in Earth’s past History.”
excellent.
since this change now seems to have eliminated any chance of any ice age from appearing in the upcoming centuries and millennia.
people living centuries after the collapse of IC will probably not understand the huge benefit that nature endowed to them.
it’s all good.
Ya know all the tranny stuff happening in the US — how odd that a hockey mate told me earlier that his 5 yr old daughter’s class had a tranny in drag visit the class a few weeks ago – he expressed his displeasure to the teacher who said ‘It’s part of the curriculum now we have no choice’
Seems like some sort of global initiative… just like all the heat waves (when ever year there are heat waves – the worst ones were during the dust bowl years decades ago)
Oh and the tranny was reading a book about transitioning … wooo hoooo!!!
The ‘stars may be aligning’ for EU survival on Thursday…. interest rates vs. inflation rate vs war in UKR and China ‘slow down’.
> Europe’s future set to be decided in the next few days
This is the week that could shape the fate of Europe for a decade or more, with the fallout from the war in Ukraine colliding with key moments for eurozone monetary policy and the political crisis in Italy.
Thursday is looming as the critical day, with the European Central Bank (ECB) poised to raise interest rates in the eurozone for the first time in a decade and all of Europe – Germany in particular – waiting anxiously to see whether Russia resumes supplies of gas that have been cut off for 10 days while the key Nord Stream 1 pipeline has been undergoing scheduled annual maintenance.
A day earlier, Mario Draghi, who offered his resignation as prime minister last week after the broad coalition of national unity that he leads splintered, will address the Italian parliament.
If he does resign, it could force an election in a country that is almost ungovernable and financially unstable, with a parliament riddled with numerous fractious factions and a debt-to-GDP ratio of more than 150 per cent in an environment of rising interest rates and weakening economic activity.
This week will therefore be critical for the traditionally strongest economy in the eurozone, Germany, which relies on Russia for about 60 per cent of the gas that powers its energy-intensive economy, and Italy, which is acutely vulnerable to higher interest rates.
Somehow, the ECB has to reconcile the necessity of bringing a rampant inflation rate – it is running at 8.6 per cent – with the threat to the weaker southern European economies like Italy and Greece (debt-to-GDP ratio approaching 200 per cent) of higher interest rates and tightening credit conditions.
Already the spreads between Italian and Greek government 10-year bonds have blown out against Germany’s bund yields to more than 200 basis points, which is the level that flashes dangerous territory for their economies and eurozone stability.
The ECB has been working on an “anti-fragmentation tool” and might provide some details of its plans to manage an otherwise dangerous and destabilising divergence in sovereign debt costs on Thursday.
Historically, that has meant using the strength of the northern European economies, Germany’s in particular, to prop up those in the south by heavy central bank buying of their bonds to keep a lid on their bond yields.
Whether that is as feasible if Germany’s economy, indeed the entire eurozone, is driven into deep recession by insufficient gas supplies, is an open question.
…. The far higher energy costs and the slowing global economy – particularly the weakness in China – are already taking a toll on Europe’s powerhouse export economy. After more than 30 years of continuous trade surpluses, Germany recorded a €1 billion trade deficit in May.
The impacts of the war in Ukraine complicate an already complicated situation for the ECB. Hiking interest rates even as eurozone economies slide towards recession, or worse, isn’t particularly palatable but sustaining an inflation rate that heading towards 9 per cent is even less so.
https://www.smh.com.au/business/banking-and-finance/europe-s-future-could-be-decided-in-the-next-few-days-20220719-p5b2mv.html
It is almost like Germany is the imperial center and it can hold together the EU empire only in so far as it can afford to do so, which depends chiefly on its energy situation.
The existence of the EU is putting pressure on UK survival, with the Irish Sea border in NI, and Scotland eyeing EU membership as a substitute for tight ties with UK.
Historically Britain worked for several centuries to avoid any strong, central power on the continent (balance of power) and successfully so before WWII.
USA and UK clearly did provoke the UKR conflict within attempts to weaken EU ties with both Russia and China.
USA presumably wants EU under its control – and UK maybe wants it gone.
EU failed to assert an independent geopolitical position from USA, which means that it is at the mercy of the self-interest of others.

A couple of days and we will all find out. There is not much point in prognosticating too much about what is about to happen anyway lol.
> EU budget commissioner says it isn’t expecting Nord Stream to restart
The European Commission doesn’t expect gas supplies to Europe from Russia through the Nord Stream pipeline to restart when scheduled maintenance ends this week, Commissioner Johannes Hahn said Tuesday.
“We’re working on the assumption that it doesn’t return to operation,” he told reporters on the sidelines of a conference in Singapore.
The pipeline closed a week ago for maintenance that was expected to last 10 days, with July 21 pegged for its reopening. The closure has stoked fears in Europe that the Kremlin could end supplies in retaliation for sanctions against its invasion of Ukraine.
Mr. Hahn, commissioner for budget and administration, was in Singapore to promote a European Union investment and recovery plan. The bloc is hoping to raise around 800 billion euros ($811.56 billion) from domestic and foreign investors over the next few years.
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/european-commission-doesn-t-expect-nord-stream-to-restart-271658221584?mod=mw_latestnews
The latest news from anonymous ‘sources’ seems to be that NS1 will return to the 40% flow like before July 11. We will soon find out soon enough.
> …. The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue, told Reuters the pipeline was expected to resume operation on time, but at less than its capacity of some 160 million cubic metres (mcm) per day.
Kremlin-controlled energy giant Gazprom (GAZP.MM), cut gas exports through the route to 40% capacity last month, citing delays in the return of a turbine Siemens Energy (ENR1n.DE) was servicing in Canada.
“They (Gazprom) will return to the levels seen before July 11,” one of the sources said of the gas volumes expected via Nord Stream 1 from Thursday.
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/exclusive-russia-seen-restarting-gas-exports-nord-stream-1-schedule-2022-07-19/
Of course Gazprom gonna “fart” NS occasionally. Those russkie war machines and fireworks need crucial components such as FPGA’s, CMOS and MEMS sensors, GPU’s and microprocessors.
Gonna be expensive though.
I do wonder if the ‘muricans gonna allow for that?
I’m sure it is possible to add MEMS “kinetic” toggle switches in the semiconductors. Nothing drastic, just a bit of random failures if they’re not handled with care and definitely not following a ballistic trajectory.
😑👍👍
Anyway…
🤔
Oh so Q4 might be a long shot?
This week will be a very interesting one for Germany and Europe in general. Will natural gas flow really restart? What will happen with EU interest rates? The world situation energy situation is so tight, many things could fall apart suddenly.
A E.T experiencer is so for life and their children become experiencers. The E.Ts say that the children belong to them. The E.Ts now also say that the experiencers are hybrids. Many of the experiencers are scientists who have created our modern technological hybrid world.
Uri Geller is an experiencer. CIA has studied his psychic abilities and concluded that they are exceptional. His remote viewing ability was phenomenal. They called him a star and created a remote viewing program named Star Gate.
Here Uri Geller demonstrates his exceptional psychic abilities on the Johnny Carson show:
As if an “alien” meddling with a rapacious primate would be perceivable for that specimen. That would take some serious grounding in Ultimate Reality to notice any irregularities.
It just doesn’t happen in signal substance soaked systems “busy” with egotistical fantasies.
If there is any “communication”, it is through meditation. The yogic lore seem full of that stuff.
But WTF do I know.
Time to turn the cranks after chucking the oats.
Here in Salem, Massachusetts, the shops have many psychic readers selling their wares. Salem is the home of the witch trials, years ago. It is popular tourist area.
Back to 1692 we go. My ex wife, had unknown to me filed an “assault on a female” charge over 3 years ago, totally bogus, in her attempt to preserve her status to remain in the US on a Green Card . Claiming domestic violence and assault on a female, a class 1A misdemeanor felony, will prevent her from being deported, whether it is true or not, that is what she thinks. I was completely blindsided with the arrest two months ago, and unaware that there had been a warrant out for my arrest. The police had failed to carry it out— and that was before this COVID, BLM, Defund the Police nonsense had started. The police were at full force, full pay, full pension and eating their doughnuts at the time. My ex of course has known my exact location at all times and would stop by to pick her up for visitation. I had just divorced her, and my daughter had remained in my legal and physical custody.
Now, 3 years later after having left western NC, the police arrive at my office now on the coast of NC because of a trespasser, I was the one who got arrested and had to spend an automatic 2 days in jail! My bunk mate had full blown schizophrenia and got in trouble when he consumed too much alcohol. A nice guy who should not have been there. Another inmate was there pending trial on a bogus charge when exculpatory video footage, he claimed, existed. He was a NCSU former wrestler and NC state wrestling champ in highschool, and a trucker, so we had a lot to discuss. Interesting take how one guy age 70, black, very religious, claimed he was there because he was, at age 70, fishing in NC without a license. (Don’t think you need to pay for one if you are older than 65.) NC wardens are exempt from most “laws” of requiring a search warrant to enter your house. They can enter claiming they suspect you of poaching or hunting without a license and can search your house and seize your guns. Years ago they almost arrested me because I had taken my then age 3 year old daughter fishing complete with her Barbie fishing pole claiming I was fishing, with her Barbie pole, without a license. Armed to the teeth and very macho. I need to follow up on this to verify the extent of their powers.
But anything that the government can’t “legally” do, they will create a “rogue agency” to carry out its dirty work. Whether the FED, CDC, FDA etc. In my memoirs a section is entitled “Rogue Agencies Everywhere. ” And legally, agencies like State Medical Boards are granted Chevron Defence to pursue their agendas. The argument on appeals, even though the case is purely based on a fundamental legal issue of having no evidence, ZERO, to support its complaint, the Appeals Court (KY) will rely on Chevron Deference: “Great deference must be granted to State Medical Boards because they have the most knowledge in the practice of medicine.” Why have the State Medical Practice Act? Why have a legal system when the statutes, rule of law, even the most basic Common law priciciples are ignored?
I have had to drive from the coast back to Asheville across the state (7hrs each way) just to get a court date. Now I have to return again this August for “trial.” Of course there is no evidence. No material, inculpatory, direct, indirect, circumstantial or probable cause evidence to support her naked accusation. It goes back to the 1692 Salem Witch trials. 14 women and 5 men hanged on mere accusations of withcraft and socery. One man crushed to death because he reportedly refused to enter a plea.
I visited Salem years go when I spent a summer up in Bostons North Shore in Beverly, Peabody, Danvers etc.
The main accuser/ chief “witness” in the Salem witch trials was a 17year old female by the name of Elizabeth Hubbard.
As I peacefully prostested in Columbia, the state capitol of SC in 2020 at the Trump stop the steal rally, my sign read:
We need 4 things:
We need honest money.
We need honest media.
We need honest elections.
We need honest rule of law.
Never mind addressing what we have coming down the line, i.e., escalating conflicts over water, natural resources, food, and energy. If we don’t have the above 4 essentials of society, we have no chance.
And my final axioms, with all the ramifications that are enabled by the above four:
1. Government always gets bigger.
2. There is never enough money.
3. The government will do whatever it takes to get more money.
You find out where the people you hang with stand. Do they call the cops? If they do you dont hang with them. Its not because you break the law or are immoral. Its because they never solve anything. They themselves know this. By asserting that you dont call cops and asking the same from others you commit to finding solutions. Its not perfect. The criminal justice system however does not solve problems. If somthing really bad goes down of course the cops get called.
The police know 7 times out of ten someone calls the cops they are just using the criminal justice system out of malice. Thats why they are so suspicious of people calling. From dispatch to the street they doubt everything.
Most people are unacquainted with the criminal justice system. They see themselves as “good” so obviously the cops are their allys. They dont understand when they get the criminal justice system involved and it makes things worse. The cops see only one group as good. Cops. Everyone else gets force. Thats what they do. Ive known three young men who became cops. They were bright motivated and cared. Two years on the force and they trusted only other cops.
police “force”
“enforcement”
Lawyers dont care about facts. Facts are malleable thats how they make their living. Two lawyers. one truth. So a lawyer is lieing half the time. You pay a lawyer to be in the club. Your not in the club but you have given $ to someone who is. The rest is a game. The judge determines who played the game best. Then the judge the DA and the defense attorney have lunch and cut a deal. Thats a good lawyer! Last thing you want is a lawyer not having lunch with the DA and Judge! They have you by the balls. How hard they squeeze is a function of how much you pay. Its not real important who they have by the balls except people with money are better. Once in the meat grinder you pay. Everyone knows this the cops, the DA , the JUdge. The only people who dont know are people who have never encountered the criminal justice system. Thats why they get into trouble trying to navigate it. Criminals calls the cops all the time. Criminals calling to use the criminal justice system to use its force for their own reasons are most of the calls. Thats one of the reasons the cops are so jaded and the ones that actually care prefer to just eat doughnuts.
One place you mention,
“Armed to the teeth and very macho”
I expect that these characteristics raise the awareness that the police have of you.
Also, your ex-wife’s actions sound very strange to me, unless her main interest in life is/was “looking out for myself.” If her main concern was, “Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you,” she would not act this way.
I agree with you that force is likely used way too much especially when resource shortages are a problem. At the same time, I suspect that some people’s approach to life make them more likely to get into the way of this force. Thinking as an actuary, if insurance were sold for “false arrest,” you and your ex-wife would both be charged fairly high rates.
Hubbs laments are not uncommon amongst those that import Asian wives. I do know someone married quite happily to a Thai girl for many years. He hit pay dirt on number five. First four imports didnt work out. Oh and I know another successful Filipino long term marriage. Gorgeous woman. First time success. And lots and lots of green card and gone.
As far as “armed to the teeth”. Everyone and their cousin is armed to the teeth in the USA. A dogcatcher uses techniques not to get bit. Its part of his trade. Part of being a professional is that the dog never gets a chance to bite. It doesnt matter if its the mangiest mutt or the purest pedigree. Police are the same. Its NEVER a good idea to scare the police. I have a philosophy in regards to law enforcement. I avoid them. If they are going hither I go thither. In the rare occasion I get pulled over I keep my hands where they can be seen. I instruct passengers to do the same. I am polite but curt. If they fish “what are you doing in Scottsdale?” I respectfully tell them I do not consent to a conversation.I have nothing to hide but conversations with law enforcement are not mandatory they are consensual. I have no desire to have a consensual conversation with law enforcement. My choice. Why would i prolong the interaction? If they insist i will give them one piece of information no more. This has always de-escelated. I think they respect this even though they are irritated they can not fish. Of course I do get cited.
Wrong right up down left right. It doesnt matter. You do not want to get involved with the criminal justice system.
I know people who are aggressive with cops. A lot of times they get a pass. Sometimes they end up dog piled and pepper sprayed and it costs them $5k or so. Basically endless probation also along with various bodily injuries. No injuries to police. Their PO rolls eyes. Their family rolls eyes. I roll eyes. Seriously again? Your not 19. They are quite proud of these events. It proves they are a bad dog. They still got it. A good time is had by all. No substantial reason for it they have great legal income. Not hard when your built like bigfoot. I suppose the proof is in the pudding but not my cup of tea at all. Thus I am considered a poodle they a pit bull. I am 100% OK with that.
Trying to reason with the mob is like trying to convince the mob that covid was initially just like another flu — or that man’s impact on the kkklimate is minimal…
Absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. Never in a million years can you get them to accept facts or logic
Hubbs – this is one wild ass tale! Never been to jail … could be an adventure… so long as nobody tries to rear end you eh… I assume that’s only what happens in the Big House (pen).
If you really want to Amp this Situation to the Hilt … get some high grade and start hanging around VIP lounges… all sorts of trouble and adventures would result — and don’t forget to visit OFW from time to time to update us.

I’d rather be you than norm … definitely
Stop tryharding.
If you absolutely can’t be alone:
1. Don’t get married until you know what you’re dealing with. Be a bit deceptive. Trust but verify
2. Install hidden video cameras. It’s the burglar “alarm” system, stupid
3. Give it some time on a tourist visa (short enough for a green card not to materialize), if it seems “fake”, just wait for it and once she slaps you in the face, etc., after some mild and sinister provocations, show her the video and then the door
4. Next

The virus infects both B and T cells
The virus is worse than airborne HIV
The virus nukes our immune system… our internal organs… and trashes up our blood vessels
How long before people start to die off large numbers? Perhaps 7 years after first infection?
Unlike HIV, SARS-CoV-2 is not a retrovirus; it does not insert into the DNA. So it can be cleared and there’s no reason to expect immune depletion (lymphocytopenia) as the base case – it is something that *can* happen in acute cases.
In fact, many viruses can infect immune cells. Once the T and B cell responses become engaged, however, it is harder for the virus to replicate and the human usually wins.
You may want to read this:
https://www.mdpi.com/1467-3045/44/3/73/htm
I saw that paper when it came out. That is the vaccine (BNT162b2), not the virus, that is being integrated.
The spike protein in the vaccine is codon optimized, so its DNA sequence doesn’t event match the real virus, so there is essentially no genetic overlap between the vaccine and virus. That means there is virtually no connection between the two from a DNA-integration standpoint and no reason to expect that the virus performs DNA integration on account of the vaccine doing so.
Nature has found various pathways to integrate and incorporate genetic (DNA)information into the nucleus. It seems to be the rule rather than the exception. It gives tremendous selection advantage in natural selection. Probably the greatest enabler of adaptation and reproductive fitness is sexual reproduction, whereby two individuals could intermingle /combine DNA.This gave an infinte source of variability and dramatically increased adaptablity. This is especially seen with resistance of bacteria to antibiotics-
far greater than insertion of bacteriophages, direct bacteria-to bacteria-exchanges, plasmids, simple asexual division/replication, etc.
The same principle may apply to viruses. It is not whether the enire natural virus or any part of its RNA or DNA (depending on the type) gets inside the host cell. It seems that nature has already provided for numerous ways to introduce genetic material, in snippets, whether by reverse RNA transcriptase for RNA or direct DNA import, into the nucleus. Granted, most genetic mutations are dead ends and deleterious, but if they are not, then the survival reproductive advantage, viral or cellular, is enormous and overcomes the statisical odds.
My casual opinion as a retired surgeon, but NOT a microbiogist or geneticist, is that COVID, (not the natural Sars Cov2 virus itelf, but the weaponized spike protein) was NOT as lethal as they had hoped. The CDC and big pharma now have rely on a “medical PONZI”- the need to recruit more injectees to overcome the natural acquired herd immunity- whether through mass formation psychosis, corrupting the data/ reporting systems, generating more spike proteins, conflating effects of lipid nanoparticle toxicity with the realtively benign COVID Sars 2 virus morbidity and mortality. For now even these future “die offs” remain to be seen. I am still on the look out, sifting through the corrupt data, for the late effects of immune suppression leading to an increase in other infectious diseases and an uptick in cancers. But just the patent office records alone suggest that work has focused almost exclusively on the spike protein and the deleterious delivery system hitchikers in these vaccines for decades. Forget the natural virus itself. It is just the Trojan Horse. Focus on the spike protein and the delivery ssytem for the injections.
Ivanslav;
I appreciate your comments. Informed debate is always valuable. You are quite knowledgeable. Certainly much more than me. Where do you stand on the injections? I think its simply amazing that such novel and untested therapy was advocated with emergency authorization. The reason I ask is I think its valuable that any individual aspect of the injection is debated but overall I feel the evidence is overwhelming that they are unsafe and ineffective. So for better or worse if you are a injection advocate I would give your analysis less value because I think the evidence to the contrary is so overwhelming. I appreciate your sharing your technical knowledge on individual injection topics very much but would like to know where you stand. Its like this. Theres a elephant in the room. Someone asserts its poop doesnt smell. Ivanslav says actually it does. But do you acknowledge that there is a elephant in the room?
I think there are plenty of reasons for caution and I refuse to take it and urged my family members not to. In a nutshell, it appears to me net harmful. However, we also haven’t seen the sort of widespread death and destruction that many here fear and I’m hoping that stays the case … my parents and most friends are jabbed and/or boosted.
Everything about the situation just screams “don’t do it!”: the biodistribution data, past animal studies of coronavirus vaccines causing mortality, more people dying in the original Pfizer vaccine group than the control group, the coercion by government to take it, the media control, now-proven myocarditis/pericarditis, novelty of the technology, the weirdness of having a protein sequence of unknown purpose in the reverse-complement of the RNA sequence (not widely reported) in the vaccine, etc etc etc.
Just have a little patience… keep calm… and read this

Good. You are real. Probably.
That
is true.
Man, the commenters on that page are cancer, and the cancer is midwitism
I noticed this sentence from the article:
“Our data may suggest that SARS-CoV-2-infected CD14+CCR2+ and CD14+CD16+CCR2+ monocytes could act as ‘Trojan horses’ and traffic viruses to secondary sites of infection, where SARS-CoV-2 causes severe tissue damage. Further studies will be required to clarify whether SARS-CoV-2-positive lymphoid–mononuclear cells in lung tissue become infected in the lung or migrate into the affected tissue from the bloodstream already infected.”
This is over my head. A large number of Brazilian authors were involved in writing this article. If it took some time to be published, there probably were peer review issues involved.
I had the virus and my immune system does not appear to be damaged… I feel like Pure Blooded Stud still…
But everyone around me is vaxxed up — and they are sick as dogs all the time…

An article on the increase in nuclear fusion investment. I hope we have escaped the lull in technology development in the world of atoms (as compared with the world of bits and bytes).
https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Investment-In-Nuclear-Fusion-Is-Exploding.html
People can see that we have an energy problem, so this kind of investment looks attractive. I am afraid that it is much too late to be helpful.
People are finding out we can not violate the laws of thermodynamics. So investment is exploding to try and see if we can violate electrostatics laws.
Isn’t fusion just another method to release a form of potential energy that is untapped under normal physical conditions? Why does that violate a physics? This is not my area, but I doubt physicists (the highest IQ group by graduate school admission) are just making up something so basic.
IQ link: https://www.religjournal.com/pdf/ijrr10001.pdf
Protons have to touch to fuse. A proton has a radius of one fermi, 10^{-15} meters. You can readily calculate that they repel each other with one pound of force, all concentrated in a subatomic particle. It is not going to happen.
At first, I thought fission disproves your argument on fusion. I thought fission depends on nuclei colliding, but found out it’s actually neutrons that collide with nuclei, so charge repulsion isn’t an issue.
Anyway, I’m going to have to look more into how fusion is supposed to work and then either celebrate its potential or prepare a bunker.
A hydrogen bomb is a fusion device.
Happens in thermonuclear bombs.
Not sure if it is possible to get it going without a fission device first creating the pressures (compression) and temperatures for fusion.
How many ITER’s would it require to contain the blast from the first stage (fission) of the puniest thermonuclear device in the arsenal.
That would sort of give a rough estimate.
🤔
Yes, you are getting it. To overcome such a strong repulsion you have to use energies so high that they can not be controlled.
Or use some form of electromagnetic trickery. Brute forcing controllable fusion seems intractable.

NYC Monkeypox Cases Double Again
“As of Monday, July 11, 223 people in the city have tested positive for orthopoxvirus (see below) and all likely have monkeypox, according to the city’s Health Department. That is up from 111 cases on July 5 and more than quadruple the number from a week prior to that.”

Hmm. Sodomy and orgies would appear to be rife in NYC: how shocking!
It isn’t the sodomies and orgies. It is that participants are not following the social distancing rules. Do as you wish, just keep it six feet apart.

US life insurance claims are THREE TIMES GREATER than usual in 2021.
The alleged pandemic year (2020) resulted in a 6% increase over 2019. That might even be in the noise. Those dying “with Covid19” are uncommonly “from covid19”, but in any case are mostly in the elderly & already ill.
Life insurance payouts attached to employment is the source of the huge rise, people 18-64.

What a timely post. I have been a busy beaver on other substacks today pretty much in the same headspace. I think we are in the phase of a die off and millions of people who are constantly getting sick because of these shots. I keep saying. Where are all the people? Every industry seems to be collapsing right now due to a shortage of people. I live in British Columbia, Canada and our health care system is in chaos. Our BC Ferries are barely able to keep up and as of today they reported over 500 employees called in sick. I believe the number of sick vaccinated hospital employees are faring no better. I actually read on Canadian mainstream news the other day that getting covid once a month may be the norm. At this point it’s not inconceivable to image companies looking for unvaccinated people to hire or hire back because they may actually make it to work every day and keep the place, entity running.

Delusional…

They will never realize that.. never ever. With all my interactions with them… never…

Therefore the vax is good and refusing is bad. And “we” can’t hire bad people; now can we?

Think about that.

Patience is virtue.
I generally don’t watch MSM, but get an idea of the hot topic from interactions with normies I work alongside/with. Seems that the weather is the focus of the media lately, bit like Wuhan Flu was the focus back in early 2020.
Could it be the media-parrots are building a climate lockdown narrative amongst the sheeple as the Convid crime has exhausted even the die-hard true believers of the medical establishment.
Time to find a climate Tsar to front alongside Jacinda with climate related deaths announced each day.
The beatings will continue until we have zero carbon 2 legged lifeforms on earth.
Looking at the newspaper headlines here, it’s evil Boris and the Devil’s Heatwave: no Covid, no Ukraine.
Perhaps this is a pivot to climate lock-downs, but they won’t give up on vaxxing I’m sure.
The main reason I check the MSM is to see what drum is being pounded… I know they are pounding out propaganda — then I retire to my library and drop a hit of acid — turn on the mood lighting … and try to work out what they are up to
Fast Eddy goes to the doctor…
Today Fast Eddy went to a Random GP cuz he needed some Voltaren to allow for the playing of the ice hockey without ski crashed ribs doubling him over in pain…
It started off rather poorly with a sign saying if you are sick or unvaxxed get out of here and call us…so I call and tell them I am unvaxxed is there a reason for this? So long as you don’t have any flu symptoms you can ‘come in’…. ooh I can ‘come in’ What a Treat!
She has a look at the ribs .. nothing major … but it can take up to 8 weeks for something like that to come good… she pumps Voltaren into the computer… 50mg…
I practice preventative meds she says (as we get to know each other and while she gently fondles my sack to check if it’s all ‘in order’) … when’s the last time you had blood work. can’t remember but it was good.. and I don’t bother anymore
I prevent medicine too by not smoking barely drinking (except when at the VIP Lounge but that doesn’t count)… and not stuffing garbage into the temple….I also grow lots of food without chems… and I exercise most days… sleep about 14 hours per day … I’m feeling great…
Yes but even if you are healthy you can still have issues …
Ya well everyone dies of something but I’m good… (I wanted to say that I likely only have to make it till max Christmas cuz the extinction is anticipated to occur in Q4 as per my mate Fast Eddy.. but I didn’t want to .. alarm her… and she might have called the psych orderlies who would gather me up and dump me in a cage with anna … oooh that would suck!… so I just left it At That…)
You sure you don’t want to check cholesterol levels — even if you eat well they can still be high — time for an anecdote on cholesterol (Dr Malcolm Kendrick also influences my thinking on this)…
Oh ya cholesterol — I have a good mate who was trying to push statins on me 15 years ago — I said – he’s a giant fat man and he’s Indian and he thinks Butter Chicken is a healthy dish (he really does…) so he’s probably got C levels through the roof… I on the other had was totally normal — he says ya but it could be better — I’m like ya well if you’d get off your arse and stop eating Butter Chicken you’d be better to (actually I had my Tourettes under control then so I didn’t say what I was thinking nor did I blurt this to the doctor)….
But what I did say to the doctor is – and we all know what a disaster statins turned out to be… https://drmicozzi.com/statin-scandal-hits-high-note-and-a-new-low
If she believes lifestyle cannot fix cholesterol then wanna bet she’d be pushing the statins… gotta hit that sales target to get the suite at the resort in Fiji come August!!! Her shoulders sagged and she put on her best Ardern Frown of Disappointment when I adamantly said NO – NO F789ING BLOOD TESTS – NO TESTS for anything – do I look like a Fat Old F789 in Diapers – like someone who needs… tests????? – all I want is my f789ing Voltaren and you’ll probly never see me again….
In an attempt to calm the situation (which was for a moment threatening to spiral out of control)…
I says I really don’t put anything into the temple unless I absolute need it … even with the Voltaren (which she said to take 3x per day) I says I will only take that before I skate – so I can skate… one only… I kinda like the pain the rest of the time cuz it makes me feel…. feel.. alive … yes that’s it – I feel alive … do you not agree??? She looks uncomfortable … so I leave it at that… for her to ponder as she googles trying to work out who exact the f789 this bizarre character is .. problem is she does not know to google Fast Eddy … so she’ll get nowhere with that…
The sales pitch stopped there…
BTW – did I mention she had an N95 diaper on her face?
Good on her for not mentioning my ‘unvaxxed statooos’ Cuz I know she can see that on the compoooter…. I suppose the doctors know that if someone walks through the door unvaxxed at this stage of the game they are not on for it … and raising that is only likely to antagonize and result in a beating ….
I wonder if there were any notes on the system about my previous doctors visit … must be nearly a year ago now — with old Val …. I heard Val had to do a Bit of Time in the Hoo Hoo House (with anna) after that visit… apparently she was Soosisidal after Fast convinced her that she was murdering people with the injections …. she denied it at the time but the sheer Brute Force of Fast Eddy’s logic and facts can challenge even the most robust Cognitive Dissonance..
You will recall that Fast Eddy followed up on The Confrontation by post Val a summary of the Nuremberg Code + this https://pdfhost.io/v/nvrgA~sEJ_VAERS_Heart_Damage_V8
Cuz ya know … she tried to push the injection on Fast … she tried to Kill Fast Eddy – or at least seriously … f789 HIM up…. That’s a big no no … a huge no no … she should have cherished and worshipped Fast Eddy — not try to murder Fast!!
And if you recall she refused to give FE his Hydroxy… f789ing Bitch! How dare she defy The Great One (Goat – greatest of all time)…
Val deserved to Taste the Lash… she brought it on herself….
Bedlam is not a bad place… she’ll eventually come good in there… crazy old f789ing bat
‘But I’m a scientist… I’m a scientist!!! There’s no context here – no context I say!!!’
But Val you’re a murrrrderrrrrerrrr… a murrrrrderrrrer …. I am not! But you are Val you are injecting the experiment and you are murrrrderrrring your patients including children…. I am not I am not I am not!!! You are so you are so you are so Val…. shall we have another look https://pdfhost.io/v/nvrgA~sEJ_VAERS_Heart_Damage_V8
Aiiiieeeeeeee — Aiieeeeeeee — I am a murderer — OMG what have I done – I want to soosidide I want Fentanyl… the Big F…. Val Val get hold of yourself … let’s just medicate you with some Xanax and Fast will give you a ride in the Bat Mobile and we can go visit anna… anna is Fast’s good friend!
Oh Mr Fast you are so kind … Val gets into the Bat Mobile and Fast hits the accelerator — Val shrieks OMG this is Great!!! Yee Haw Yeee Haw… this is fun can we put the top down… It’s a bit chilly for that Val… when Fast comes to gather you in the spring we can drive with the top down…
Oh that would be wonderful Mr Fast … you are so amazing … just a sec Val… Fast goes to see the orderly — ya rubber room #7.. with anna…. yes I am signing her in till at least March of 23… yes full commitment she stays put … pleasure doin business with you again Fast handing FE a wad of bills for the commission … hey when are you gonna get norm committed… oh ya … he’s a tough old nut to crack that norm… maybe after the 5th Pfizer he’ll be Biden’ed and he’ll be ready to enrol.
That was a great read! Keep em coming FE.
Can’t wait for the Book…what will be the Title..??

jobs?
surging inflation has put unemployment on the back burner.
the recession which is now ongoing will likely deepen, and it seems almost inevitable that unemployment will be surging later this year or at least in 2023.
where will the job losses be highest?
not so much in any business/industry that provides lower level essentials.
the potentially massive job losses will be in discretionary sectors, and in any sector perceived as essential that only produces mostly higher level essentials.
the perception of what are essentials will be changing in the near future, and even now there may be differing opinions on what are or are not essentials.
with surging inflation, IC may be just one critical step away from at least partial collapse.
that one next step would be massive high unemployment.
wait for it.
“What is new this time around is that the oil shock of 2005 which triggered the series of policy mistakes that brought down the banking system in 2008, has morphed into a generalised supply shock in 2022 as the energy cost of energy is driving up the value of essentials like food, fuel and temperature control, even as the larger, discretionary sectors of the economy are already in recession.”

This is an excellent long article by Tim Watkins, talking about what is going wrong financially. I think he has pretty much “nailed it.” This is one section, near the end:
Nor was Hitler’s incursion into Poland ever an existential threat to Britain. Even the German defeat of France was not, which is demonstrated by Hitler’s show of good faith in allowing the Dunkirk evacuation.
Germany invaded Poland for two proximal reasons, the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Germans in Poland (the Danzig-Bromberg massacres to start with) and to get a march on the Soviet army, which had 20,000 tanks massed on its border ready to invade.
If only Chamberlain had not in March 1939 guaranteed to support Poland (5th largest army in the world in terms of tanks and planes) in its aggressions against Germany…
Now, about NATO and Ukraine…
There were no policy mistakes – they did what had to be done and if they hadn’t we’d be long dead
SEE PAGE 59 – THE PERFECT STORM : The economy is a surplus energy equation, not a monetary one, and growth in output (and in the global population) since the Industrial Revolution has resulted from the harnessing of ever-greater quantities of energy. But the critical relationship between energy production and the energy cost of extraction is now deteriorating so rapidly that the economy as we have known it for more than two centuries is beginning to unravel https://ftalphaville-cdn.ft.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Perfect-Storm-LR.pdf

Interesting.

You Spaniards are so up front and personal.
Laplanders just go away and die.
norm prefers death by lethal injections … har har har
Ättestupa (Scandinavian for ‘kin/clan precipice’) is a name given to a number of precipices in Sweden, Norway and Iceland.
The name supposedly denotes sites where ritual senicide took place during pagan Nordic prehistoric times, whereby elderly people threw themselves, or were thrown, to their deaths.[1] According to legend, this was done when old people were unable to support themselves or assist in a household.
I vote that anyone over 65 who wears diapers take commit senicide
what other reactions will consumers make in the face of 17% inflation?
while discretionary sectors will inevitably shrink, though with a Time Delay, what about essential sectors?
essentials could be modeled into two sections, as higher level essentials and lower level essentials.
in the basic category of food, steak is not “essential” for survival, it might be “wanted” like a discretionary item, but it still falls into the essential food category.
so in this category, higher level items are steak and organic vegetables etc, lower level items are ground beef and potatoes and rice.
clothing: higher level items are new shirts, lower level items are the shirts in your closet that might have a stain or small tear.
furniture: somewhat similar, a higher level item is a new sofa, a lower level item is an old sofa with a stain or two and the fabric is fraying.
a new bed and mattress is higher level, a mattress on the floor is lower level.
this may be too simplistic, but whatever.
just trying to make a rough mental model of the near future of essential sectors and discretionary sectors.
so what will shrink sooner and/or faster?
consumers squeezed by high inflation still have choices, and the choices don’t have to be an automatic reduction in discretionary spending.
lower level essentials will be the last category standing.
the spending squeeze will hit discretionary sectors AND what is described here as the higher level essential sectors.
There is always salvation army. But more to the point, they will start buying clothing and shoes that last. Hemp might be one of the few growth sectors.
I bought nearly all of my furniture from the Salvation Army shop: mostly about 100 yrs old oak, the sort of things skilled working, and lower middle-class, couples bought when they married.
Well-made, good proportions and dirt-cheap, with only very minor repairs need in some cases, or striping down to stain and french-polish afresh.
For the rest I made settles with under-seat storage, bookcases, shutters, chests, and hanging shelves from a huge pile of salvaged wood a builder brought me – amazing what gets thrown out and wasted when a house is gutted!
I think someone produced a book on how Russians coped with shortages and made all kinds of useful things for themselves in the 1990’s.
article a few days old:
https://wolfstreet.com/2022/07/15/americans-not-in-the-mood-for-a-recession-splurging-on-goods-flocking-to-restaurants/
how is it that people keep spending on much more than essentials?
1. the people who were saving/investing 17% or more of their take home pay, now hit with 17% inflation, a year later they can keep up their discretionary spending by eliminating their saving/investing. And later they could dip into their savings to continue their lifestyle.
2. the people who weren’t saving, but paid off their credit cards monthly, now a year later might be able to keep up their lifestyle if they just pay the monthly minimum. They previously weren’t saving or going into debt, but now would be more likely to be in debt.
3. the people who were partly living off credit cards and were just paying the monthly minimum, well a year later with 17% inflation, their lifestyle is going to take a hit.
very little of this is sustainable if inflation continues for another year or more at an elevated %.
this is all somewhat simplistic, but suggests a conclusion:
that even with high inflation and looming recession, there will be a Time Delay for a reduction in spending in discretionary sectors.
Another ONE!!! https://twitter.com/acastef53/status/1483222705897979905

Japan still does not allow tourists.
Very few flights into China and internal movements restricted
Heathrow limiiting the number of passengers to 100,000 per day
Flights into Bangkok and Singapore is much lower than it is before C19
Perhaps it is the manpower issue or perhaps there is really no oil and they are just using manpower shortage as an excuse (??)
Yep, global production of jet fuel is still well below the 2019 level.
In the Netherlands people are discouraged from airtravel: missing luggage, delayed and cancelled flights without reimbursements
M Fast sees a lot of tourists at her work – mostly Aussies — the common problem is lost luggage… in fact and entire plane landed and the entire load of baggage was not with the plane.
So how does happen? As far as I am aware most of these flights are all direct to QT so the opportunities to f789 up are minimal..
I read this as – let’s create lots of hassles so that it puts people off of travelling… this + the stories of cancelled and delayed flights puts me off big time.
I read the other day that a flight into Auckland from somewhere arrived after the curfew hours – and that they knew when they departed late that this would happen .. the ground crew was gone home … so all the passengers had to sleep in the terminal and wait till morning to sort out the onwards flight…
That surely was intentional – they KNEW that flight would arrive late. You don’t just leave people hanging like that

This month his 76-year-old estranged father, Errol Musk, admitted to having another child with his 35-year-old stepdaughter in 2019. He was married to his stepdaughter’s mother for 18 years, according to Business Insider.
“The only thing we are on Earth for is to reproduce,” the elder Musk reportedly said, echoing his son’s sentiments. “If I could have another child, I would. I can’t see any reason not to

Elon Musk is known to say that he procreates to populate Mars.
He might not be joking.
On the Thursday edition of the Full Send Podcast, “Shark Tank” billionaire Mark Cuban told of a recent text exchange he had with Musk after the birth of one of his children.
“He had another kid, right? This was before the last three or whatever it was,” Cuban said, likely referring to the three children Musk fathered in 2021, one with musician Grimes, and two with an executive at Neuralink, a brain chip implant firm he owns.
“I’m like, ‘Dude, congratulations, how many you going to have?’” Cuban recalled. “He sends me a text back, ‘Mars needs people.’”
Musk, who periodically tweets his concerns about underpopulation, has nine known children. In June he confirmed that he secretly fathered twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

Notice how there is a pay wall on this — seeing more of that… the thing is… there are very few vaxxers reading this stuff — so if there is a paywall that will equate to ZERO vaxxers reading this.
So they end up preaching exclusively to the converted. I am not sure why anyone who is converted would pay simply to reinforce what they already know.
So is this more about making $$$$ or trying to overturn the mass psychosis?
There is nothing worth paying for re the CovCON…. I provide UEP for free… and UEP is the defining analysis of the situation … all else is puff.
again, many thanks for providing the CEP for free.
the CEP is the polar opposite of “puff”.
The thing is, thin strips of fabric over the mouth and nose are exactly what is needed to stop SARS-CoV-2 transmission. Never mind the mandated novel mRNA-based injections that were supposedly going to provide us with herd immunity. We’ve learned so much during the era of COVID-19. We now know that covering our mouths and noses will bring an end to the global pandemic.
Nothing works 100% ALL the time, right?
Like your car, or airplanes, the zipper on your fleece, or even your laptop!
So why should vaxxes and masks be any different?
Do some critical thinking!
Masks and vaxxes and home imprisonment all work – a little bit each but together – to Keep You Safe!
Right from cradle to -an early – grave!
Something tells me the lockdowns are for the same reason they did that in Hong Kong during the protests and uprising against the government. The German government is probably thinking ahead that the last thing they need are angry German’s roaming the streets with no food and electricity.
Yes – they want lockdowns but the lockdowns cannot be forced… they need to instil fear in the hordes so they want to be locked down….
VAIDS + Mutations = mass hospitalizations + deaths = FEAR…..
Even if the hordes are starving … they won’t venture out….
It’s also useful to empty the shelves in the super markets so they know that even if they go out there is no food to be had… so they sit and wait … for the delivery vans… that eventually don’t come…
Hopefully at some point the vans include a large bottle of Fentanyl and some kool aid powder in every food hamper!
These are energy related curfews as always. It’s never been anything to do with a virus.

Florida family drives into electric car problem: a replacement battery costs more than vehicle itself
The Florida family found out a replacement for the electric car’s battery would cost thousands
She told the news outlet that the car stopped running after taking it to a repair shop, and the family eventually found out that the car’s battery would need to be replaced.
The problem? A battery for the electric car costs $14,000, according to the news outlet.
Siwinski’s grandfather stepped in to help out with the car problems because her father passed away in June due to colon cancer
The Ford dealership had advised us that we could replace the battery,” said her grandfather, Ray Siwinski. “It would only cost $14,000.”
However, the family found out that there weren’t any batteries of that type available anymore because the Ford model is discontinued.
“Then we found out the batteries aren’t even available,” Siwinski said. “So it didn’t matter. They could cost twice as much and we still couldn’t get it.

Suppose these cars are really not renewable… imagine that
I worked on a customer’s Chevy Volt. He told me the story on how he got such a great deal for a barely used Volt at $26,000. He has it towed from Texas to Florida and comes to find out the batteries need to be replaced. It would have cost him around $18,000. Fortunately for him the car was still under warranty. People don’t think it thru when it comes to EV’s. It’s like Jim Kunstler’s episode with his Solar panel array and the expense it takes to maintain it.
They get all Drunk on Delusion and Mass Psychosis and Hype… and rush to the dealer….
Posting the story on expensive EV batteries.
I will not even think of buying an EV or hybrid just for that reason. It seems to me (just thinking out loud) that perhaps (just perhaps), there is a off/on switch in the brain that controls critical thinking.
The issue of buying the EV and found out that the battery is expensiver certainly rhymes with “safe and effective”.
They have the switch inside the brain that just got turned off and they become lazy to think, check and investigate.
I sat down and thought about it. I will never ever do that (buying EV and found out battery is too expensive). The fact that someone used ignorance as an excuse is identical to ignorance on vaccines.
* Fact – they are too lazy to check and investigate. They just want people to send them links only and that is how scams work because the links just point to sites that are fake.

Who would have thought that Vladimir Putin would behave like the only grownup in the room?
He doesn’t seem high on his own product.
Contrast that with the “western” side of things where most people doesn’t have a clue about being jacked on their own absurd egotistical fantasies.
And people wonder why all empires and civilizations inevitably collapse.
Yep; it’s self entitled sanctimonious hypocrites electing and manipulating an equally deranged populace, all jacked on various forms of dopamines that make them age like milk and display sterile boilerplate psychosocial traits, passive aggressive platitudes and niceties, and the usual survival-instinct defying derangements.
A pathology of the “times”.
A civilization of infantile rapacious primate traits and behaviors can’t hold a candle against that which is ruthlessly objective. Which seem to display itself in all its g(l)ory over at the eastern front. One team is “fighting” for their self entitlements and privileges and the other for survival.
Place your bets.

Anybody want to debate this article?
https://www.lewrockwell.com/2022/07/mark-reynolds/fossil-fuel-or-not/
Fossil fuels are fossil or renewable?
I think “They lied to us!” could become a meme for the forseeable future…
The article is silly.
We are using fossil fuels rapidly. To make a difference, the supposed abiotic replacement would have to happen amazingly quickly. It isn’t happening. In fact, the new supplies would need to be in easy-to-extract locations. Definitely not likely.
You’d think the oil majors would identify the wells that are magically refilling in their annual reports… that would drive share prices….
“in 2002 the world’s largest oil reserves was discovered in the Athabasca Oil Sands up in North Eastern Alberta, Canada. What was found is estimated to be the largest source of petroleum in the world. Beneath Alberta’s tar sands, at a depth of 7,200 feet, is the world’s largest hydrocarbon deposit. It is believed that the fields may hold 1.7 trillion barrels of oil! Yes, you read that right, ONE POINT SEVEN TRILLION BARRELS!”
Awesome! Everyone can pack it up and go home. Oil is solved!
It will probably take ONE POINT FIVE TRILLION BARRELS to extract the stuff.

A VERY interesting update from Germany about Covid-vaccines SERIOUS adverse events:
”A specialized (public) lawyer will provide compensation for those affected. Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach first publicly informed of possible vaccination damages.
Attorney Caesar-Preller explains the legal explosiveness.
Mr. Caesar-Preller, as a lawyer you represent several people who suffer long-term consequences after vaccination. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach recently officially announced on Twitter for the first time that corona vaccines, including mRNA vaccines, can lead to SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS. Before that, the SPD politician always talked about vaccines “without side effects.”
How do you judge this from a legal point of view?
This reversal by the health minister was absolutely necessary.
Legally, this means a lot.
There could now be official liability claims against the Federal Republic of Germany or individual federal states.
Injured parties could then obtain compensation.

If there is any compensation available. In today’s environment I expect even if someone wins their case they will hear: sorry, we are broke. We will get back to you once things get back to normal and the funds are replenished. All existing funds have already been committed to purchasing additional boosters.
Payouts in Germany will hurt the case for hiding the problem elsewhere.
I also think the same.
That is the big and key point of this.
Whitney Webb did an interview on Odysee.com regarding the Covid scam and there was a German Lawyer who was building a case on Big Pharma injuring and killing people with their mRNA vaccines. It was a coverup in the making. It’s about an hour long but well worth a listen if anyone is interested. Needless to say there are several behind the scene players involved.

Weather forecasters say that Britain this week may experience its highest temperature on record — more than 40 degrees Celsius, or about 105 degrees Fahrenheit. In response, officials in London have asked people to stay home, saying that vehicles may overheat and rail tracks may buckle.
In France, Greece, Spain and other parts of Europe, the same heat wave has sparked dozens of wildfires.
In the U.S., parts of the Southwest and the Central Plains are bracing for temperatures that could reach 110 degrees this week. Already, the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has experienced more days above 100 degrees this summer than it historically has in an entire summer on average.
Must be part of Eddie UEP pogrom..
Yes, Gail, you are right again…lots of things going wrong all at once..
But I want to know for sure on the details WHY!?
Self-organizing systems behave strangely. There seems to. Higher Power behind what happens.
The power that guides the Laws of the Universe, such as, Physics and Chemistry
AND FOR WHICH REASON THERE COULD BE A SPIRITUAL COMPONENT TO EVERYTHING.
Re self organizing:
the system requires growth… therefore the people who end up running companies etc… will be those who the self organizing system deem best to ensure the self organizing system grows
hence you get those sorts of people in the drivers’ seats — you won’t get a snowflakey feeble minded person who takes pity on imbeciles and gives them jobs cuz.
the system is geared towards efficiency … and that ensures that even though one might think someone hoisted himself by his petard and ended up as a captain of industry… the reality is the self organizing system ensured that he – or she — or someone who is laser focused on growth — would get the job.
There is no way around this — if someone ends up in the job but f789s up — they are replaced by another cog that goes after the bone like a vicious dog.
This is happening at all levels — competition driven by the self organizing system… there will be some wastage to the system (e.g. we feed the riff raff and tolerate the feeble minded and deformed) but it’s minor … if it ever threatened the system then it would be eliminated.
As I have witnessed in my lifetime the specialization involved in most jobs has increased dramatically — top of my head this might be a result of declining nett energy and the need for ever more efficiencies across the board to keep the self organizing system growing…
Does the self organizing system ever stop working, whether growth or decline is involved?
Gail, you know: it is just an accounting issue.
Accounting always works, if you can assume that an economy can grow economy forever. If it stops growing, repaying debt with interest becomes a big problem. In fact, it becomes difficult for new investments to have a positive return. Eventually, pollution problems are the main output of new investment.

Biden’s Saudi Arabia Visit Was Worse Than an Embarrassment
The president’s 24 hours in Jeddah were dominated by photos of his fist bump with Mohammed bin Salman. Things went downhill from there.
Hmmm… he is the representative of the Elders… the Elders could bomb KSA back to the stone age in a day… but he’s kissing their asses….
I suspect what happened is Joe was put in a corner and given a yo yo to play with … and a milk shake..
And the Serious People asked the Saudis for an update on the State of their Oil Production — and were told nothing has changed… we are still f789ed.
They agreed that they should buy more oil from Russia and export it so that the world would not figure out that they are f789ed.
In Italy newspapers are triumphantly reporting that Mr. Draghi has signed a deal to have an increase of gas import from Algeria.
Addtional 4 billion mc of gas from Algeria, the total will be 27 billion mc.

But we imported in 2021 71,34 billions mc of gas and Russia size was 26,96 billions mc, therefore the journey seems to be long to substitute it….

From this article it seems that Spain and Italy have entered a sort of competition to catch gas from Algeria.

I had also read in the past that Algerian gas reserves are depleting. Does anyone have clear data about this depleting ?
Thanks
You know that the gas from Algeria will also run out eventually.
Maybe in 5 years, maybe already in 2 years.
I found this article from Antonio Turiel in which there old charts about Algeria (Argelia in Spanish). It would be interesting to have new ones. Maybe Gail has something. I hope so.
https://crashoil.blogspot.com/2016/09/tres-preguntas.html
From BP Statistical Review of World Energy, we can see that Algeria produced 100 billion cubic meters in 2021 (it was 79 bcm in 2011),
but it consumed 45 bcm in the same year (and it was 26 bcm in 2011).
It seems that Algeria was sucessful in increasing its production, but it is also increasing its own consumes.
At the same time Europe produced 284 bcm in 2011, but it is now down to 210 bcm.
With lower production in Germany in comparison with the past, but expecially down for Netherlands through the years.
Very interesting we can see that US is a very big producer of gas with 934 bcm in 2021, but also a great consumer of gas with 826 bcm
Russian Federation big producer with 701 bcm in 2021 and internal consumption of 474 (so there is a big room for export at the moment).
China produced only 209 bcm in 2011 and consumed 378 bcm.

Maybe you can re-learn how to heat your apartments with charcoal braziers in Italy – quick, dash out to the antique shops before the rush, Student!
I would need to look at the Algeria situation when I am not traveling and can make an exhibit or two. Algeria’s own consumption has been rising. Its production seems to have risen recently as well. Perhaps there has been some new investment. BP chart shows that reserves have fallen. I expect economic conditions will put an end to extraction, long before BP Reserves look like they are falling.
I agree that Algeria cannot supply very much of Europe’s total natural gas requirements.
Many thanks for your message Gail.
In the meantime I had a look to BP Statistical Data.
You will see in a post that is coming out.
But I’m not sure if I have interpreted correctly the data.
How long will Algeria want EU paper money? It is printed and will be worthless. Across the entire 3rd and 2nd world, nations going bankrupt and already in collapse are being offered more “debt restructuring loans” by the IMF. I can just see the Russians whispering in their ear….just repudiate your debt. In any event, the IMF printed fiat will not be of interest to Russia for payment for energy and food.
Debt that cannot be repaid, ultimately will not be repaid.
Repudiating debt would begin the cycle of less and less debt.
